A/N: Cinder and Raven do battle with each other, showing off the extent of their maiden powers.

You and Sienna charged at the Humanoid Grimm as they were doing the same with you both. You slammed your fist against their shield as Sienna tried to slash at an opening for her. But the Grimm blocked it with their spear. The Grimm then reacted fast by landing a kick to Sienna and sending her back a few feet. They then headbutted You, which made You get a little dizzy as you moved back a little. 

(Y/N): D....definitely a heavy hitter. 

You said as you were trying to stay on your feet. Sienna manged to get back up and charge at the Humanoid Grimm again. But when she went to slash at it again, The Humanoid Grimm preformed an extraordinary jump and landed to the top of the ship.

Sienna: That's not good.

(Y/N): What is it?

You asked as you were still a little dizzy.

Ridley: That Grimm is trying to take down the ship!

(Y/N): What?!

You yelled as you finally no longer dizzy. You looked up to the ship and saw the Humanoid Grimm getting ready to attack the ship with large metallic parts to ram into it. You flew up to them and landed a punch on their chest before they had anytime to move their hands or block.

(Y/N): Like hell I'll let you take down this ship. 

The Grimm was about to jump back, but you grabbed on the front part of it's hood. They used their spear to cut it off and reveal some of their clothes as they jumped back. When you saw it, it looked like a very familiar armor.

(Y/N): I may not know exactly what you are. But I know that you are not Pyrrha Nikos.

The Grimm just tilted her head as you were soon joined by Ridley and the others.

Penny: (Y/N), we've taken care of the Grimm, but we can't be able to keep going with this thing here.

(Y/N): Ridley?

Ridley looked over to you.

Ridley: Yes sir?

(Y/N): How much further are we from Mistral?

Ridley: We're just two miles from it. Why?

(Y/N): Is there anyway to get their faster.

Ridley: Yes, but we usually run into things when ever we use the damn boost.

(Y/N): Set the boost to 40%, we need to try and knock this thing off while going in that speed.

Ridley: Are you sure a plan like that will work?

(Y/N): We better hope so.

Ridley then pressed on the scouter on the side of his face to contact the other soldiers inside.

Ridley: Men, set the boost to 40% and keep our direction to Mistral.

Soldier: Are you sure?

Ridley: Do it.

Soldier: Yes sir.

The soldiers activated the boost and the ship moved much faster than it was before. 

Coco: What the?!

Sienna: What the hell is going on?!

Penny: Why is the ship moving at 40%?

(Y/N): We're heading to Mistral more faster while using the speed to try and knock this Grimm off.

Sienna: That idea sounds completely idiotic, but I guess we don't have a choice.

Melanie: It's 8 against 1 anyways. This fight will be in our favor.

You all stood ready to take on The Humanoid Grimm once more. Back in Haven, Ruby and Yang continued to face off against Emerald and Mercury. The sisters switched positions and leaped forward to take on their opponents. Yang knocked into Emerald while Ruby took on Mercury. He used his left boot to kick Crescent Rose out of her hands.

Mercury: Uh oh, what're you gonna do now?

Mercury tried to throw a left cross, but Ruby ducked and headbutted him upwards - in a similar manner to what Ozpin taught her what to do. Mercury stepped a few feet backwards and held his nose in pain, before growling at Ruby, who picked Crescent Rose back up.

Ruby: Whatever it takes to shut you up.

Meanwhile, Nora was seen holding Magnhild up defensively protecting Jaune, who was still healing Weiss.

Nora: You guys doing okay?

Jaune: I..... I think so. She's coming to. I just wish this would go faster.

Nora: How about you don't complain and just be thankful you unlocked your Semblance when you did.

Jaune: My Semblance?

Nora: How else do you think you're healing her, dummy?

Jaune stared back at her in disbelief before looking back down at Weiss.

Jaune: No. I don't think I'm healing her. Our Aura heals our bodies. It feels... it feels more like I'm using my Aura to amplify hers!

Nora: Wait, aren't you worried about running out?

Jaune: Pyrrha once told me I've got a lot of it. I still believe her.

Suddenly, Weiss opened up her eyes, stirring.

Weiss: Jaune?

Nora smiled before standing guard again. Meanwhile, Ren was taking on Hazel, who punched the former back into the wall. Hazel then launched an electrical charge from his lightning-Dust enhanced arm, electrocuting Ren, causing him to scream in pain before falling to the ground.

Nora: REN!

Jaune: Go! I've got her!

Nora nodded at him before proceeding forward.

Weiss: Jaune... what's happening?

Jaune: You took a heavy hit, you need to stay with me while the others fight.

Weiss: That's...... annoying.

Jaune smiled.

Jaune: Heh, good to have you back, Weiss.

Meanwhile, Qrow was getting knocked back into the wall and then fell to the ground next to the downed Ren, who struggled to get back up as well. Oscar used his cane to block flaming rocks being fired from Lionheart's weapon. Hazel charged forward and punched Oscar several feet back.

Hazel: Hiding behind the face of a child? A monster like you must be stopped!!

Nora charged at Hazel with a loud battle cry. She leaped into the air, but Hazel caught Magnhild and slammed Nora into the ground. Hazel then grabbed Nora's head, electrocuting her with his lightning Dust-enhanced arms and making her scream out in pain.

Hazel: How many more children must die for you?!

Suddenly, Nora grabbed Hazel's wrist.

Hazel: Huh?

Nora, inadvertently enhanced by Hazel's electricity thanks to her Semblance, stood back up and flipped him over her shoulder. He rolled back several feet away. Nora then held Magnhild up defensively, before Ozpin got her attention.

Ozpin: His Semblance... he can block out pain. It's how he is able to handle injecting so much Dust into his body.

Nora stared back at Hazel, who stood back up.

Nora: I don't need him to hurt...

Hazel screamed and charged forward again.

Nora: I just need him to GO DOWN!!

As Hazel neared her, Nora prepped to swing Magnhild. She then swung her hammer right into Hazel's chest, her counterattack launching him to the wall that Frost was at.

Frost: Uh oh. 0_0

Frost moved out of the way as Hazel was sent through the wall and outside onto Haven Academy's quad. Adam and White Fang soldiers look on.

White Fang Soldier: What's going on in there?

The soldier asked Adam, But Hazel Interrupted.

Hazel: None of your concern...

Adam and his followers stared in amazement as they watched Hazel get back up. He then took out a pair of red Dust crystals and stabbed them into his arms. He let out another roar as Ruby watched from inside the building. She then looked back to her friends and allies, all of them looking tired and worn out from the battle they've endured.

Adam: Stay focused! Our friends are almost done here.

Adam and his followers got back to work, but then they hear a voice call out to him.

Blake: ADAM!!

They all looked up and saw Blake standing on top of the roof of a nearby building.

Adam: Blake?

Hazel: Who is that?

Frost: "sighs" Brilliant, more pests.

Blake: Stand down!

The White Fang soldiers aimed their firearms at her.

Adam: Wait! 

He put his hands up as the White Fang soldiers stood down, before laughing evilly.

Adam: To think that I went through so much trouble to find you, only to have you deliver yourself to me.

Blake: This isn't what's right for the Faunus! Stop what you're doing and we can end this peacefully.

Adam: You're wrong, Blake, and you can't stop us.

Blake: No, I can't. Not by myself.

Sun: That's why she didn't come alone!

Adam and his followers turned to the left in surprise, seeing Sun standing in front of a massive legion of Faunus all armed with blunt weaponry, their shields bearing the old White Fang symbol.

Adam: What?!

White Fang Soldier: Who's there?

They then turned to the right, and saw  Ghira leading another massive legion of Faunus.

Ghira: Your brothers and sisters.

One of the White Fang Soldiers lowered his weapon, recognizing one of the Faunus in the crowd.

White Fang Soldier: M..... Mata?

Mata was seen in the crowd holding a club and shield.

Mata: Please... stop this...

Adam and his followers looked all around them assessing the situation.

Adam: Make no mistake, brothers! These are our enemies! And we will not let them ruin.....

Suddenly, Adam was interrupted when a Mistral airship shined its searchlight down on Adam and his group. The Mistral police captain was seen on the airship with Kali.

Mistral Police Captain: Adam Taurus, this is the Mistral Police Force! Lower your weapons and surrender peacefully.

More Mistral airships arrived. Back inside, Ruby knocked Emerald back a few feet. Emerald then heared the sounds of the Mistral airships as their searchlights shined through the windows. Everyone stopped what they were doing. Weiss leaned up as Jaune continued healing her.

Weiss: What's happening?

Jaune: I'm not sure. How are you feeling?

Weiss: Better. 

She said as she sat up and activated a summoning Glyph in her hand.

Weiss: Much better. Keep it up.

Back outside, Blake landed to the ground from the roof.

Adam: How?! How did you do this?!!

Blake: Adam, it's over.

Adam looked around as the crowds of Menagerie Faunus get closer to him and his group. He then pulled out a detonator.

Adam: Then it's over for all of us.

Female White Fang Soldier: Hey wait!

Adam's followers held up their arms as they braced for the impending explosion. Adam pressed the button, but nothing happened.

Adam: Huh?

He pressed the detonator button a few more times, nothing happened.

White Fang Soldier: What are you doing? Trying to get us all killed?!

Suddenly, Adam grabbed his collar.

Adam: I am making humanity pay for WHAT THEY'VE DONE!!

Adam let go and pushed the White Fang soldier back when Blake spoke.

Blake: We sent someone over to confirm your explosives, and once we did, she disarmed them.

Ilia walked out from around the tower, dropping her black camouflage as she held the wires in her hand that disabled the bombs. Adam seethed, realizing that the situation was no longer in his favor. He then turned to Hazel.

Adam: What do we do?

Hazel: This... is your business. Not mine. Fix it.

He said as he cracked his knuckles. Adam just glared back at him before turning to Blake.

Blake: I told you, Adam. It's over...

Adam, not having any of it, yelled out in frustration and charged forward toward Blake. He took out Wilt from Blush to slash at her, but Blake used her Semblance to get out of the way and she knocked him down by balling her fists together and hitting his back. Adam fell to the ground on his knees, before yelling out to his followers.

Adam: KILL THEM!!!

And thus, the battle between both Faunus groups began. The White Fang soldiers drew their weapons and attempted to fire at the Mistral airships. Sun leaped around twirling Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang in its staff form, while Ilia fought with her whip. Hazel observed the situation in front of him but was then suddenly impaled by a white, glowing stinger. He was then pulled back inside the building and sat up to see that Weiss was back on her feet with a summoned Queen Lancer flying above her. As she prepared to fight again, she gasped as she noticed someone entering the building. Yang and Ruby looked back as well and gasped when they saw Blake, her eyes widening as she saw all of her teammates in the same place.

Blake: Yang?

Yang stared back at her in disbelief, before her sister snapped her out of her trance.

Ruby: Yang! Go! 

She yelled as she pointed in the direction of the vault entrance.

Yang ran forward. Emerald and Mercury tried to stop her.

Emerald: No!

Emerald tried to stop Yang, but failed to and fell to the ground. Mercury grabbed her prosthetic arm. Yang's eyes briefly turned red before turning back to normal. She detached her arm and continued forward, causing Mercury to lose his balance for a bit. 

Frost: Looks like I will have to take care of this.

Frost charged at Yang, but he was met with a hit from the summoned Queen Lancer and was forced back from her.

Frost: Damn it. So that's how it's going to be, huh?

Yang jumped down the hole leading to the vault and Emerald and Mercury attempted to give chase, but they were stopped by an ice wall that suddenly appeared in front of them. They turned around and see Weiss with her Queen Lancer summon as she prepareed to fight the both of them and Frost. Jaune watched from his position and smiled. Ruby then turned back around to look at Blake, and both nodded at each other as the cat Faunus went back outside to join the battle.

Back down in the vault, Cinder Fall looked to the motionless Vernal.

Cinder: Vernal was a decoy the whole time. 

She turned her attention back to Raven.

Cinder: The last Spring Maiden must've trusted you a great deal before she died. I bet that was a mistake...

Raven growled and shot her sword out of her hilt, and the two Maidens began their battle against each other. They striked at each other with a flurry of vicious sword strikes. The two eventually clashed, the strike breaking Cinder's weapon and the shrapnel hurt her Grimm arm. She held her arm in pain.

Raven: Aura can't protect your arm, it's Grimm.

Cinder pulled the shrapnel out of her arm and faces Raven again.

Raven: You turned yourself into a monster just for power.

Cinder conjured another weapon while glaring at Raven.

Cinder: Look who's talking...

The two proceed forward to clash again. During their bout, Raven quickly switched between the various colored blades in her hilt to counter Cinder's various weapons that she conjured. As their battle intensified, Cinder conjured a giant flaming sword while Raven used her Maiden powers to create a massive ice sword.

(Insert One Winged Angel Theme here).

Their clash created a massive shockwave that shook the cavern, with the combatants above ground also feeling the tremors. Due to their battle, the giant stalactites hanging from above started to drop. Both Maidens jumped back to dodge out of the way. As Raven prepared for her next strike, Cinder's Grimm arm elongated through the dust and grabbed Raven's neck. As the Grimm arm slowly drained her powers, Raven noticed something and smirked. She sent out a frost-like attack from her palm and froze Cinder's feet in place as more boulders from the cave in crashed down on her. Raven, now free from her grip, did a massive leap into the air and landed on top of one of the falling stalactites. She looked down and noticed Cinder survived the cave in, using her fire powers to fly up to her. The two fight their way around the falling stalactites. Eventually, the stalactites landed back on the ground, and both Maidens were on their knees, panting in exhaustion while their Auras shimmered as they are about to break. Raven stood back up.

Raven: Had enough yet?

Cinder: Shut up!

Raven: If you were stronger or more clever, then maybe... you'd remember to watch your back!

Cinder glared at her, wondering what the Spring Maiden was talking about, but then gasped as she looked behind her. She noticed the dying Vernal aiming one of her weapons at her and fired. Cinder blocked the attack, but Raven quickly dashed up behind her and landed a devastating lightning attack on her face, shattering her mask and revealing the heavily scarred left side. The sheer force of the attack senr Cinder over the edge of the vault's walkway and above the abyss. She stared back up at Raven, who used her powers to freeze the Fall Maiden. As the ice began to freeze over her body, Cinder was once again seeing visions in her head. It was the memory of her as a child crying over the dying body of her father.

Kid Cinder: D.......daddy.

Cinder's Father: Cinder, listen to me....... you must get stronger....

But before she could hear anymore of what her father said, the vision in her head disappeared as Cinder's body was now fully covered in ice.

Cinder's mind: D........damn it......I.......... I had it..........

Cinder's frozen body fell down into the dark depths of the abyss, fading from view of the other Maiden, who looked down as she watched her enemy continue plunging, before deactivating her Maiden powers and sighing.

Raven: Thank you, Vernal.

Raven sadly looked over to the now-deceased Vernal, whose eyes remain opened on her lifeless body. Raven walked over to Vernal's corpse and gently closed her eyes. Raven then proceeded to the Relic chamber's doorway. She activated her Maiden powers again and began the process to unlock the chamber. Eventually, the door opens up, and on the other side, a massive desert is shown with a path leading to the Relic of Knowledge, which rests on a stone pedestal. Just as she's about to enter the chamber, Raven hears the sound of Ember Celica and turns around to glare at her daughter landing behind her. Yang is shown doing a three-point landing pose and stands back up to face her mother. Back on top of your ship, The battle with the Humanoid Grimm wasn't as much in your favor as she thought. Even though there was 8 of you against one of Them, They were very fast moving and was able to block most of your attacks. But that didn't mean that it was easy for them either. As you were able to land a few hits on the Grimm when given the opportunity.

Melanie: Okay, maybe this wasn't as much in our favor than I thought.

Sienna: You think?

(Y/N): This thing was playing that shit with me earlier down in the forest.

Penny was attacking the Grimm with multiple blades of her. But the Grimm of course, was either blocking or dodging them. However, when the Grimm tried to Kill Penny almost the same way Pyrrha accidentally killed Penny. But this time, there weren't any cables attacked to the blades to wrap around and break off parts of her body.

Ridley: Good thing that we removed the cables this time.

(Or whatever those small string things were that wrapped around her arm and waist before she was slashed in half).   

Penny landed a hit on the Grimm. This angered them as they then grabbed Penny's leg and slashed it off. Velvet gasped as Coco yelled out.

Coco: Penny!

In seconds, wires came out from the cut parts of Penny's arms burst out and yanked her severed arm back and reattached it, fixing any damages that were made during the slash.

???: ?!

Penny kicked away the Grimm and they was almost knocked off of the ship if they hadn't slammed their spear into the metal to prevent from falling off.

Sienna: What?

Coco: She reattached her arm?

Ridley: You can think the technology of the Big Gete Star for that. With it, she'll be able to repair her body from any intense damages.

You charged at the Grimm as they were getting up.

(Y/N): And it gives us just the edge in this fight that we need.

Ridley charged at the Grimm with you as They soon lifted up their shield to block the hit from you. But Ridley knocked the Shield from their Grimm and slashed at their arm with his small wrist blade. The Grimm made a growling noise which sounded feminine. But before they would attack again, a voice that only they heard stopped them. It was salem's voice.

Salem: That's enough, child. Return to my domain at once.

The Grimm then nodded before soon jumping off of the ship.

Ridley: Huh?!

Sienna: She jumped off?

(Y/N): Wow, I was definitely not expecting a Grimm to suddenly commit suicide. 0_0

Penny: My scanning system still shows that it's still alive. But it's running the other way.

Coco: Ha, sent the damn thing packing and running scared.

(Y/N): Maybe, but I have doubts that this will be the last we see of it.

You then looked over to Sienna, who was panting more due to her injuries from the Grimm she was trying to escape from earlier. You then walked up to her and to which she soon looked up to you.

Sienna: I know, I need to explain everything to you.

You then looked to the direction of the approaching Haven before looking back to Sienna.

(Y/N): Don't worry, you can explain to me later. I need to do something first.

You said as you looked nervously into the direction of Haven before You felt Coco placed her hand on your shoulder.

Coco: Go on, don't keep Ruby waiting anymore longer.

You smiled and gave them girls a hug before you began to fly off to the direction of Haven ahead of the ship.
