"I'm releasing a book tomorrow"Kamil said when I walked into the living room to call them for breakfast

"Really?that's amazing Kamil"i said excitedly
Kamal nodded and Dad smiled

I am also a fan of my brother in-laws book

"Yes,so I want you all present if possible"he said softly

"Tomorrow is what?"Dad asked looking away from the television
He was watching morning news

"2nd of january"Kamal replied

"Allah is great,time flew really quick
Yaushe muka yi surprise birthday
Gashi har an shiga sabon wata(when did we plan a surprise birthday and now we are in a new month)"he said smiling

"Gaskiya fa(so true)"i said

"May Allah bless you all" Dad prayed

"Ameen" we all chorused
Before Aayan ran into the living room all dressed up

"Lets go eat breakfast"i said before he will scatter the living room

"Don't forget you are dropping me at Fareeda's place"i reminded Kamal the moment he sat on his chair

"How can I?"he asked with a grin

"She will haunt him down"Kamil added 

We all chuckled and ate our breakfast in peace

"Lets go son"i called and he dropped the television remote

"Yay Reeda!"he said excitedly

And he ran out

"Bye everyone"i said running after him trying to catch him

"Ah you are playing tom and Jerry here"Kamal said when I reached his car

I chuckled entering the car while Kamal opened the door for anxious Aayan

Fareeda lives in Maitama so it's kind of a long drive

"Daddy look at my fingers"Aayan called from behind
I looked at it is the same

"I'm driving son don't distract me"Kamal warned

I folded my legs on the seat trying to relax untill I heard scream from the back seat

We all turned and Aayan screamed because he caught a fly
And when we turn around
Our eyes widened when Kamal hit a lady

We got down at the same time

"I am so sorry"Kamal apologised

"Are you Okay?"i asked worriedly

She sits properly and I saw a clear view of her face

She is a very beautiful lady

"Alhamdulilah,ba abun da ya faru(nothing happened)"she said with a smile wiping the dust off her clothes

"I understand accidents happen"she added

"Come we will drop you at your destination"i offered

"I am actually going to the city hospital"she informed

"I also going there,I will just drop my wife then we will go"Kamal spoke and she looked up to him with a smile

"I'm Jamila by the way"she said all attention on my husband

"I'm Kamal"Kamal introduced with his charming smile 

My brows furrowed they have forgotten about me

"And that's my Wife,Malak"he said and they looked at me

"Unique name"she said 

"Thank you"i said with a forced smile

I helped her up and we walked to our car

She sat at the back with Aayan

"Wow is this your son?he looks korean and cute"she blurted

"Yes thank you"i said

The ride to Fareeda's house was quiet even Aayan was quiet

I glanced at the back seat and I saw him giving Jamila a high five
Oh great he also likes her

"Take care of yourselves"Kamal said
When we got down

"I love you"he added kissing my forehead and Aayan closed his eyes

"I love you too and becareful"i said patting his cheeks softly

"Bye Daddy!"Aayan exclaimed

"See you later"Kamal said and I smiled at Jamila

The moment Kamal drove out of the compound

Fareeda ran to us giving us a warm hug

"My cousin didn't even wait for me"Fareeda cried

"You know work"i reasoned

"Yeah,let's go"she said

We entered into the living room and she brought water,drinks and snacks for us

"Hope you are staying till night"she said passing a cupcake to Aayan

"I don't think So,you know Raliyah is ill I have to go back and prepare lunch for the house and you know I send food to Kamal now so"i explained unpinning my scarf

"Okay ooo,Like being married is the best
But I miss home you know
Especially Fareed.no one to tease me"Fareeda complained

"Poor you"i said sadly

She pouted carrying Aayan on her laps

Time flew and before you know
Kamil himself came to pick us up because he was in a publising house close by

"Bye!thanks for coming"she said waving sadly

And my mind kept drifting to thoughts of Jamila
I don't know why but i feel a connection with her

Could she be my co wife and the feeling is just a sign?

I felt goosebumps so i forced the thoughts out of my mind

THE NEXT DAY

Kamal's pov

"Next patient please"i called loudly

And the door opened

Jamila walked in with a smile

"Ah we see again"i said with a grin

"Are you still feeling the pain?"i asked thoughtfully

"Yes,Doctor Kamal"she replied after sitting on the chair facing me

"I think you should go see Doctor Fauziya in the gynaecology section"i suggested and she nodded

I wrote something on her paper briefly

"Didn't your husband come with you again?"i asked with a skeptical look

"My husband....travelled to the land of no return"she said sadly looking away

"May Allah swt shower his blessings on his soul"i prayed

"Ameen,thank you"she said with a smile

"Don't mention"i said softly

And she got up walking away

Yesterday she was so surprised when I happened to be the doctor attending to her

It's a case of Malaria but again she was three months pregnant

I felt so guilty that i made them check her up again and everything was okay before I prescribed some drugs for her
But seems like it's more complicated that i think that's why I directed her to the gynaecology section

The sound of the door being opened  brought me out of my thoughts and I attended to my patients

After Asr prayers,I was driving to the venue Kamil was releasing his book but i was stuck in a traffic jam
I just hope my twin understands

"I just hope this book will help youths in discovery themselves
It's a self discovery book"i heard Kamil say when I entered the hall
I spotted my family members

Everyone clapped

"As salam alaikum angel"i whispered sitting next to Malak

And her eyes lights up excitedly

"Wa  alaikumus salam"she greeted back

"I am late ,I am sorry but i was caught up in a traffic jam" i explained placing my arm around her chair

"And it's available in every book shop and it's very affordable
That's it,the purpose of this mini book release is to make people aware and also invite people to join a foundation my friend has that helps orphans and widows
It's called sunshine foundation.thank you"Kamil concluded and the picture of his book cover was projected
Followed by Yusuf's foundation social networking addresses

We clapped proudly and people that bought the book from a counter that moment came forward for Kamil to sign their newly purchased book

And some teenage girls were squealing excitedly after he signed the books
They also snapped selfies with him

The place was starting to clear,I was going to approach him to apologise when i noticed a young lady talking to him and he grinned
She is Familiar

"Who is that?"i heard a voice ask near me

"Oh her?"I asked looking at my wife

"She is also a writer,her name is Maryam Waleeda and she is also a well known pharmacist that's another thing about her"I explained with  a smile

"Oh nice you know them all"Malak fired catching me off guard
Oh my little angel seems jealous these days

"Malak you asked am I suppose to act like I don't know?"i asked and she shrugged

"Ah if it is not the perfect couples"a voice called from behind

We turned around

"Are you fighting already?"Aliya asked with a smirk
And we ignored her

"Aliya,are you stalking us?"i asked feeling annoyed

"Nope actually I am a fan of your brothers books
And you two wronged me,you didn't show up at my wedding remember"she replied dramatically

"We are so sorry but we had other things in  life to do than to attend a stalking ex wedding"I blurted

"Or you still loved me" she asked with a raised brow
Malak looked like she could removed her eyes out of her skull

I chuckled shaking my head

I held my wife's hand as we walked away to avoid vain talks

"Thank you for holding him"Malak said collecting Aayan from mother

While I exchanged pleasantries with everyone

"Oh we were having fun snapping pictures"mother said beaming

"Thank you all for showing up,
may everyone be blessed with a family like mine"Kamil said with an appreciative smile after he approached us

And we all smiled at his statement
