"Kamal where is Aayan?"i asked standing infront of him with my hands on my hips

"I don't know"he replied acting suspicious

I was trying to peep behind the couch when Kamal wrapped his arms around my waist and pulling me to his lap.

"Forget Aayan. spend some time with Me,you say you love me but you spend more time with the young man
Is that fair?" he asked with a pout
I giggled at how cute he looked

"Well sorry you feel like that"i apologised placing my arms around his neck

"Did Fareeda tell you she is coming back tomorrow?" he asked smiling

"Yeah but i mean they only spent four days
That's a short honeymoon,I told her"I replied sounding upset

It's been four days since I returned to my marital home
Fareeda and Hashim left for their honeymoon the day I returned home well except they left in the afternoon(they went to Malaysia)
Hashim's Aunty that lives there planned it for them actually

Everything has been going normal
Well except Kamal and I are closer than ever
I can't imagine not sleeping in his arms,he is so caring , sweet and Romantic
Raliyah passed the scholarship examinations Alhamdulilah,she is waiting for the day freshers resume
Kamil is trying to publish a book,almost done

"Malak"a voice whispered in my ear bringing me out of my thoughts

"But then she has school and she's writing examination for 300level.i guess that's why"i added softly

"Yeah"he said grinning

Kamal pecked my lips gently

"Ew!mummy and Daddy"Aayan said in a panic tone getting up

So he has been peeping to see if I have gone so he can escape
And Kamal was helping him.

"So you were trying to distract me so he can keep hiding there?"i asked Kamal feeling annoyed

I pushed his chest softly getting up to catch Aayan

"I thought you love bathing"i said suddenly feeling emotional

"What changed now?Is it because you growing?"i asked again feeling more dramatic

"Mummy"Aayan called pouting
And i carried him immediately

turning around to face Kamal,I said "I will come back and deal with you"

His eyes widened

"Come on!is he a fish that you keep putting him in water three times a day?"he asked slightly nervous

"He loved it!"i exclaimed walking out of the room

"Loved!"i heard Kamal shout

After I gave Aayan a quick bath,i tucked him into bed

"We are going to talk about prophet Musa(As) today"i said carrying the story book excitedly

And he grinned

Some minutes later

"With Allah's help Musa and his
mother were reunited.She was able to look after Musa for a long time and he loved her dearly"i concluded and he yawned mumbling incoherent words
And his eyes closed slowly

I kissed his forehead,switching off the lights then I walked away to our room

Kamal seems to be asleep so i removed my earrings,slipping into  bed

"How can I sleep without my goodnight kiss angel?"Kamal whispered from behind

I turned around to face him

"Really"i asked curiously

"Yes"he said then he pulled me closer

He landed a kiss on my forehead then my lips

I smiled placing my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around my waist

The next day Kamal dropped me off at school before he left for work

"Hope you are ready for the test?"Amina asked
It was a lecture free time so we all settled outside on a bench

"Yes"i replied with a smile

"You?"i asked thoughtfully

"Did you hear the latest gist?"Amina asked excitedly and i shook my head no
"Zainab is getting married"she added smiling

"To who?"i asked suddenly happy for her
Marriage is a blessing

"I asked Ismail yesterday night and he told me to one of their cousins"Amina replied glancing through her lecture note

"Interesting"i said glancing through my lecture note also

"So how are you and your husband?"she asked looking at me when i looked up

"Have i ever told you that you both make a perfect couple?"she asked again

"Yes"i replied with an obvious look

She chuckled then she frowned suddenly

I looked at where her eye direction was and I stopped at some third year guys

"Did you see that tall guy There?he said he loves me.that he wants to marry Me,he even came to greet my mother"she said annoyed

"He even knows your house?"i asked curiously
Did he stalk Her?

"He is my elder brother's friend what do you expect?"she asked again with a bitter smile

"Why don't you say yes?"i asked

She opened her mouth to reply but she stopped when she noticed our friends coming back from the cafeteria

"Hey guys what did we miss?"Rachel asked sitting next to me

Aliyu handed snacks pack to Amina and I
While Ismail handed drinks

"Alot"Amina and i replied in unison

"Well time for a rewind"Rachel said book we shook our heads no

She scoffed slightly pushing us on her shoulders

After the gist,it was time for the test so we all got up and went to the venue

"See you on monday guys"i said with a smile after the lecturer left with her scripts

"Alright babes"Rachel said smiling and the rest nodded smiling

I came across Someone very familiar

And his straight lips curved into a smile

"Finally,i get to see you"he said excitedly

"Mr Imam"i called with teary eyes
Tears of joy

"Yes Malak,i came across your father few days ago before coming to Abuja and he said you are here in Abuja and you have started your nursing.so i had to wait for you to finish writing your test"he explained smiling

Mr Imam was our youngest teacher,he was also my sss three class teacher and my favourite teacher.he is like the brother i never had

"Yes,thank you for being an amazing teacher"i said with an appreciative smile

"You are welcome"he replied softly

"Are you going back to the hostel?"he asked thoughtfully

I shook my head before I replied proudly"No,i live with my husband"

"Husband?"he asked with furrowed brows

"Yes,didn't my father tell you I got married?"i puzzled

"No,our gist didn't reach that area I guess"he replied
"That's good Masha Allah"he added but his smile didn't seem to reach his eyes
I wonder why

"Yes,"i said feeling awkward
"when are you going back to gombe?"i asked suddenly

"Tomorrow I came to Abuja for a conference meeting then I decided to check on you"he replied softly then he brought out a pen

"I have always told you with a pen you can write through a great future.i saw this pen on my here and I thought of my favourite student so i bought it for you"he explained and I collect it excitedly

I grinned then I said"thank you"

And he nodded

I noticed Kamal coming towards us

"There is my husband"i said softly admiring him from afar

Mr Imam turned around and Kamal stopped right infront of us
With a furrowed brow demanding some sort of explanation

"Jealous" i mouthed and he frowned

"Kamal you are here,meet my teacher.the one that encouraged me into writing the scholarship exams,Mr Imam"i explained and his frown turned into a smile

"Mr Imam meet my husband,Kamal"i added

"As salam alaikum"Kamal greeted

"Wa alaikumus salam"Mr Imam greeted back

And they shook hands exchanging smiles

"I really appreciate what you have done for my wife.
May Allah reward you"Kamal said smiling

"Ameen"Mr Imam and I said in unison

And i saw Kamal putting his hands in his trouser pocket

"But now,here accept it as a token of appreciation from me and Malak"Kamal said taking his hand and placing money into his palm

"Please don't reject it"i added when I saw Mr Imam trying to say no

"Thank you"he said smiling

"We are going now"Kamal spok
"Are you also leaving so we could drop you at where you are staying?"then he asked

My husband is so thoughtful I said looking at him like some kind of fifteen years old looking at her celebrity crush

"No i have to speak to a lecturer thank you"Mr Imam said bringing me out of my thoughts

"May Allah bless you both"he added 

"Ameen"we chorused

He walked away and my friends appeared arguing here and there

They stopped when they noticed us

"Thought you left but you are here romancing with your husband at the hallways"Rachel teased wiggling her brows

Kamal chuckled.

"Good afternoon"he greeted

"Gold afternoon"they greeted back in unison

And i noticed Ismail smiling

"That's new"i blurted confused

"What?"they all asked

"Nothing"i replied
Then smiled
Ismail used to just glare at Kamal but im glad he is warming up to him

"see you on monday"i said excitedly 

And we left to our cars

Our favourite teacher that you only heard of in the first chapter
Yeah him
Tohm that's for today
I'm telling you
Malak is coming to an end
But after like five to six chapters
I won't end it without a twist
Maybe Kamal will remarry or one of them will die😈😈😈😈
Please don't fire me 😌😌😌
I'm just thinking out loud
