It's been few days since uncle spoke to me.
Ramadan is starting tomorrow or next.

Mother and father knew about his request but I was the one that told Fareeda and Fareed although I didn't tell them about the condition.
I also told Inna and she said I should go ahead with whatever revelation I see after my Ishtikharah
And she told me she will handle Baba.

"There comes the end of my happily ever after"Fareed said sadly

"Shut up"Fareeda said eyeing him

Ismail also sensed something was wrong but I told him its actually nothing.

The night I did my istikharah,I dreamt so I am going to tell uncle my answer today.

"Hello Malak"he greeted

"Uncle Ali"i called softly after sitting next to Fareeda

"If I am going to help your family,so be it"I said smiling

"So it's a yes?"he asked

"Yes"I replied nodding

"I can't believe you are going to be my sister in law"Fareeda said hugging me

"Gross"Fareed said dramatically

"Fareed!"Mother called

"I mean yay!"he faked enthusiasm

"Masha Allah,your future husband will see you later"Father said

"So fast ?"Mother asked

"They are getting married after Ramadan.a day after eid"Uncle Ali informed

I gasped

"I will get going"Uncle Ali said getting up excitedly

"Iyyeh!I can't belive you are getting married before me"Fareeda said then she got back to typing some thing in her phone.

"Me neither"I said softly

"Let's go get you decked up"Fareeda said putting my phone in her jeans pocket

"No"I cried

"What no!"she exclaimed

She pulled me up and dragged me to the room.
I was just praying Im getting married to the nice one.
Although if he is nice why would he need help?
How do i know if they are not both thesame
Its definitely the one I ran away from.

I am very glad concerning Malak's reply
She is going to guide my astray son
I'm sure

"You called for us?"Kamil asked entering the study room

"Yes,get seated"I said gesturing the seats infront of the desk

"What's up,are you missing us that much old man?"Kamal asked placing his legs on the desk

"What's wrong dad?"Kamil asked worriedly

"You are getting married a day after eid"I said looking at no one in particular

Kamal laughed clapping his hands

"Finally kamil is getting married!"he exclaimed

"I'm talking about you Kamal"I said looking at Kamal and his expression changed

"How do you find it funny now?"Kamil asked his brother with a smirk

"To who if I may Ask dear old man,because I didn't bring any one to you for introduction"Kamal said in an upset tone

"To a girl named Malak.a first year nursing student in my school.she's from gombe"I replied briefly with a smile

"So now you are a match maker for your students?"Kamal asked annoyedly

"She's is a very good soul"I admitted

"Is not about her goodness,does she match up to my reputation?"he asked

"Son,reputation isn't all"i assured him

Why not one of the Abubakar sisters:Amina,the top youngest female doctor or Maryam Walida one of the top pharmacists
Or even Fatima Naseer world best microbiologist
Or Fatima shehu Bustani the renowned neurologist
Why Malak?a normal first year nurse who might be some villager"he shouted angrily

"Because she is perfect for you!she is water, you are fire.she also reminds me of your mom"i tried to

"Is like you are marrying her not me"Kamal said with a simper
I shook my head at his childish behaviour

"Why are you speaking to dad like that?"Kamil asked angrily

"Fine!hope you will be happy when she ruins my life"Kamal shouted getting up

"Fine what?"I asked

"Fine yes!"Kamal exclaimed

"You are going to see her later"I announced

And he walked away mumbling some words

"I can't wait to see my future sister in law"Kamil said with a smile then followed his brother

I smiled sitting back on my sofa.

"I hope you are happy"I said looking at my beautiful wife's picture.

"Stupid wedding!stupid Malak!"I shouted driving

"I like her name"Hashim said from the back seat

"What if you scare her off?"Yusuf suggested from the passenger seat

"Don't even think that!"Kamil exclaimed from the back seat

"Why are you even all coming with me?"I asked

"I'm going to see my future wife"Hashim replied meaning Fareeda

"So that you don't listen to Yusuf and mess everything.dad was sure of her"Kamil replied thoughtfully

"I have already promised for mom's sake"I said
I love my mom
I am not breaking a promise like that.

After we reached uncle Halilu's house but we call him Father

Kamil and Hashim rushed in while Yusuf pulled me aside.

"You want to get married?"he asked looking around

"No"I replied

"Then scare her off,if she says no
Nobody will disturb you"he suggested

"Yes!you are the best"I said happily

When we entered we saw Aunty Furairah but we call her mother talking to Kamil and Hashim.

She honestly reminds me of mom.

"Anty!I feel like kidnapping you and taking you to our house everyday"I said kissing her lovely cheeks while she chuckles

"Liar,you don't even come visit me"she said then hit my shoulder softly

"My mom is going no where"Fareed interupted the moment

"Shut up Fareed"I said and glared at me

"Kamal take Yusuf or Hashim with you to the garden,Malak will come and meet you"Mother said

"I will go with Yusuf"i said immediately

"I'm hurt"Hashim joked

"You preach too much"I reasoned

We followed the back door to the garden and sat on the bench.

"She will run away in no time"Yusuf said smirking

"Exactly"I added and we high fived

"Why didn't you bring Hashim instead of this annoying soul?"we heard a chirpy voice say

We look to the direction and found Fareeda with Malak.

She raised her head up
we had eye contact and our eyes widened.

She is that annoying,stupid,woman rights fighter
There is no way I am marrying a sharp mouth like her!!!

"Bro calm down,this is the perfect way to make her pay.by getting married to her and making her do everything for you"he whispered after seeing me all tensed up
"Make her believe you are not the bad twin"he added

"Wow,Yusuf I wanted to mess up if not for you"I whispered back

"What are you two whispering?"Fareeda asked curiously

"Nothing,excuse us. You and Yusuf"I said softly

Fareeda left after whispering something to Malak
Yusuf followed.

"Hello again"I said
"You look beautiful,i think im in love"I lied

"Drop the act!i know you are the evil twin mr Kamal"she said smartly standing infront of me.

"How?"I asked

"I met your twin brother
And that other guy you were with was with you the other day also"she reasoned

I stared at her then burst into laughs

"You are smart for a village girl"I blurted
"But I think you will be a good wife"I added eyeing her figure

"I have one thing to tell you"she said softly

"What?"I asked with a glared

"Don't fall in love with me"she warned pointing her little finger at me.

"Are you crazy?fall in love with you is the worst thing I will ever do"i assured her

"Very well said"she said with a smirk

I handed her a rose flower and walked away.

The audacity of this small girl! She will regret getting married to me.

I dialled dad's number
The phone rang twice then he picked

"I'm definitely getting married old man"i said

"That's good Son.Allah ya maka albarka (May Allah bless you)"he said in an excited tone and a whipered an AMEEN.

I hung up
With your blessings with me dad,Malak Is going to loose her confidence and she's going to ask for divorce within a week.

"Anga wata! (The moon has been sighted!)Ramadan is tomorrow "a chirpy voice called loudly as soon as I entered the living room following the front down

"Fareeda when will you grow up?"Mother asked

And ofcourse it's Fareeda.I spotted Malak i guess she followed the back door

I glared at her she glared back while the rest Happily discussed.
