COMING UP ON 'MAKING HISTORY'
Truthfully, I have been struggling to write this applyfic. Not because I have lost interest, far from it actually. I have a playlist of songs that I listen to a lot, and some are what I imagine would play in the background of certain scenes if the book was a show. These characters and the plot have a hold over me seriously😂. It's just the actual writing part that is hard. Do you ever have that moment where you just wish other people could just see your thoughts? The storylines play out like an actual show in my head, but are difficult to translate on paper.
I think it's because this story has to have a lot of world building and detail. I know detailed descriptions aren't my strong suit, but the best chapters of this book, in my opinion, are the ones where I have described a lot and shown emotional storylines.
I wanted to publish a 'coming soon' chapter, in the hopes that it would kind of push me to write again. I hope you are all still interested in this series.
Some things listed below may change. Not necessarily the plot points, but the order and maybe dialogue might change.
Is there anything in particular you are looking forward to? Even something that's not listed here?

Astra positioned her crossbow, pointing it slightly lower than her target. She pulled her arm back, letting her fingers gently brush against her cheek as she let go. The arrow soared through the air, landing on the bullseye.
"Wow! That's impressive", said Rhiannon. "I have to be honest, I didn't think you'd hit it when you aimed lower."
"You're not supposed to aim exactly where you want the arrow to go, because arrows don't fly straight", explained Astra.
"How do you know so much about archery?"
"A crossbow actually used to be my weapon of choice when I went out on missions", revealed Astra. "I've always loved archery. With everything that I had going on, I guess I just stopped practising."
"Do you mean training us? Or... what's happening with you and Sophia?"
Astra frowned. "I never should've stopped. But now, well it seems like the perfect time to pick up the bow again", she replied, ignoring Rhiannon's question.

Ashryn carefully poured the liquid onto the grass, spelling something. She pulled out a box of matches, striking one against the side of the box. A flame appeared on the end of the match. Ashryn hesitated for a moment, the flame dancing in the wind. Images of her brothers appeared in her mind, sending a chill through her body. Her eyes darkened with rage. She knelt down and dropped the match onto the liquid, before taking several steps back.

"Welcome to our annual Tech Competition!", exclaimed Calihan. "We always get incredible inventions out of this competition, but I just have to say that this year? The participants truly knocked it out of the park."
Minerva walked over to Rhiannon, a nervous smile on her face. "Wish me luck!"
"Good luck!", smiled Rhiannon.
Minerva grinned, before turning around and walking towards her invention. Rhiannon's smile dropped, a pang of guilt hitting her chest.

"This is not who I am!", yelled Makoto.
Rhiannon recoiled, startled by her friend's sudden outburst.
"Makoto, I'm just trying to prepare-"
"No! You're trying to change me! You're trying to change who I am."
Rhiannon frowned. Her expression changed. Slowly, she walked towards Makoto. She stopped only when there were a couple of inches of space between the two of them. She clenched her jaw and looked into Makoto's eyes.
"And... who exactly is that? I don't think you even know who you are, Makoto."

Sophia stared at the sunset, a sense of calmness washing over her, for the first time since she fought with Astra. She looked over at Olga, who was sleeping. Sophia smiled and rested her head on Olga's shoulder.
