Bani scooted closer to veer. Their naked bodies once again pasted together. Veer caressed her bare back while kissing her hairs. Bani intertwined her one hand with his one hand. The ring he had made her wear on their engagement day shone in the moon light. Bani smiled.

"Veer "

"Hmm.... Bolo sweetheart"

"Remember our engagement day? "

"What about that day? "

"Hmm... You literally pushed this ring in a jiffy and moved away. My cousins scared  me that day saying you are a... You know "

"I know what? " Veer asked. He pushed her slightly to see her face.

"Yeah... Hmm... How should I put it in words.... Yaar they were saying you are a haphephobic" Bani said. Veer looked at her shocked.

"Seriously.... Who were they? Maternal cousins or paternal cousins"

"Jaanke karoge kya? Chodo woh sab"

"For your kind information you started it. Main toh aise hi pada raha tha tumne ye bolke mera mood kharaab kiya "

"Aree mitti paav, mujhe pata hain ki tum haphephobic nhi ho. They were just kidding me. Par ye baat sach h ki main thoda dar gyi thi. Like you know what causes this phobia. I even thought you had gone through a lot in your life and was traumatised. "

"Hmm"

"Aree patidev.... Naaraaz ho? "Bani asked scooting more closer if it was possible. Her front touched his front and it gave rise to his hormones.  He looked at her intently while she reciprocated the same.

" Can we just skip the dinner? " Veer asked pulling her on top of him.

"I would like to have you instead" Bani whispered near his ears huskily.

"Uff sweetheart aur kitna shopping karogi..... Isse acha toh main poore family ko saath main le aata" Veer said. They had spent an entire day for shopping and still bani was not satisfied.

"Hawww don't be so mean veer" Bani said looking at the price tag of an antique piece.

"Yaar..... Itna bhi kya hain dekhne ko... Aur ye sab toh wahan milta hi hain. "

"Toh? ".

" Toh hum wahan se b le sakte h ye. Ye sab kyu le jaana? Kuch different sa dekh na " Veer said. Just then he got a call from his mother.

"Main ye call attend karke abhi aata hoon. If you find anything wrong just call me. Okay? " Bani nodded and veer came out of the shop to receive the call.

"Sach main woh bhool toh nhi gaya hoga na? " Bani asked herself.

"Aise kaise bhoolega woh.. Par ho sakta hain ki bhool gya ho. It's not like he have celebrated this day ever. Ughff..... Ab main kya karoon... Yaad dilaoon? Nhi... Nhi.... Woh acha nhi hoga... I can't say him that it's my bday tomorrow. Uff... I am sad.... Rona aa rha hain mujhe toh " Bani walked to and fro in their room. It had been four days since they returned from goa. Both bani and veer had to work extra hours for three days to make up for their absence.

"Sweetheart... Aree tum aise kyu baiti ho... Light on kyu nhi kiya? " Veer asked. He had just got back home. It was already 9 pm. Bani was sitting in their balcony without turning on the light.

"Aree kuch nhi... Moonlight tha na isliye... Wait. I am coming" Bani said and walked up to him. She stood on her toes and gave him his usual dose of peck. Veer smiled.

"I stink. Let me take bath first. Then hum dinner karenge. Theek hain? "

"Hmm.. Jao"

"Sweetheart you are fine. Right? " Veer asked.

"Haa  haa.. Main theek hoon. Tum jao. Main dinner leke yahin aati hoon. Balcony se karenge. Theek hain? " Veer nodded. He could see that she is upset.

"Sach main theek ho? " Veer asked.

"Aree baba.. Sach main. I am okay . Ab so jayein? " Bani asked. It was nearly 11:30.

"Nah... Neend nhi aa rha. Yahin baitthe haina. I will bring coffee. Okay? " Veer asked. Bani nodded and veer left from there.

He came back after a while with two mugs.

"Hmmm..... Latte.... Wow... Veer you learnt to make it? " Bani asked.

"Of course you loved it right ..that day when di made it... So I learnt it. Taste it aur batao kaisa hain? " Bani tasted it and it was exactly like the one meera makes.

"Ye toh ditto hain veer"

"I know right"

"But how's it possible.... Ek jaise hi kaise bangya? "

"Ingredients usi measure main add karenge toh wahi taste milega na. Zyada socho mat... Just enjoy" Bani felt it suspicious but thought not to ponder upon. As bani sipped the latte and it was almost finished, she could see something written under the glass as it is see through. Bani lifted the glass slowly. She read it and looked at veer who was already looking at her with a wide smile. He leaned closer and kissed her forehead.

"Happy birthday sweetheart" Veer said. Bani hugged him tightly. Emotions overpowered and it came out as tears, tears of happiness. Veer smiled while hugging her back.

As they pulled away from the hug, veer led bani downstairs and bani found their whole family standing there singing happy birthday. Bani looked at veer . He wiped her tears and took her hand in his.

"Come"

The living room was beautifully decorated. Both his and her parents and meera, tapish and jia were there.
Jia, on seeing bani forwarded her hands, indicating bani to take her from meera. Bani took jia from meera and twisted her nose slightly making jia giggle. Bani giggled too.

"Thank you " Bani said.

"Thank you Sab baad main. Ab cake kaat lo. " Balwant said with a smile. She cut the cake with jia still in her hands and veer standing beside her. Everyone fed bani and vice versa. As everyone settled on the living Hall with coffee in their hands, meera sat beside bani.

"Enjoyed latte? " Meera asked.

"Mujhe laga hi tha ki aapne banaya hain. Warna ek jaisa taste kaise aata jitna bhi kosish karle... Thoda difference toh rahega hi "

"He wanted to try but I told him not to. We didn't want you to fall sick on your own bday. " Meera laughed.

"Di... Aap bhi na "

"Baat sahi haina" Meera asked. Bani laughed.

"Karo karo aur buraai karo... Jab behan aisi ho toh dushman ki kya zaroorat" Veer said sitting beside bani, on the other side. Jia was in veer's arms. As soon as she saw bani, she crawled to bani and settled on her lap. Bani caressed her hairs slightly. As Jia left out a yawn, bani rocked her slowly humming lullaby. Veer looked at her lovingly.
