Safina was startled as she heard the knock on the door and ran inside the washroom, leaving Rashiya'a to wonder about her strange behaviour as she opened the door, revealing her sibling,

Fiza.

Fiza came in,  laughing in hysterics, clutching  her stomach as she rolled in bed.

"Care to explain, why the sudden monkey behaviour?" Rashiya'a asked with a frown.

Fiza scowled at her, hearing the word monkey. But a second passed and she was laughing in hysterics again.

"Bhai.. bhaiyya.. " Fiza spoke wiping the tears from her eyes and Safina came out of the washroom, looking scarlet, for she knew what Fiza was about to say.

"It was nothing!" Safina interjected.

"What?"

"How do you know?"

"I..  erm..  "Safina dismissed her thoughts with a wave of her hand. "What were you telling?"

Why was she feeling embarrassed?

Fiza gave her a weird look and burst into laughing again, this time Rashiya'a joining her a second later.

"Do you know the reason, why she is acting as such?" Safina asked.

Rashiya'a nodded and sat in bed, taking a deep breathe and controlling her laughing hysterics.
"It's just that, the way she is laughing... I I can't control."

"Okay, let me tell the reason, before I burst out laughing again."

"Bhaiya thought.. "Fiza started looking at Safina "that you are Rashi didi!"

Oh no!

"What?" Rashiya'a snapped at Fiza with a serious look "He forgot my face?"

There was an eerie silence as Safina looked at the sisters staring at her whilst, she wished the ground to open up and swallow her whole but that didn't happen instead the two Yunus sister's burst into laughing.

Again.

This time Safina Mehek joining them.

"Why are you laughing?" Rashiya'a asked wiping the tears from her eyes and taking a gulp of water from the glass which Safina had bought for her.

"Because..   you.. two  two look hilariously funny laughing like that."

"Anyways, what did bhaiya told you Saf didi!" Fiza asked.

"Ah haan, bolo bolo (say say ) " Rashiya'a joined her sister, Fiza in teasing Safina.

"What? I was coming upstairs and he called me, I mean you, Rashi." Safina said, her cheek turning pink.

"Oh ho.." Fiza dragged the O.

"I will not visit you again, if you don't stop teasing me." Safina snapped as she sat down in bed, her back facing Rashiya'a and Fiza.

"Okay!" Fiza said giving a wink to her sister, Rashiya'a.

"Okay." Rashiya'a agreed.

"Okayyy." At the chorus of two people saying okay, the trio turned towards the door to be greeted by Noushin and Zikra, their best friends.

"Surprise!!" They shouted as they barged in engulfing Rashiya'a and Safina in a group hug.

"You thought, you will handle this alone?" Zikra asked.

"And you," Noushin pointed at Safina, "You forgot who we are, haan?"

"Iam sorry, We didn't want to spoil your days at your nani's home." Safina replied and Rashiya'a  nodded.

"Aww.. " Zikra and Noushin coed hugging Rashiya.

"But we are back now, so let's enjoy!"

"Am I invisible or what?" Fiza asked rolling her eyes.

"Aww.. sorry babes. Come along." Safina said pulling her for a hug and all the other three pounced on them.

"Ugh. I just needed a hug, girls. Not suffocation." Fiza groaned pushing them away and they laughed out in chorus as Fiza stormed out of the room.

"Don't tell me, you told them everything?" Rihab asked looking up from the newspaper as Fiza sauntered in the living room.

Fiza just shrugged and sat on the plush Sofa taking her chemistry book from the table.

"Jhooti(liar)!" Rihab gave her a scrutinizing look.  "Nothing can stay in your stomach, Fiza."

Fiza pretended to read, ignoring her brother.

"Fiza."

Silence.

"Are you deaf?"

Silence.

"It was really funny, bhaiya." Fiza pouted. "And I had a good laugh."

"How can you?"

Silence.

"It was embarrassing." Rihab face-palmed.

"Awww."

"Whats there to aww?" Rihab groaned.

"I mean you are afraid what would saf didi think about you."

"I..   you.  Oh God, "Rihab sighed "your pocket money is cancelled this month." Rihab mumbled as he walked out, not before he heard Fiza gave a loud huff before he heard her echoing laugh.

Zikra and Noushin had left a few minutes ago, as they lived in the same street while Safina was waiting for her brother,  Adeel in the drawing room. 

"It's almost ten, Bhai should have been here by nine or nine-thirty." Safina said pacing around the room, fidgeting with her black veil.

"Keep clam and eat." Rashiya said filling her mouth with the delicious, gulab Jamun.

"Do you realize how many pounds would that ten gulab jamuns be, that you have eaten until now?" Safina asked.

"Nazar laga rahi ho mujhe? (Are you trying to jinx me?") Rashiya'a retorded laughing out loud.

"Iam really conscious when it comes to sweets."

"You weren't!"

"Iam, now."

"Oh ho, why, don't worry Rihab bha.."

Safina ran towards her and kept her Palm on her mouth stopping her from saying anything further.

"Blushing haan.. " Rashiya'a pushed her away and just then there was a knock on the door.

"Safi, Bhaiya will leave you home."

Rashiya'a  came in the drawing room wearing her Abaya and hijab.

Safina's eyes almost bulged out hearing those words.

"Why? I can wait for Adeel Bhai."

"No, let's go. I will accompany you." Rashiya'a said not meeting her eyes, and even though Safina had an inkling that something is wrong, she dismissed it as it was nearly eleven in the night.

Securing her veil behind, Rashiya'a and Safina walked out after saying Salaam to Rafiya and Fiza.

Both the girls sat in the back seat and Rihab drove them off. Rihab wondered whether his sister had told Safina the truth and as his gaze looked at the rear view mirror, Safina too caught his gaze for a split second before they both turned away.

And Rihab knew that she didn't know what had happened.

Safina couldn't clearly understand what she saw in his eyes, but it spoke of something. She was in deep thought that she didn't realize that they were not going in the direction of her home.

How are y'all?

I know this is longest gap between any of my UPDATEs; but I was really caught up in things that I didn't find time to write. And now this small chapter before my internet goes out. Haha.

Hope you enjoyed this one.
