Lola's POV

"I wasn't sure when you were gonna get down here so I grabbed your rifle and gear, all you need to do is check your air cylinder" my boyfriend Riley Matthews says as I'm already opening my case to do so. I pull out the cylinder and see that I'm good on air so i put it back in and shut my case. "Lola you're on second relay point 15" our Coach, Coach Reeds says, so I move my rifle into the hallway. When I get back into the range, I sit on the table. "You okay" Riley asks me leaning against the table next to me. Before I have a chance to say anything; "Lola, Riley go watch for the bus" Coach Reeds says, casing me to get up and head out of the range towards the doors. "Where are you going" Erin asks "It's called you don't have to follow me around" I respond with attitude I didn't even mean to give. "Who are they" Riley asks turning around stopping in front of me. "Jane and Peter aren't my parents, I've been a foster kid for as long as I can remember. I haven't told anyone because I felt like you guys would treat me differently. Those people, her name is Erin Lindsay and his name is Jay Halstead, they're looking to adopt me." I say as we get outside, the bus pulling up to the school. "The bus is here" Riley yells down the ramp, the team slowly making their way up the ramp to help bring in the other teams gear and rifles. "This conversation is not over "Riley says as we head outside.

We finally finished carrying in all of the other teams rifles in gear bags. We do our range very thin and do our thing. "What point are you on?" I asked Riley who sitting on top of the lockers right next to the range. "Right next to you point 14" he responds causing me to remember only 15 of our 16 lanes are working right now. "It's on" I say with a grin on my face, as I can on top of the lockers and set next to him. "You two love birds hungry" Izzy One of our teammates asks standing in front of us with a smile on her face. "Ha ha very funny Izzy" I laugh as I get down from the lockers and head to the snack table, where I grab a water bottle and some carrots. "I've got to go change I'll be back" I say entering the locker room. I sit on the bench. While sitting there I think about how a you're in a half ago my life changed for the better. It was when I went to live with Jane and Peter, but now my life seems to be crashing down before me and I don't know what to do.
