You groan in annoyance as you hear your alarm ringing. You stuff a pillow over your head. Why does school make you wake up this early?! Honestly, you wish you could sleep in. And that's what you decide to do, you quickly dismiss the alarm and go back to sleep. Until you hear a loud honk come from outside your window.

"Bwa-huh? What?" You say confused as you shoot up from your bed.

You open your blinds slightly and look outside. There, outside, parked a huge limo. You felt your jaw drop. It's not everyday a person sees a limo parked in front of their house, you know. Then, you spot Maki, who is looking straight at you with killing intent. You gulp slightly and close the blinds turning to get dressed. After finishing in record time, you step outside to be dragged by Maki into the car.

"What is wrong with you?"she asks.

"Uh...nothing?"

"Then why were you still sleeping?!"

"I'm sorry. "

"That doesn't answer my question."

"I was tired. "

There is a long silence.

"So..." you say, trying to break the silence "Why were you at my house?"

"My dad says that, with your condition, you need someone to look after you, especially when your parents are rarely with you. H-hey, it's not like I have the suggestion or anything..." she says while blushing.

You smile goofily at her causing her to blush an even darker shade of red.

"Thanks."

"I still don't like you, so don't get the wrong idea! Hmph..."

"Okay, okay, I get it."

"Since I have to be with you...and I can't miss practice, you're coming with me. "

"Practice?"

"Yes, for Muse, the school idol group."

"Wait, really?! I saw Rin and Hanayo, but didn't get a chance to say hi yesterday, think you could introduce me?"

"Uh...they don't like you either. "

"Why?"

"For what you did."

"What did I do?"

"It's best if I don't mention it. "

"Oh..." you notice her mood falter and try to change the conversation. "I really like the songs..."

I don't. You hear a voice say, as a shiver shoots down your spine. It's her. So it wasn't a dream either.

Why not?  You ask mentally.

I hate them. She says while hissing.

*Maki's POV*

I notice (Y/N) spacing out and decide to call her.

"Hey, (Y/N)!"

No response.

"(Y/N)!"

No movement. Finally, I lose patience.

"(Y/N)." I say sharply before hitting her in the forehead.

"Huh? Maki?"

"You were spacing out. A lot. "

"Sorry..."

"This is why you can't be left alone. Now, we are at school already." I say grabbing my bag, stepping out the car. I watch as (Y/N) clumsily try to get out. Were her eyes always...(E/C)(⬅eye color) though? Maybe it's just my imagination...but I thought her eyes were (E/C #2).

"Maki-chan?" She asks looking at me. "Is there something on my face?"

"N-no!" I say. What am I doing staring at her? Ugh, she must think I'm weird now...wait, why do I even care?

*Your POV*

You notice Maki spacing out again and sigh. You nudge her and decide to make a joke.

"Hey" You say "I think the one needing someone to stick with, is you. You keep spacing out too."

"Shut up." Maki says unamused, face as red as a tomato.

You grin playfully, then grab her hand and drag her to class.

*Time skip*

Maki leads you to the rooftop as you look around happily, deciding to sit down.

You could hear voices coming from the door as you tilt your head to see better.

"We should take a break today, nya!"

"No, we can't waste our precious practice time."

"Aw, Umi-chan you're no fun..."

"Maybe we could-" Rin stops mid sentence as she turns and looks at you, a scowl etching her face.

The others notice immediately and their faces also turn sour. Nico quickly grabs Maki from beside you protectively as you stand up (ok, I admit I ship Nicomaki...and I just had to add this...).

"What are you doing here?" Umi says with a straight face.

"What?" You ask.

"Don't make me repeat myself, you aren't welcomed here, now go!"

"Wait, I'm the one who brought her here!" Maki says quickly as the others turn towards her in disbelief.

"Why-"

"She lost her memories, and I'm supposed to take care of her."

"Her memories, nyaa?"

"Yes..."

"Fine." Nico says as she let's go of Maki while turning towards you. "But if I catch you with any funny business, instead of 'Nico Nico Nii', you will be facing Nico Nico's Wrath!"

You gulp slightly knowing she's serious.

"Now then" Umi says "We have to get on with practice." They nod as they get in place. You sit down and start watching them as you doze off, feeling a warm breeze blow by.

Suddenly, darkness engulfs you again, and she appears beside you.

Hello again, she sneers at you.

Why am I here?

I trapped you here.

Trapped?

Yes, whenever you aren't focusing, I can easily take over and do whatever I want.

She then disappears leaving you in the darkness. Is this what he meant when he said to not make her in charge? You silently ask yourself running around trying to find a way out. A light appears to your right as you walk towards it. As the light nears, you feel something blocking your way and decide to climb over it. After a huge effort, right when you feel like you can jump over the obstacle,you get pulled back by a pair of hands.

You blink as your eyes adjust to the sudden brightness.

"What were you thinking?!" Maki shouts at you.

"You were scaling the fence, nyaa!"

"If Nico didn't see you, you would've jumped, wouldn't you?"

"Jump?" You look around noticing your position, you were at least ten feet away from your original spot and your body was very close to the fence that prevented people from falling off the roof. "What...happened...wasn't I there?"

"That's what I want to know! What were you thinking trying to climb that fence? We called your names several times you know, but it seemed as if you were in a trance, you were also mumbling to yourself, are you sure you're okay?!"

"That's probably the longest thing I've ever heard you say." You chuckle slightly and look at Maki only to regret it. She was looking at you with a deadly glare.

"Not the time for jokes. And since you can't even keep your own life safe now, you will come to my house today."

You nod as an answer.
