Author's POV

Baekhyun arrived home late in the evening. He had spent most of the day with Kyungsoo and so he was in a very good mood.

“Your father wants to see you” Kris said as soon as he arrived.

Baekhyun went straight to his father's office and found both his parents waiting for him.

“Good evening” Baekhyun greeted them with a bow.

“Where have you been?” His father went straight to the point.

“I was out with a friend” Baekhyun responded with confidence causing his father to take a deep breath.

“I have nothing agausnt your friendship with Do’s son but I have my limits. You're already engaged Baekhyun and…”

“He is just a friend…”

“Even a blind man would know that isn't true” his father said as he threw pictures on the table.

Baekhyun took  glance and they were several pictures of them being intimate somehow.

Kissing in the car mostly.

Baekhyun silently glanced at his parents before looking down. He should have known his father was spying in him.

“So what. It doesn't mean anything. We are just fooling around” Baekhyun said.

“Baek listen. We know that things happen. You're young and maybe along the way you two fell for each other and that's not a bad thing. But you're not just anyone Baekhyun and your life has already been planned out for you. You are engaged to Park’s son. This will benefit both you and the family. Its better to break ties now with Kyungsoo before your feelings get too deep” his mother said with a sad smile.

‘It's too late. I'm already in too deep’ he said to himself.

“I know this is hard but you have no future with him. Let's not fight about this. I will give you a week to sort it out” his father said and Baekhyun was dismissed.

Baekhyun ignored every single person as he headed to his room.

As soon as he was alone he pulled out his phone.

“Hey. Miss me already?” Kyungsoo asked as he answered the phone.

“I missed you the moment we separated”

“Me too”

“Listen baby...I will do it”

“What?”

“The thing you asked me to do. I will do it”

“Are you serious?”

“Yes baby. I will kill your brother for you”

‘It's the best thing I can do for you before leaving you. I love you so much Kyungsoo and I'm sorry’ Baekyun said to himself.

Chanyeol  opened his eyes to be greeted with a bright light and killer headache.

He tried to move but was tied to a chair. He took a deep breath before he relaxed.

“Can the guys be a little bit more gentle next time?” Chanyeol asked.

“Well if you had just come in the several times I called for you then this wouldn't have happened” Mr Park said as he sat on the chair in front of his son.

As usual Chanyeol was being stubborn and his father had no choice but to send some men to kidnap him.

“You know I can easily kill you right now” Chanyeol said as he glared at his father.

“I know that very well but I also know that you won't kill me because that would mean you would have to take your place as head of the family. Something you don't want to happen” his father smirked.

“I hate you so much” Chanyeol said with a defeated sigh.

“I don't understand why you don't want to take over this family” his father said.

“Because I'm a free spirit and being a mob boss will keep me grounded. Just let me be and give me my freedom. So many people leave home after graduation. Why cant I do that?”

“Because you're not anyone Park Chanyeol” his father said it like it was obvious.

“Why don't you just go and make another heir. They are plenty of willing women out there who literally throw themselves at you” Chanyeol suggested.

“That's true but your mother was the only one for me”

“That's funny considering that's she's dead because of you”

“You still blame me for her death. I regret everything Chanyeol and I lost her. I never wanted her dead but I live with guilt every single day. Isn't that enough”

“Not really. Maybe I also need to get myself killed. That way you will be left all alone”

“You wouldn't dare”

“Try me Park” Chanyeol said defiantly and they glared at each other for a minute before Chanyeol burst into laughter.

“I have raised a psychopath” his father said shaking his head side to side.

“I'm glad you know. Anyway whether you like it or not I'm leaving. Let's make a deal though” Chanyeol said with a smirk plaster on his face.

“I don't negotiate with psychopaths” his father said.

“Oh come on daddy. I'm your psychopath. I promise it will be worth your while”

“Fine. What is it?”

“If you find me or catch me...then I will come back and take over the family like you have always dreamed of. But if you don't find me by the age of 30 then I'm a free man and you will have to sort out your own shit. Impregnant some stripper or whatever. Get another heir or give it to uncle” Chanyeol explained.

“And you will marry…”

“Don't say his name because if you do I will get tempted to find him and then I will find out he is beautiful, and then start stalking him and helplessly fall in love with him, and finally do what you want and make you happy, which is not my intention. But yes...I will also marry...him… Deal?”

“You're impossible”

“You and mom made me possible” Chanyeol said and his dad just rolled his eyes.

“Deal” Mr Park said as he stood up to leave the room.

“Please untie me now” Chanyeol said with a smile.

“No” his father didn't even stutter.

“But I asked nicely” Chanyeol pouted.

“I have been bitten enough times to know to never let a rabbid dog loose. Love you son” his father said as he left the room.

“I love you too sperm donor”

And that's what Baek did for Soo and how Yeol ran away from home.
