Oliver knew he needed to talk to Barry as soon as possible. The other night when he'd kissed him, the CSI had run away--probably freaked out--and he hasn't heard from him since. He had to explain himself to the speedster as much as he could without revealing too much as to not scare him off. Again. Oliver didn't know what came over him that night, it was like he couldn't control the urge to kiss him anymore. He had been fighting with himself that whole night to resfrain from kissing Barry but as events have unfolded, it didn't do any good.

When Barry had pushed him away, Oliver saw fear and confusion in his beautiful hazel eyes, emotions that should never be seen on his face at all. He had seen the exact moment when Barry decided to run and didn't try to stop him, knowing that the man needed to be left alone. He needed to be given space.

Oliver shook his head slightly and made his way into the Arrow cave, where he was greeted by Felicity and Roy. They looked up, smiling until they saw his facial expression. Whatever emotion was showing must have been enough to sober them up. Felicity was the first to speak.

"What happened? Is everything okay?"

Oliver debated for a second on telling them a lie but quickly decided against it. "I kissed him, Felicity." He watched her brown eyes widen and continued. "He freaked out and ran and now I don't know if he wants to see me."

"You kissed Barry?" Roy says incredulously and in visible disbelief.

Sighing, Oliver nodded. "We went to the movies and we were leaving and he was just rambling and being his usual adorable self and I was staring at him and I couldn't help it. It was a spur of the moment and I couldn't control myself."

Felicity smiled knowingly. "So you took him on a date?"

Oliver frowned at her, pondering her words. Was it a date? In truth, he asked Barry to the movies as a friend only but deep down he had wanted to take him on a date. It was a friendly invite, a guys night out but the more he thought about the way he felt and acted with Barry that night proved more and more like a date.

Scratching the back of his head, Oliver said, "Yeah, I guess I did."

Roy shot Oliver a reassuring look. "I'm sure that he's probably mulling over the fact that you kissed him. You guys are close, and Barry doesn't seem like the kind of guy to let something like a kiss ruin your friendship."

Oliver sighed. "I know, it's just--"

He was cut off by his phone ringing from inside his coat pocket and reaching in to pull it out, he looked at caller ID. It was Joe West. Curious, he looked at Felicity and Roy before answering. "Detective West?"

"Please, it's Joe." The man sounded breathless, winded and he sounded upset. "I need your help."

"What's the problem?" Oliver asked, his brain instantly running through all the scenarios in his head that would lead to Joe West asking him for help.

"Barry's been kidnapped." Joe stated grimly.

The shock and fear must have showed on his face because both Felicity and Roy asked him what was wrong. Shaking his head at them he raised a finger and said, "How?"

"I'll tell you the details when you arrive. Just. . .please hurry. I don't think we have much time." Joe told him and hung up.

Turning to Felicity and Roy, he said, "Barry's been kidnapped. We need to go to Central City. Now."

Waking up proved to be harder than it should have been for Barry as he opened his eyes. There was a pounding in the base of his skull and it felt like his eyes were being pushed out of his sockets by a powerful force. It hurt to think and there was a stillness in his body that wasn't there at all before. His head was hanging, his chin on his chest. He saw that he was restrained to a chair in the middle of the room and as much as he could see without lifting his head, he was in a dark room.

Barry felt like he was floating but that was impossible when his body felt so heavy. He couldn't think straight but he knew that his wrists were tied behind the chair, making it impossible to get up and run at all. Plus, he was sure he wouldn't be able to make a run for it anyway with how bad he was feeling. There was something across his mouth and he realized with a growing annoyance that it was ducktape.

Lifting his head up, he stiffled a groan and frantically looked around. He had been kidnapped. It reminded him so much of the time Kovacs had taken him except the man hadn't knocked him out and left him in a dark room. Barry spotted a metal door in front of him on the other side of the room and he began to test the bonds around his wrists. He could faze out of the zipties and he tried but for some reason his powers weren't working. And he felt weaker after trying, as if using his powers was draining him of whatever strength he still had.

And then the panic began to set in.

He felt his heart race and his skin crawl when the door opened revealing Korxky. Blinking at the bright light that entered the room from outside, he stared at him as he came closer. Barry glared at the man as he knelt in front of him, the overwhelming feeling of being prey to a predator sinking in fast.

"Hello Barry." Korxky spoke, his voice velvety soft but Barry knew that he was anything but. "I'm sorry things had to go this way but people were getting too close to finding out what I've been doing."

Barry watched him warily as Korxky leaned forward, raising a hand to cup his cheek. A shudder shot through his body and Barry leaned away from his touch. It didn't feel right and this man was a serial killer but most importantly, it wasn't his touch he wanted. Korxky sighed and dropped his hand back to his side, eyes boring deep into his own.

"I'm not going to hurt you, Barry." Korxky told him.

A little too late for that, Barry thought rolling his eyes.

"Come now, don't do that. I did what I had to in order to get you here. I know that you think I'm the bad guy here--"

Barry gave him a look of utter incredulity as if the man was crazy and shook his head. "You are. You're a serial killer." He tried to say but it was muffled under the tape.

Korxky smiled. "Sorry but the tape is there to keep you quiet. And so no one can hear you if you decide to scream."

Barry glared at him, anger in his eyes and he tried to say "fuck you!" but it came out like "phuk vu." Korxky seemed to know exactly what he tried to say and chuckled, only making him angrier. Korxky was close, too close for his own good and out of anger, Barry swung his foot out and kicked him in the stomach. The serial killer grunted and teetered on the balls of his feet as Barry kicked him again, knocking him to the floor. Korxky was back on his feet and it happened so fast, he couldn't prepare himself for it.

Barry was suddenly on the floor staring up at Korxky's face, breathing heavily and deeply through his nose. The position was uncomfortable with his hands underneath him ziptied together like they were. The man had a syringe in his hand filled with a murky gray substance and usually he wouldn't be worried because drugs didn't work on him anymore since he had gotten his speed, but his powers were acting wonky and now he was worried. Korxky straddled his waist and glanced from the syringe to Barry's face, which by this point, the only readable expression there was fear.

"You know what I'm capable of Barry. You know what I've done." Korxky said threateningly. His voice had gotten darker and his eyes harder and Barry found himself shrinking in his gaze. "I did kill those kids. All of them. Right after I had my fun with them but they weren't you. None of them could ever be you. Now, I wasn't going to hurt you but apparently, you need to be taught a lesson."

Barry stared up at him, his breathing starting to quicken and he shook with fear as Korxky lowered the syringe to his neck. He struggled to get free and he felt his heart beat faster. The minute the contents of the syringe were emptied into his system, Barry started to feel funny. He felt numb and then his whole body lit on fire.

Barry screamed, his cries muffled behind the tape.

"So you're telling me that a child predator and serial killer kidnapped Barry?" Oliver asked, his arms crossed as he leaned against the wall inside the cortex at STAR Labs. "And this same person, Mikaiel Korxky, had photos and information about Barry inside his apartment tacked onto a wall?"

Joe nodded grimly. "The man was stalking him. It seems that it started after his mom died 11 years ago."

"You're kidding?!" Felicity and Cisco exclaim at the same time.

"I only wish I was." Joe said, shooting a look at Eddie who had his arm around Iris' waist, trying to comfort her. It made sense why, Barry was her brother after all. "He knows all there is to know about Barry."

"So he has this huge fucking shrine of Barry? And photos that he should never have been able to get unless he was following him?" Roy relays, trying to understand.

"Does he know--does he know that Barry's the Flash?" Caitlin's voice is so quiet Oliver has to strain to hear her.

"No. Which just means we have to find Barry sooner than later, lest Korxky figures it out." Eddie states. He looks at Oliver. "That's where you come in."

Oliver nodded already suited up. He pulls his hood up and says, "Let's go find us a speedster."

Barry woke up gasping and shaking in pain. It took a few moments for him to get his bearings straight and he could still feel shockwaves of pain coursing through him. He was so out of it, he didn't see the serial killer kneeling by his side until he leaned over in his field of vision and grinned.

"Did you learn your lesson?"

Barry just closed his eyes and started to cry.
