Hostage
I can't believe this.
I can't believe that I'm here again.
But I am here for a purpose.
A good one.
For Bebe.
Here I am, all alone again with that white hallway in front of me.
After breakfast, we went our own separate way according to the plan: Wayne the spy, Lace the guard, and me?
Me...the hero.
With a deep breath in, I sauntered through the hallway, letting it guide me with the straights and turns. My footsteps mimicked my heartbeat: loud and fast. Where would she be? I looked around seeing the whiteness around me. In a dungeon? Or with Pierre? No, no, no, she can't be with Pierre--I don't not want to bump with that guy again.
I wiped my sweaty hands on my jeans. I felt the pressure pressing on my shoulders the further I went down the hallway, making me feel like as if I was hunchbacked, even though was walking straight up; I felt fear growing in me. Why am I afraid? Is it because of Pierre? Well, yeah... But what can he do? What harm can he do? I have powers. Ohhh...he has telepathy... But I can beat him. If I want to. Just do this--for Bebe.
Then I heard footsteps echo behind me. I halted, wondering who was coming up from behind me. "Lace?" I called out.
"Nice guess," a familiar voice answered from behind me. "Try again."
I knew who was behind me. I made a sharp turn and blasted a big shot from my gun-hand at Lance. He deflected it with his blade, making it bounce back at me. I ducked to the ground quickly, dodging the blast.
"Nice move," Lance commented coolly.
I peered up a him. "Same with you."
I was about to get back up when Lance suddenly shoved me back onto the ground. "What the hell?!" I turned over, tripping him with my feet. I scrambled up to my feet and placed my foot on Lance's back so that he wouldn't get up "Lace!" I yelled. "Erik! Leifsson, where the hell are you?!"
As a response, a thick ribbon of water wrapped around my waist. Then I was thrusted backwards, slamming my back against someone that was behind me.
"Sinä tulet minun kanssani," I heard Andrew whisper into my ear. You're coming with me.

"Oh, Toosk, Toosk, Toosk... Here we are, once again." Pierre turned around, looking at me. "Why do you keep on doing this?"
We were in the lab, the same old lab that got me here in the first place. I was cuffed to a metal slate that was perpendicular to the tile floor and while ceiling. Pierre was pacing around me with his hands clasped behind his back in a sophisticated manner.
"Where's my wife?" I demanded, ignoring his question.
"Oh, so you know that I took your wife."
I shot him a flat look. "It was obvious. Very obvious."
"And you also thought that it was obvious that getting your wife back was gonna be easy, right?" he shot back at me in a taunting manner.
I just glared at Pierre with narrow eyes.
"Well, it was easy knowing where your wife's at, but the hard part is getting her back. Now that's extremely hard that you know where she is, yet...you just can't get her," Pierre finished off in a pity-filled tone.
"Give me back my wife! Nyt!" I shook myself against the restraints, like as if that would get Bebe back. Now!
Pierre gave me a disapproving stare, halting next to me. "No," he spat out. "I won't. Unless..." His voice faded off.
"Unless what...?"
"Unless you give me yourself." He held out his hand towards me.
My eyes flew open. "NO! No, no, no, no, no!" That was all I was able to say.
"Okay, that's fine." Pierre pulled his hand back to himself. "You'll just not have her back." He resumed with his pacing.
Then another question drifted into my mind: "Why me?!" I shouted at the room, since I sensed Pierre rounding behind me. "Why are you doing this to me?"
"Because...," I heard him begin to say.
"I don't even know you! Here I was, just enjoying my life and then you just come over and trash it! Why are you destroy me like this?!" I craned my head to make eye contact with him.
He walked into my view, halting by my side. "I am more related to you than you think," he answered seriously.
"How?"
"Because..." He leaned closer to me. "...I'm your brother."
My eyes widened, not expecting that answer. "You? My brother?! Valheita! All lies! How?!" Lies!
"I just am." Pierre shrugged. "My father favoured you and my mother favoured me. One day, they got into a fight because of their favoritism. You were one back then. They ended up getting divorced..." He gave me a cold stare. "...thanks to you."
"What?! Me?! What did I have to do with tha--"
"Without you, my parents would've still been--"
"It's not my fault that your parents ha--"
"Hijaa, Mjalmersson!" Pierre bellowed harsh. He then calmed down quickly, hissing out: "Just. Shut. Up." Shut up, Mjalmersson!
There was silence for a moment.
"It's over now," he stated tranquilly. "And now I'm doing all of this because--"
"I unknowingly ruined your life?" I cut in sarcastically and loudly. "Pierre, this is stupid! Why are you spending your time--"
"You also killed my daughter!" Pierre interrupted in harshly.
I was taken aback. "What? How?"
"When you battle against that robot that was once a girl. You remember?" He glared at me deeply.
I then made the connection. "That's your...daughter?" Just knowing that he had a family was news to me.
"And you abandoned my son," he finished off seriously with a low tone.
I began raising my voice: "Why did you even--"
"ETKÖ JUURI KUULE MINUA?" Pierre roared. "I told you shut up!" DIDN'T YOU JUST HEAR ME?
"I don't respect you," I snapped with calm tone. "And definitely I won't listen to you." I then directed my magnetic powers toward the cuffs. With them, I tore the two cuffs off from my wrists, then thrusted them at Pierre.
Two beams of light emitted from Pierre's hands, blasting at the airborne cuffs. Once the light ceased, the cuffs splattered onto the ground as melted metal.
I stepped off the slate, activating my gun-hand, aiming it a him with a serious look. Shoot. A ball of blue energy shot out from my gun-hand, straight at him.
Pierre levitated his white/yellow, glowing hands at the ball, somehow halting it in mid-air. He made it spin back around, then he blasted it straight at me.
I had no time to react: It engulfed me, taking over my vision with wispy streaks of blue and white. Oh shoot, I killed myself, was all I thought at the moment.
Suddenly, the energy dissolved from my sight, giving me back my clear vision. I then began to feel it absorb into me; I felt more strength as my body was taking in all the extra energy. Yes...
A smirk grew on my face as I caught Pierre having a small, horrified look. "Thanks..., bro." I emitted a blue energy disc, intending for it to go to Pierre. Instead, it went far right. Yikes, I need to practice my aim.
Before I was able to conjure another one, pain began to sweep through my mind along with sharp noises. "Ugh--!" I clutched onto my head and collapsed to my knees. Not this again... I wasn't even able to think for too long. I squeezed my eyes shut and stuffed my face in my lap.
"You're gonna lose," I heard Pierre say, loud and clear over the straight sound. "You either don't get Bebe or you get controlled by me. There's no other way."
Then I felt the agony diminish. I slowly gazed up in curiosity.
I was no longer in the lab with Pierre. I was at a beach during sundown: The sky was very red with splashes of orange and pink with a calm horizon. I got up, sensing the soft, warm sand underneath my bare feet. The warm wind flowed through my hair and the waves calmly met the shore.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" I heard a voice say next to me.
I looked to my left to see who talked.
There was Bebe, looking as beautiful as the sunset. If not, more.
"Yeah." I placed my hand in my pants' pocket.
"Let's go"--Bebe held onto my free hand-- "to the hotel."
I shot her a bewildered look. "Hotel? Why a hotel? Aren't we close to our house?"
Bebe chuckled while giving me a sheepishly smile. "Oh yes, right. It's right behind you." She turned around and pointed behind me.
I turned around and sure enough was our house, looming down at us. Then the though that our hosue was burned down crossed my mind. "Wait, our house can't be here." I peered down at her.
"Why not?" Bebe placed her hands on my shoulders. "You wanted our house, right?"
"Yeah, but...it's burned down. It's gone."
She giggled a bit. "No it's not, silly. Not here."
Not here? I gazed beyond Bebe, getting lost in the ocean. I had a bad feeling about this: Bebe was acting weird, the house is now back up...everything seems...too perfect.
Perfect. Then I remembered Lace telling me that Pierre brings you to another world--a perfect world. This is all made up. I don't belong here. I need to come back, come back before Pierre makes a mess out of me.
I reverted my sight back at Bebe. "Good-bye." Then I pulled away from her and ran by her, sprinting toward the ocean.
"Toosk!!!" I heard her cry out from afar. "What are you doing?!"
I'm escaping, that's what I'm doing. I just ignored her and letted myself drown, drown myself back to reality.
I awoke with a sharp gasp. I found myself on my back, laying on the cold floor of the lab.
Surprisingly, I felt better, better than before I went to that fake, perfect world of Pierre's imagination.
"Miten?" How?
I slowly sat up and turned myself around; I spotted Pierre knelt next to a corner, looking down.
"How did you...escape?" He sounded like he was about to cry.
I smirked. "I just...know."
"UGH!!!" He thrusted a ball of light at me in frustration.
I just threw myself back down, dodging it. I then let a moment pass by.
"So..." I sat back up. "since I practically defeated you..." I faced him again." ...where's Bebe?"
"She's..." Pierre gazed at me with a deadly look. "...next door."
