———— "BUENOS DÍAS, LAV!" Elena said cheerily, tapping her alarm clock off with one finger.
Lavender rubbed her eyes, sighing quietly. "Morning, E,"she replied, smiling brightly.
Elena grinned, pulling out a bag. She threw it over to Lavender's bed.
"What's this? And why?"The fairy asked.
The Madrigal laughed from her bed. "Just open it! And because you're my best friend! You deserve it!"
Lavender smiled at the comment. "Okay,"she nodded slowly, opening the bag. They gasped, pulling the light green dress out of the bag. She squealed, grinning. "It fits around my wings!"
Elena nodded. "I know! And I embroidered little fairy wings around it! And it sparkles!"
Lavender leapt up and tackle-hugged Elena. "You're the best friend ever!"They squealed, standing up and holding the dress up to her body. She ran into the bathroom at lightning fast speed and changed, before coming out and twirling.
"Ah, amiga, Matthew will like you even more now!"Elena teased, giggling.
Lavender blushed, looking down and playing with the flowers at the end of her braids.
"Now let's go! It's Saturday, we have a whole 48 hours of fun ahead of us!"Elena exclaimed, grabbing Lavender's hand. The two skipped outside together.

Joey laughed at Max.
"You're so serious. Chill, Max, we're friends with the AKs now,"he laughed, nudging her.
Max glared at him. "I'm not. I don't care what Mal or Evie decided."
Sil sat down across from them, and Joey moved so that he had room. "Yeah, same."
"You just don't like Mal,"Joey said.
Sil shrugged. "True."
Max rolled her eyes. "Oh god,"she groaned. "Hide me."
"Why?"Joey asked, looking at her.
"Wonderboy is coming."
"You like that kid secretly, I know it,"Sil said. "You two sit next to each other in, like, five classes."
"I didn't choose that!"Max defended, throwing her arms up in the air.
Joey laughed again. "Max, you're gonna make me run out of laughter!"
Max punched his arm and then looked at Sil.
"Hey, that hurt!"Joey whined, rubbing his arm.
Herkie ran the last couple steps towards them.
Joey grinned at Max and then he and Sil walked away.
"Hi, Wonder-boy," Max said sarcastically, pulling her hair out of her face.
"Hi," Herkie grinned, crossing his arms.
Max looked at him, her eyes wide. "How can anyone possibly always be so happy?" she whispered to Joey and Sil.
Herkie heard the comment, but chose to ignore. "Max. Uhm. The project. In History of Magical Lands. I'm having trouble."
"It's on Mount Olympus!"
Joey and Sil looked at the boy in front of the three VKs.
Herkie looked at a loss for words.
"Whatever. Yeah. I have time after school."
"Tourney."
"You play tourney?" Sage asked, strutting into the scene.
". . . .Yes? Is that so hard to believe?"
The four teens across from him exchanged glances and sent back a collective yes.
Herkie huffed a little. "Tourney finishes at 4:50. I'll text you."
Max nodded a little, giving a small wave with her fingers as he waved enthusiastically and ran off. The girl gave a small little laugh, shaking her head.

Eliana Deavor sat in the tech room, clicking away at a program. Oliver ran in, shaking the girl from behind.
"Holy crap!" she screamed, standing up and pushing the chair right into Oliver's legs.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry!" she said, helping the boy up.
"It's okay. I was just here to tell you that Ali was talking about you."
Eli's cheeks went red as she sat back down. "Good for her. I'm awesome."
"Or you're an idiot."

Lorenza sat by herself, humming a little tune and drawing out a vespa in her notebook. Reyla walked over, sighing.
"Anything to say, warrior girl?"
"Mal."
"Is the love of your life?"
"She is in love with Ben Beast."
"So? Win her over. You're literally a warrior princess."

Mattie looked at the books in the library, climbing a small ladder to reach a thick book.
Elena was pushing Lav into the library, while the fairy leaned against her friend, trying to resist.
"Oh, Mattie!" Elena sang, jumping a little. "Just look at Lavender! Doesn't she look amazing?"
Mattie looked between the two younger teens and tilted his head. "Are you okay? Did your aunt say you were wacky or something?"
Elena huffed. "I am not 'wacky or something'. And no."
Mattie shrugged. "Well, yeah, I mean it's Lavender. She's a fairy. She practically glows in everything."
Elena grinned as Lavender blushed.
