There was a certain legend, a legend that has been passed down to generations to generations. Yes, a legend that might come true this very holiday....

The night of the dead..

Halloween..

They say at the strike of night, two voices would roam and hunt people down and posses their bodies to get their own. Many have said the legend was true, while the others said nothing because they were dead.

Is this story true? Well, half of it is true..

But this is the true story..

Children and teens run around the neighborhood getting candy by trick or treating non stop, they were just minding their own business.

But everytime they pass an old abandoned house, they would suddenly feel as if their life energy got drained out of them. The sun finally came down and howls of beasts and bats from somewhere dark roamed the neighborhood scaring the children making them run around.

But everytime the sun sets at this time of holiday, the atmosphere would get uneasy and the old abandoned house would disappear.

Near that house was a cemetery, there were two statutes there. One had a S on the gravestone while other one had an A, the howls of the beats of the night echoed through the area and two hands came out of the ground.

A voice so cold and dead groaned as the body rose up revealing its lifeless face to the world once again.

"It's that time already?" The undead said, he looks around and saw his gravestone. "Ahh, it's good to see that it's still intact after all these years of being dead" he said as he fully stood up patting the dirt away from his tore up suit that he wore during his burial.

He made his way to the other statue as if he was waiting for something to come out. While waiting he looked at his hands, his left still had some skin left while the right was full on bones. He sighed as he knew how long it was since he died.

He looks down to ground raising an eyebrow as he did "Are you okay down their?" He asked to something, a feminine groan could be heard from below but it was out of frustration.

"Can you help me? I can't stand up"  The boy laughs as he digs out the dirt and found a girl who had an annoyed look on her face "Just so you know, I am still strong even after all these years!" The boy reaches out for her to grab his hand or what was left of it, the girl grabs it and the boy pulls her up but the girl accidentally detached his arm when she was on her feet.

The girl laughs and the boy did aswell.

"How long has it been? I can't imagine you being bony" The girl smirked as she pokes him on the stomach "I guess it's been 200 years since we were actually "alive" and now you said I'm hungry" his stomach growled, but this caught the two in surprise.

"How the heck is your stomach still intact?! Aren't you dead!?" The girl exclaimed laughing extremely loud even if they were still at the cemetery.

"Hey! Serena that's not funny!" The boy pouts, Serena stops laughing and smiled at her "friend".

"C'mon! You know I'm just kidding Mr. Glutton" she punches him lightly, but forgot she still had his arm she punched nothing but the air.

"Oops, sorry. Gonna sick it back now" She puts his arm back to where it should be and the two made their way to the entrance of the cemetery.

But unfortunately for the two, the gate was closed and was locked.

"Awww!! How are we gonna get out now Ash?" Serena looks at him with a pout, Ash then thought of solutions to get out, but it was taking too long that Serena thought of something first.

"Got it! C'mon here a sec Ashy~" Ash went beside her and she rips his ribs out of his stomach and took some bones out aswell. She tied them up like a rope and she tied the end of it with the bone looking like rope with a sharp grappler on the end of it.

She lunched it and the boned managed to get stuck on the top and she climbed up and jumped down to the other side. She looks at Ash who's jaw dropped, literally.

"What?" She asked like it was just nothing but normal "SINCE WHEN DO YOU KNOW HOW TO DO THIS?!" Ash exclaimed, Serena giggles "We're dead silly, it's not like it hurt you or anything" She pointed out "But still, it's..weird" Ash mumbled, he made he way to her by doing the same thing and he retrieved his now ripe like rib back.

He pouts at Serena "Don't do that infront of the humans please" Serena nods "Duh, it's not like it's the first time we got out like this! Besides, I wasn't technically a human when we were still alive!" She exclaimed, Ash chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I know, and even how many years it has been you still look cute even at the most scariest night of all' Serena blushed at his comment, but could she help it? They were boyfriend and girlfriend after all.

"Thanks Ashy..but you know" a smirk appeared on her face and so did Ash "Yes Serena?"

"Wanna scare the living lights out of our great great great great greeaaaaaatt grandchildren?"

"Why yes, yes I would" The two laughed evily as they walk towards their destination hand in hand.

Many screamed in fear as they saw the two. Many had faint. Many thought they were just wearing some makeup, but what did they no know was that..

The two save the wo-

I mean..

The two were already dead, and once the day strikes. The two will have to go back to their graves and once again sleep until the next Halloween.

It was indeed the night of the undead, as the two scare people giving the whole neighborhood a good scream in fright.

This was the legend

And it was indeed true

So, me and Ryan actually wrote this xD

Wanna know how we did it? Well, one paragraph was actually switched. Like for example, I finish a paragraph I would give it to him to make the next one.
