Makas pov

I was still being dragged by Ellis to the house. Then I heard a hiss.

I turned around and rollo was hissing at the boy with white hair and red eyes. What was his name again? Oh soul yeah that's it.

He kicked him with his foot and that got me mad. "Hey leave him alone!" I yelled getting away from Ellis is grip and running to rollo. I picked him up and made sure he was okay.

"Jerk! That was so mean!" I yelled. "Hey he scratched me!" He yelled back. I walked away with a hmp sound and walked inside the house with rollo. Ellis show me to my room.

It was a nice small room I could work with it. I set my stuff down and took out a book I had taken with me. I read until Ellis called out it was dinner time. I sat next to soul it was the only seat open.

"So maka tomorrow you will go to school with soul I already made all the arranges" she said. I smiled. "Thank you for everything" I said.

"Oh it's nothing" she said. "Why are you doing this?" Soul said his eyes coverd by his bangs. "What do you mean?" Ellis said not understanding.

"Why are you praising her when you should be scolding her for leaving her father like that!" He yelled with an angry expression. I shot up from my seat. "You don't know him so don't talk!" I scolded.

"No all fathers care I hate people who think no one cares for them but they don't" he said also getting up towering me. "Not my family" I said. "Yes they do you're just to blind to see it" he said.

"Would a father who cared have a terrible job won't make money to let there child go to school and bring home sluts every night!" I yelled loudly.

He stood there not answering. I walked off and locked myself in my room. I layed in my bed angrily. Minutes later the door burst opened.

I looked and saw soul. "Sorry I shouldn't have burst out like that can we be cool?" He said. I smiled at least he's trying. "Yeah we're cool" I said.

He smiled. "See ya tomorrow" he said. "See ya" I said back. I layed in my bed and thought about soul.
