Om kept a cap on Gauri's head...it was black and in white lettering, it said 'friend'. 

Gauri: thank you.

Om: arre don't say thank you, remember in friendship the word sorry does not exist and the word thank you does not exist.

Gauri smiled.

Gauri's POV:

Every girl has this male friend who is just a friend but then the whole universe thinks that they are not just friends. I mean Harry Potter and Hermione were just friends, Mary and Dickon were just friends, Lee and Elle were just friends, so whose to say that a boy and girl can't be friends without any romantic feelings whatsoever...right?

I guess I was wrong.

Om hugged Gauri and she hugged him back...she really did fit perfectly in his arms. He kissed the top of her head and continued to hug her...

Om's POV:

When I first met Gauri, I told her that a boy and girl can be friends with no feelings attached....I guess I lied.

Now for my love, for her, I need to prove myself that I am worthy of her.

I know that Om is worthy of me, I know that he is perfect, I wish my dad could understand.

Om: but think about it Gauri, when we get marry, have our own kids then? Clothes, school, food... I can't live on my dad's money. What will our kids think of me? If they get asked in school about what their dad does, what will they say? That their dad doesn't work, he lives on his dad's money? 

Gauri: you have a point, will you still meet me here in this place every evening though?

Om kissed her forehead, saying: promise.
