At the very next morning preekar s wedding rituals begin one after another. ...sumo did everything at her level best to satisfy kamini chachi. ...even though, kamini was fuming against ramnath that he had spoilt his pushkar s life against the Tiwaris. ..she never like preethi yet she tries to accept her only for her pushkar. ...always she wanted to revenge ramnath , she wanted  him to go through with  the same pain. But  ....what happened to this shravan nowadays. .He curled himself to  his own world. ..He hardly joins the family dinning. ..He glued to the work always as if he wanted to be occupied with. He prefers to be alone somehow. ...He didn't even speak to ramnath as well for the past five days. ...

     Kamini was roaming around in the room. ...it's pushkar s marriage today. ..kamini  was watching shraman keenly for the past days. ..They both had a mechanical gestures when ever they meet. ....It was not casual as it was like before. ..this sudden change mean something. ..

  
    Vandi entered the room with  enthusiasm "  mummy ji. ...how do I look. ...see. .my designer dress....am I  looking gorgeous. ...(after seeing  confused  kamini ). ..mummy ji. ..look at your face. ...how tensed. ..what happened mummy ji. .?"

   
     "Oh. .vandi puthar. ..u look gorgeous. ..ok. ..leave me alone now "

         Hearing this vandi s face turned down. ...and kamini was concerned with her. ..

    "Vandi. ..I am  thinking about shravan and sumo. ..I wanted them to be together. ..things were quite well after sumo s accident. ..but what happened after that. ..I tried to make them work together for pushkar s wedding...but shravan  engage himself with pushkar s clients. .so  he escaped from my plan. ..always he was out of the town...obviously this is because of the cases that he handled. .."

    "But. ..what s the need of all those. ..as for as I know shravan is not in good terms with ramnath bhai sab too. ..He was physically present in all the wedding rituals. ..something is there. ..let me try to get that. ..."

    "Ok. ..vandi puthar. ..time to go. ..its our pushkar s wedding "

   The malhothra clan started with bang band to hotel venue for wedding....shravan looked handsome and charm in black traditional kurthi. ...After all black s his favorite and suits him perfectly. ..

    Tiwaris were at the doorstep to welcome malhothras. ..shravan s eyes wandered in search of sumo. ..she came with the aarthi plate. ...she was in a red traditional attire with  simple makeup  that made her so elegant and dazzling. ..shravan s breathe doubled and he hide himself by turning other side. ..

    After the  Welcome session. ..the rituals started. .. shraman were standing at the opposite sides. ..They  stared at each other when the meaning of rituals  were told to the newly wedded couples in terms of love, trust, care, equality, adjustment  and so on. ..

     shravan could not control him anymore. ..He gasped for air ...His eyes were brimmed with tears. ..He felt a throbbing pain because of the rejection. ....He immediately came out and drove away to home. ...This was noticed by not only sumo but also by kamini and ramnath. ...

Pushkar s wedding was over and Tiwaris made it upto the status of malhothras to pacify only kamini chachi. ...and preethi got along well with malhothras. Even kamini started to accept her as her bahu. ..but  shravan s  attitude was the same as before. This made ramnath so depressed. After all , shravan is his only son. ..whatever he has till now  meant for him only. .whatever he has done for shravan is aimed only his joy and satisfaction .anyhow he wanted to discuss this with shravan today. ..

     It was a Sunday, shravan woke up late. ..He came downstairs and saw the whole family at the hall. ...
Shravan loved the way they spent happy hours as a family. ..He sighed in a thought that he never meant for the same. ...

   "Beta..."Ramnath called shravan hesitantly. .."If you are not busy.. .shall we  talk. .?"

   "I don't have anything to talk with you. ....let me stay alone. ."

   He turned to leave. Being known for politeness, the whole family stunned with shravan s behaviour. Kamini came in front of him. .."shravan  puthar. ..what is this. ..This is the way u talk to your father. ...."

    Pushkar :  bhaiya. .what happened. ..is everything alright. ..I thought you were stressed because of the cases. ..I am afraid that you have other problems too. ..

Ramnath : (  came closure to shravan ) beta. ..l have only you as mine. ..what bathers you much. ..I wanted you to be happy ...

   "Enough. ...enough "

Shravan s anger bursts out. ....He turned and looked Ramnath .His lips trembled with rage. ..

Shravan : wanted me to be happy. ... (displeasing laugh )you snatched everything from me. ...my mom. ..my childhood, happiness...and my sumo  who was the everything in my life. ...because  sumo is a selfish girl and she not even cares her family when it comes to her self respect. ...is it so. ..?(increased his tone a bit )is it so. ..?papa. ..i see
You as a selfish greedy man than anyone. ...want to know how I know everything. ...just recall the day you met sumo. ....

On the day when sumo was getting ready to meet shravan. ...she just wanted to call shravan to inform that she is on the way. ..she started the call, and before that door was knocked. ..sumo unknowingly put the phone aside by seeing ramnath. ..but she never knew that the call was attended by shravan. ..at first, shravan was startled to know ramnath s presence at Tiwari killa. ...then he wanted to prank sumo so he stayed on line. ...

Sumo :   ( surprised at his visit )uncle. ..regarding pushkar s wedding, every thing is going well. ..Thank you uncle for making this to happen. ..Every body so happy. ..

Ramnath :  (in a  threatening voice )that depends on your decision sumo. ..preethi s wedding and your family s happiness.

Sumo :   ( questioningly ) uncle. .what do you mean. ..what I have to do with. ..?

  Ramnath :   suman. .I know you are intelligent. ..I know that shravan loves you  and  you too love him. ...but I don't want you in shravan s  life. ..

Suman got surprised by his thoughts and looked at him with teary eyes. ..

Ramnath : I don't want another nirmala in my family. ..she had her self respect and I just thrown her out of shravan s life. ..even now she yearns to be with shravan. ..but I never let that happen. ..nirmala ahuja. ...no. .no. ..she is still nirmala malhothra. ..right. ...(Laughed ) 

   Shravan will listen only to me. ..so. ..stay away from him. .and suman. .I hope the wedding expenses will be high. .take this blank cheque in turn of ur decision. .."

  Sumo : uncle. ..you have proved that you are a good lawyer. .yes. ..I do have self respect but not at the cost of my family. ...uncle. .I had two dreams in my life. ..One is to clear my mother s loan and the other is to tell shravan that I loved him. .I missed him a lot. ...I too mean shravan s happiness. ..as  you said. ..I stay away from shravan for preethi s wedding and my family s happiness. ...but our friendship is  years old. ..I can't hurt him by breaking that. ...I will be his friend always. ..uncle. ..Please take this cheque back. ..

Lala ji called sumo to MM. ..she was confused to see all the family members worried. ..specialy  the devastated ramnath. ..by seeing sumo. ..ramnath ran towards her. .."Beta. ..I did completely wrong to
You. ..get my shravan back. .Please. .I m so sorry for whatever I did to you. ..Please get my shravan back. ..Please "

Sumo still in a confusion. ..and lala ji explained her everything. ..

Sumo went to shravan s doorstep and told him to open the door. .. " shravan. ..open the door. ..I won't go anywhere till you open. ..open the door shravan. .Please "

    After a long pleading, shravan opened the door. ..sumo went in and closed the door.

  Shravan :   (anger in his voice ) why you came here. ..just get lost  I say. ..I want no  one. ...I deserve nothing. .get out now. ..

  Sumo : ( looking him lovingly ) Shravan. ..look at me. ..you are the price of this house. ..you deserve everything. ..your family loves you much. ..your father meant only your happiness. ...

Shravan :   what. ...my happiness. ..what he did for me. ..He snatched my mother in my childhood. ..I longed for mother's love and affection. ...nobody loves to be alone at that age and I meant to be all alone. ...I lost my childhood happiness, support and care from my mother. .I love my mom. ...I miss her so much. ..

  Shravan s anger turns into a loud cry. ..poor shravan sobbed in need of love and care that he had lost at his childhood. ..sumo ran to him and hugged tightly. ..she made him to sit and made him to lie on  her lap. ..to console the grown up child. ..she ran her fingers into his hair. ..and tapped his back. ..to support him. ..

Shravan :  Sumo  . . . He didn't stop with that. ..He separated me from you though he knows that I loved you very much. ..and what did you do. ..?

    Shravan got back from sumo suddenly. ...

   Shravan : Sumo. ...what did u do to me. ...you too  abandoned me. .
. ..nothing good for shravan.(laugh ed devastatedly ) ..I loved you. .damn it. ..did you hear me. ..I Loved you. ..  what did you say. ..I am only your friend and you need a life partner like me...not me. ...

Sumo : shravan. ..the situation made me to say that. ..try to understand pl. .

Shravan : situation. ... don't you have trust on me. ..you could have shared papa s issues with me. ..i trust  you  but you didn't. ..I was waiting from the coffee shop till today...but you never had a talk on that. .do you know the pain I went through. ....

Shravan hugged her tightly. ...tightly. ..tightly. ..He kissed her frantically. ..

  They both came to the world when  they went out for oxygen. ..
