"But we have to wait for Reader before going into the case, Hero."

"Seems like Reader is already here guys."

"B-but Narry isn't back yet! What if something happens to him like it did to MC?"

"There's something fishy about all of this anyways."

"It's just an idea, but what if Narrator is the reason Mackenzie is like this? I mean, he can practically manipulate us."

"Guys, calm down. Nois, sorry, but thats really ridiculous. You don't even have any proof on that."

'Oh, is Reader already here?'

"Narry!!!"

Jock hugs Narrator happily.

"Where have you been?"

'Was just looking if there is any way out of here.'

"Can't you just make one."

'Thats basically what I wanted to do while Reader isn't here, but my powers in this book are limited when I have physical body.'

"I see. Well, we will have to look for exit by ourselves then."

Said Hero looking around.

"Hero, there is literally only one path we can possibly follow and the rest is just rock wall."

"I know, i know. But Narrator just got back from there, right? That means that exit isn't anywhere close in that direction."

"Maybe Mackenzie wants us to go that way."

"Yea. It's either a trap or she has some other plans with us."

"I would prefer none of those."

"We should have brought Firefly like I said, he would save us lots of troubles now."

"And made many others."

"Point taken."

They made their ways through the small cave corridor, hoping to find exit soon.

After thirty minutes of boring walking they sat down because they started to get exhausted.

"This is going nowhere you guys. I don't think we got anywhere close to an exit."

"And it's starting to get boring too. Also, because we don't have MC at our side right now, we can run out of supplies soon."

"N-narry, we won't stay here forever, will we?"

Asked sobing Jock.

He got immediately hugged from Narrator.

'Of course not dear, we will get out of here soon.'

Narrator said, not really believing his words either.

"Glad you are positive, cheating asshole."

'Cheating? You mean that me playing with code(x) of book is cheating? I mean, we would already lost Reader if it wasn't for me.'

"Thats right, Narry is only trying to help us!"

Said my little ball of happiness.

"Stop arguing guys, we should get going."

'Actually, I lost something on a way here, I'll catch up to you guys in a second.'

"Oh, do you want me to go with you Narry? Two pairs of eyes are better then one!"

'Um, no need, Jockie, I'll find it quickly and then join you again.'

"Oh, okay..."

Jock seemed bit down because of this.

Narrator gave him a quick kiss.

'I just don't want you to get exhausted for nothing, okay?'

"Mhm."

Said Jock, blushing slightly.

'Okay, I'll be on my way.'

"And we will be on ours."

"Take care Narry~!"

And with that, they have gone by their own paths.

"I wonder if he really lost something."

"It was kinda suspicious, but Narrator is always like this, am I right?"

"Yea... it's making me bit sad tho... It's like if he didn't believe me with his secrets..."

"Yea, especially, as if he was hiding something."

"Nah, if he had something to hide, he would definitely tell me."

"I mean, you said it yourself-you feel as if he didn't believe you with his secrets."

"Geez, Hero, you can't say it like this. That was really insensitive."

"B-but h-he is r-right... N-narry never tells me w-when something is b-bothering him... Doesn't he t-trust me anymore...?"

"Are you crying?"

"Guys? There are another doors..."

"I-i feel like we have to wait for Narry to help us...There might happen something important after these doors."

"But they aren't locked! We might find something out!"

"Jock is right, we have to wait for Narrator. There could be some important plot-twist ahead and he has to describe what is happening."
