Vengeful Love {1/}
New Original story featuring Mein folks. Mohib and Zaid are brothers. (MAYBE: Mohib is Asif's first son, then his wife died and he married Zaid's mom and Zaid was born.) also: question: is the name Azaad too cringe?
"Hello?"
"Hello ke bacche? Nikkah kr rahe ho aur munh bhi nahi laga rahe ho?" Zaid's friend teased him over the phone.
"Kya bakwaas kr rahe ho?" Zaid chuckled.
"Oho! Abh dost bakwaas lagne lage hain tujhe? Yeh, tasweeron mein tu nahi hai? Bhai sahab toh hai."
"Kon si pictures. Mujhe bhej," Zaid asked curiously.
"Tujhe waqai nahi pata? Yeh dekh main tujhe forward krta hoon. Meri behn gayi hai, Aiyra ke ghar. Dekh...oh shit!"
"What happened?"
Zaid was receiving picture messages on his phone. He put his phone on speaker and checked his messages. His brother was dressed up and in Aiyra's house. Wtf! The next picture he got almost made him drop his phone.
Mohib was sitting as a dulha next to Zaid's crush, Aiyra.
"Bro, what the hell?" His friend was still on the line.
"Exactly. I'll get to the bottom of this, bye," Zaid hung up and made another phone call.
"Hello."
"MJ. Tumhein pata hai Mohib kahaan hai?"
"Out of town hai, na? Meeting ke liye. Kyun? He didn't tell you?"
"Address bhej raha hoon. Yahan milo."
"Kyun? Kya hua? Hello, Zaid?" Mubashira wanted to know more but Zaid had hung up. His words had freaked her out. Already her and Mohib's relationship was a mess, she didn't know what else could go wrong.
Her phone buzzed and she received a text message. It was an address to a low class neighborhood. Mubashira rolled her eyes and got the driver to get her there. It took them twenty minutes to arrive.
Mubashira got out and walked the inner streets to get to the house. She called Zaid.
"Hello, Zaid. Main address pe hoon. Tum kahaan ho?"
Someone tapped her shoulder and she turned to see Zaid behind her. "Kyun bulaya hai yahaan?"
"Mere saath chalo," Zaid grabbed her hand and stormed in to the house with guests all over the space. They entered the living room and caught someone feeding mithai to the bride groom.
"Mohib! What the hell is this?" Mubashira yelled. Mohib got to his feet.
"Aiyra, yeh kya ho raha hai?" Zaid went up to ask. "Kal tak toh..." he paused to look around, "hamari shaadi ki baat chal rahi thi na?"
"Tum jaante ho isse?" Mubashira pulled his shoulder.
"Mubashira, yeh, Aiyra hai," Zaid introduced.
"Zaid, isko leke jao yahaan se," Mohib dared to order.
"Aap!" Zaid pointed a finger at his older brother. "Aap toh mujhse baat hi mut karein!"
"Kya samajh te ho tum apne aap ko!" Mubashira jumped at her husband. "Kya kiya tumne! Mere saath hote hue tum doosri shaadi karo ge!?"
"Tumhare saath rehna is hell, Mubashira! Tum se koi pyaar kr hi nahi sakta!" Mohib yelled at her.
"Tum? Dhoke baaz! Mere shohar ko chino gi! Tumhari aukaat hi kya hai?!" Mubashira stepped forward to reach for her sautan, but her husband got in her way.
"Tumhari das baar bhi shaadi ho jaye na, toh voh divorce mein hi end hongi. Kyunki tum kisi ko shohar maan hi nahi sakti. So let me be the first. Main tumhein talaak deta hoon, talaak deta hoon, talaak deta hoon!"
Zaid stared dumbfounded at his brother's actions. This marriage was more than a bond between man and wife, there were families connected through it, and Mohib hadn't cared about anything or anyone.
Mubashira stared, breathing heavily. She searched around and found a knife in one of the cake boxes. She grabbed it and aimed it at her now ex husband.
"Main tumhein jaan se maar doon gi. I'll kill you!"
"Mubashira, leave from here. Abh tum jao yahaan se. Get out!" Mohib demanded.
Aiyra dared to step forward, in a feeble attempt to protect her now husband from his ex wife. That got her in the eyes of Mubashira.
"Main iska gala daba doongi," Mubashira raged, reaching for the bride.
"Main ne tumhein mana kiya hai Mubashira," Mohib had grabbed her arm and pulled her away from Aiyra. He had raised his hand, intent on hitting her, but his arm was held back.
"Bas," Zaid was holding his arm, getting in his way, "abh aur nahi." He tossed Mohib back and turned to Mubashira.
"Chalo," he held her hand, intent on pulling her away.
"Nahi chodungi main! Kya samajhta hai yeh?!" Mubashira was growling. Zaid grabbed her shoulders and dragged her to the door.
"Isko pata nahi hai main kon hun! Mera vaada hai tum dono ki zindagi ko azaab bana doongi main!"
"Let's go, Mubashira!" Zaid dragged her out, setting her in his car passenger seat.
Mubashira raged while Zaid quietly drove to her father's house. He had lost his love, and not just to anyone, but his own brother. Double betrayal; by the people he held close.
The Jaffar manor gates opened as his car drove up. A watchman ran inside to fetch the boss. Zaid was opening the door for Mubashira when Jaffar ran outside.
Mubashira stormed inside.
"Zaid! Yeh kya ho raha hai!?" Jaffar inquired.
"I'm sorry, uncle," Zaid said ominously and drove off.
Jaffar stood standing in his spot, looking between the house and the now closing gates.
What the hell happened?!
