Phoenixians are a species of humanoid figures with red, gold, and orange colored wings, the colors of their plumage coordinating with their status in life as well as their abilities.

Gold plumage signifies royalty and appear to be the most human like, with their wings lining the back of their arms and small groups of feathers on their bodies, typically around the neck, head, and chest. They possess fire themed magic and are the only Phoenixians able to do so.

Red plumage is a symbol of the warrior class and are similar to golds, however they possess talons and claws instead of human feet and hands, and their wings are attached to their backs in order to allow better fighting movement. Reds are able to survive in extreme conditions, even space, without suffering any physical consequences. Warriors are much more war-like and have a tendency to be more protective and are natural survivalists.

Orange plumage signifies the commoner class and are by far the most bird like, having similar attributes as Reds with talons and claws and where their wings are positioned, but feathers line their bodies and they have beaks instead of human mouths. They are extremely gifted in farming and healing practices, and are often advisers to royals because of their innate wisdom.

Multicolored/Brown plumage signifies hybrids. Hybrids are not shunned, no matter who their parents are. Integration of other species is actually highly encouraged, especially in the royal family. Hybrids are typically scholars or merchants, and are free to leave the planet whenever they wish. Their abilities depend on their Phoenixian and non-Phoenixian parents abilities, often inheriting both parents' powers.

Weaknesses: depending on the rank and purity of their blood, it can be difficult to pinpoint specific weaknesses. Most classes seem to be strongly attuned to The Balance, those that are close to disturbances or corruptions will become corrupted themselves, resulting in them going mad and attacking anyone who gets close. Although they are attuned to the physical natures of the people and world around them, they aren't able to recognize some emotions unless they've studied/been taught to recognize signs of specific emotions

Societal & Politics Stuffs: Their society is based off of this basic yet practical heirarchy, however if one class wishes to rise above their born rank, they are allowed to do so after completing a series of challenges. Royals take care of diplomatic matters and are surprisingly not very affluent, the majority of the money belonging to the warrior and commoner classes, as they do the majority of the work. They have a strong family dynamic, and there has been no known civil wars in their history due to their innate peaceful nature. They welcome visitors from other planets, however they expect them to follow their rules and laws. They tend to keep to themselves in regards to galactic politics, but have strong and reliable bonds and treaties with the worlds and other species around them. They are multilingual and fast learners, and have a history of being adaptable in any situation. Their cities resemble classic Egyptian architecture, and in regards to religion they believe and worship a multitude of elemental gods. They strongly believe in The Balance, and are strongly attuned to nature and are able to recognize signs of corruption or abuse.

Mating: Mating rituals/instincts typically happen every twenty years after a Phoenixian reaches their thousandth year and takes up an entire week, and outside of this period Phoenixians are not sexually active.

Breeding: Phoenixian DNA is more dominant, so if a hybrid were to mate with a purebred, their offspring would result in a purebred Phoenixian. In regards to a Phoenixian hybrid whose parents are, for example, a gold and a red, and then mate with a red, their offspring will be a gold purebreed.

Life Span: The typical life span of a purebred Phoenixian is 6-8 thousand years. Hybrids typically take on the longevity of their non-Phoenixian parent.
