POV Lili

”Ethan! I just finished with two houses!” I yelled when I run out from a house. Now we just need to wish as hard as we can that the memory tubes will help.

“That’s awesome Lili,” Ethan shouted response and looks at me over his shoulder.

“In front of you!” I yelled at him and he saw how a nightmare horse was riding towards him in the air. Something in Ethan had changed, his powers were now exactly like Jack Frost’s, with the flying and winter powers and all.

Ethan waved his hand and the nightmare horse got destroyed by him.

“That was so cool!” I yelled aloud and I bounced up a bit. Then I slam my hand in front of my mouth and  I hear him laughing. He turns around and flies to me. I took a step back when he landed on the frozen ground, his boots were making the ice crack as he took steps towards me.

Ethan bowed to me and when he stood up again, he had this grin on his face. “You think that I’m cool?” He chuckled.

“No, I didn’t say that. I said that the horse getting exploded into pieces was cool,” I mumbled and I turn my back at him.

“I still have some tubes to deliver. You protect me while I do it,” I snapped at him. I just heard his loud exhale. After treating him like garbage through the years. How could I admit to him that I actually liked him always? How I was jealous for the other girls who he gave time instead of being with me.

I was just this plain simple girl. A daughter of noble but still sort of tomboy. When other girls were on literature classes and taking dance lessons as well as singing. That’s when I was training other things.

I climb up from a balcony where I noticed a window that I might get open. Swiftly I climb up and then I go through the window. I’m in a living room and I tiptoed my way towards a corridor. Then I saw a room that I knew would belong for a child. There was this ‘keep away’ sign with scribbled handwriting. I noticed that there was a hunting bow hanging on the corridor wall.

While keeping as quiet as I could I went inside the bedroom. As Toothiana had told me, I found the owner of one of the memory tubes that we were carrying. A brown haired girl with kind blue eyes and a smile that was as bright as sun on the tube. Now she was clearly suffering from the nightmares, she was just rolling on her bed, her forehead sweaty and so on.

“Ssshhh… this will help you and you can get power to fight with the nightmares. Just get some strength from your most cherished memory,” I whispered as I placed the tube on the little girls hand. It started opening. I never could see their memories but I always saw how a little smile crept on their faces ad I knew that it would help.

When I got done I left from the house again. “Ethan, could you give me a lift?” I whisper yelled as I stepped into the balcony. The first thing that I noticed was that there were nightmare horses galloping in circle around Ethan. They were high up in the air.

“I’m kinda occupied!” Ethan shouted his response and he attacked towards one horse. The move made him vulnerable and I saw how other horse hit it’s hooves on his back. Ethan groaned but managed to keep standing.

“Oh, Ethan. You should join me. Be a smarter man than your ancestor, Jack Frost was. Join me?” A voice said spreading each word and the voice was like poison to my ears.

Then, from the shadows, the nightmare king returned. Pitch Black, he had came back.

“Where are Jack and Elsa?” Ethan insisted to know. I look around us, we had gone too far from the battle. Everyone else was fighting further away, not knowing that Pitch is here. It was just Ethan and me now.

“Probably dead,” Pitch shrugged.

“You are lying!” Ethan roared and got ready to attack again. It was a mistake. A horse attacked on him as soon as he got his guards down. It beats him.

“ETHAN!”  I screamed and he looks at me. He can barely fly.

”Young boys and their love. How about I kill that girl right now? Maybe then you will join when your heart is dark and poisoned by hatred,” Pitch grinned. He started to approach me and I run back inside.

“Collect your thoughts Lili!” I told to myself and then I realized. The bow.

I run to get the bow and I scan around the place in hope for arrow.

“NO!” I heard Ethan shouting. I glance outside, Pitch is still slowly drifting towards the balcony from far up. Ethan was now flying towards me. Then I saw something. It was a black arrow, approaching me fast.

I closed my eyes, readying myself for the hit. That’s when I heard Ethan’s yell. I open my eyes, to see him falling  down. He had an arrow sticking out from his back. A black arrow.

”Why did you hurt him!” I shouted to Pitch. Ethan’s numb body fell to the balcony close to me.

“I wasn’t aiming at him,” Pitch laughed. “I aimed to you. However, I might as well let him out of his agony,” Pitch grinned and created another arrow. He aimed it to unconscious Ethan.

“STOP!” I yelled but he just laughed, he used a black bow to release the arrow. It flew through the air and I saw his anticipating smile as he waited the arrow to hit on Ethan, to kill him.

Quickly I run, not caring of the possible danger. Without thinking of it, I just reached my hand out and I imagined the flying route of the arrow.

Few seconds later. I was holding the black arrow, I caught it in the middle of its air fly. The black sand is burning against my skin, making me feel sick.

“What do you think that you are doing? The nightmare will devour your soul like it’s slowly doing to that brat,” Pitch laughed.

“I’m going to destroy you,” I hissed as I lifted up the bow that I had got from the corridor’s wall.

“With that and on my own arrow?” Pitch mocked at me.

“I think that you don’t know WHO you are messing with!” I roared.

”Huh? A teenaged little girl? Useless and powerless against me?” Pitch was saying with pity in his voice.

The arrow was still burning on my hand, I wiped couple of sweat drops from my forehead.

“I am Lili Gold, from long lineage and holder of the secret. I am the youngest living offspring of YOUR own daughter. That’s right, before becoming Mother Earth your daughter had a family. Then she gave her lineage a sacred mission of protecting a certain Golden flower which was created from her goodness to heal the sick. It was given to King Corona later but we still are learning the secret and sacred ways,” I announced as I placed the tip of the arrow to the bow string. Then I started to pull it back.

Pitch was shocked at first when I mentioned his daughter. “Haha, you are just trying to fool me,” Pitch laughed nervously. I saw his nightmare horses gathering around him.

“Am I?” I grinned. He just nodded his head.

“Flower, gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine

Heal what has been hurt
Change the Fates' design
Save what has been lost
Bring back what once was mine

What once was mine.”

I sang the song, the one that cured once the Queen of Corona, giving her daughter the powers many years ago. I watch as the arrow starts to glow, slowly turning gold in shade. Then I released it and it flew across the air, shimmering and being as bright as the sun.

It hit on Pitch who started screaming. His horses went out of control. At first his horses disappeared as well as the arrow on Ethan. Then I notice how Pitch is disappearing, he unifies with the shadows of the night.

Then he was gone, the Nightmare King disappeared into the shadows were he came from. I heard the child inside the house screaming happily after mother and father and I smiled when I placed my bow down.

Ethan is slowly getting his strength back and stands up. He embraced me when I got to him and I kissed him. “What happened?” Ethan asked when we parted from the kiss.

“Nothing big, Pitch just got scared,” I shrugged and gave him a smile.

“Really?” Ethan raised his eyebrows and questioned me.

“Long story which I will tell you other time. We have all the time we need together once we are married,” I chuckled and poked his nose. He flushed and then we heard the parents running at the corridor.

Floor beneath my feet vanished because Ethan made us fly away from the balcony so they wouldn’t see some random strangers invading their home.

POV Thor

The black horses disappeared all of a sudden. We were seeing how the ground melted, then hearing how children were asking for their parents. Everything started to seem more normal again.

“WHY! I was just warming up!” Stark whined as he landed to ground. He had been flying around while a herd of nightmare horses galloped after him.

“I agree, this is suspicious,” Hawkeye stated as he climbed down from a rooftop.

“Pitch is gone mate,” the giant Bunny told us.

“What do you mean gone?” Black Widow asked.

“Dead, killed, destroyed as in gone?” Stark asked and came out from his suit. He got startled when Hulk roared and run next to him.

“We can’t feel his presence anymore,” North said while he sheathed his swords.

“THE CHILDREN ARE AWAKE!” Toothiana laughed as she flew across the air. She was giggling and then she bumped into Bunnymund who she shared a hug with.

“That’s wonderful!” North cheered.

Sandy did a fireworks show with dreamsand which everyone stared at in awe. The kids joined us.

“How exactly he got destroyed?” Captain America asked carefully.

”He attacked us,” Ethan gulped out. We notice that he is limping towards us. Lili is supporting him.

“Then what?” Stark insisted.

”I shot his own arrow at him,” Lili shrugged and smiled. North started to look at the girl more carefully.

“You remind me of someone,” North wondered aloud.

“It’s your imagination,” Lili said quickly. “Anyway Pitch disappeared into shadows and I bet that he won’t be back soon,” Lili told us.

“Your future wife will sure be something,” Alex laughed and went to elbow Ethan who flushed. Lili kept on glaring at Alex who took couple steps back.

“My brother Alex means that it was really awesome that you managed to shoot him. But how could you deal with nightmare sand?” Aleah whispered.

“I might be just plain girl but if someone hurts my love I will be furious,” Lili chuckled.

“Whoa, never let me tease Ethan again,” Alex said to Aleah.

“Where’s Elsa and Jack?” Rose asked and everyone looks around. Only Sandy was able to tell something. However with his fast signals that no one could read.

“We are here,” a voice spoke from up.

Jack flew Elsa and himself down. He was carrying her bridal style and then gently placed her to ground. The kids run to hug them. I notice how Elsa and Jack changed some looks. I step forward and I go to Jack.

“Nice to see you well, Wielder of the Blue Lightning,” I smiled and gave him my hand.

Jack nodded his head and slammed his hand against mine and shook it. “You too my friend,”Jack laughed.

“What happened? Where were you?” Aleah asked and stared at Elsa who kneels down.

“I was helping children through dreams but I got surprised by nightmares. Jack came to get me back even though he was really hurt. Gladly the nightmares got defeated and he was able to heal again when children believed in him again,” Elsa smiled warmly.

“Yeah, thanks to everyone in here things are finally better!” Jack grinned.

“Well I would like thank you all in here. Now it’s better that we go back into our worlds. Asgard needs me and other dimension needs the Avengers. Maybe we meet again?” I look at everyone.

“Of course! You are always welcome in here!” Elsa smiled.

“My kingdom will be happy to let you stay whenever you want,” Ethan added.

We all thanked them before going to our transport by using a snowglobe. We took Loki away to get him into prison for all the evil things he had done. It was hard to leave everyone but for the best. They had lots of things to figure out as well as we do.

A/N:

Now there’s just the Epilogue left which I’m gonna publish soon. It’s a reunion for Avengers and Jelsa etc. Somewhere in the future. Could you guess what kind of situation and when? ;)
