POV Jack

Dodge. Like, right now. Oh gosh.

A yellow flash is about to hit me and I quickly called wind to lift me up. Nope, no wind.

I yelled in pain as pain pierced my body, making me shake as my muscles contracted by the hit. My whole body felt like burning, my head like it’s going to explode.

“That was kind of pathetic, Wielder of Blue lightning,” Thor sighed as he walked in front of me. I laid on the ground, holding my stomach and breathing heavily. My body was still quivering and twitching.

“H-how is this supposed to be training?” I said but I could barely form the words on my lips.

“What do you mean?” Thor said and crossed his arms while I took support from my hands as I started to sit.

“I mean that you’re practically trying to…. kill me here,” I exhaled an wiped some blood from corner of my mouth.

Thor chuckled, “You are immortal. Just few moments and you are healed. That was just baby lightning.”

My eyes widened, “It’s not okay to hit someone with lightning!”

“Yes which is why I need to get that thought out of you. We need to get you to release the blue lightning,” Thor said and pointed me with his hammer that had yellow glowing electricity dancing on it’s surface.

“No you wouldn’t dare,” I gasped as I felt my hair sticking in my head. He is going to hit me again.

I trembled on my feet as I quickly stood up. My hand wrapped around my staff and I started to run. This torture has been lasting for two days already. He says that this will unleash my power but I highly disagree. This is just killing me slowly.

Asgard is an odd place. It’s like this floating golden city with some sort of God figures from Norwegian mythology. I can’t use my wind here and my powers over ice and snow are also gone.

Wait.

“THOR!” I shouted and then I quickly dodged an lightning strike.

“Yes?” Thor smiled slyly.

“What if--,” I started but ended up grunting as I jumped away from the strike of lightning. It hit on the floor leaving a smoking black spot onto the place where it hit. I stare at the sight for a while before looking back to Thor.

“Did it ever come to your mind that I can’t use my powers here! What if I can’t use the lightning here!” I roared.

“Well, have you tried hard enough? I can use my powers in your world, Loki can use his powers. So… are you even trying?” Thor grinned mischievously and started walking towards me. He wielded his hammer, swinging it in the air and lifting it over his shoulder.

“Whoa, dude. What are you doing!” I gasped as he was approaching me. I see his muscles tensing up as he readies himself to hit me.

“Oh crap,” I gulped and backed up. The edge of the platform was closing up, from there it was a big drop to nothing.

“Thor,” I raised my voice but he kept on coming at me. My eyes widened when he swift the hammer at me. Quickly I lifted my staff in front of me but the hammer made it flew from my hands. I watch in horror as my staff clattered on the floor.

Suddenly Thor grabbed onto my hoodie’s collar and threw me back into the middle of the platform.

“I suggest that you start trying a little more and quick. I’m done holding it back,” Thor roared and walks again towards me. I tried to get myself up but he was faster. He kicked me back down and stood on my chest.

I watch as his hammer lifts up and then goes down. With a good slam he hit me on my chest after taking his feet off. Air left my lungs and I started panting. Pain was excruciating as my bones crushed under the heavy hammer’s strike.

Blood started splashing out as I coughed.

“Start trying or stop living,” Thor said and his lips narrowed. My breath was hitching badly and my fingers quivered as I they kept on scratching the ground. I laid on my back, feeling hurt and like I’m going to die.

“I thought that you were the one to stop Loki. I guess I was wrong,” Thor sighed.

I saw the shadow of the hammer hovering over my head. My eyes were wide from shock. He is going to crush my skull.

If I don’t do something.. I’ll.. I’ll be gone.. Injuries we can heal but once we’re dead, the spirit’s vessel dies and only the spirit continues living. I would be gone forever. The children would be lost by the eternal nightmare which they couldn’t wake up. Elsa, I wouldn’t see her ever again.

No. No, I can’t let it happen.

My breathing became rapid, my fingers scratched against the floor as I squeezed my hands into tight fists. I felt angry, angrier than before. I gritted my teeth together, taking one long inhale from between my teeth.

In slow motion I saw how Thor started slamming his hammer down.

“WIND CARRY ME!” I shouted loudly with blood drops flying from my mouth.

Then I felt it. How cool airwave gave me it’s support, my clothes slightly waving in the wind.

Time to fly.

I flew from under the hit of the hammer. It let out a blank bang as it hit to the floor. Thor was surprised to see me getting away. I ran in the air and held my other side with my arm. My insides were like burning up but I didn’t care.

While passing my staff I leaned down and grabbed it between my thin fingers. It started glowing as blue and I jumped towards the sky. The sky was getting dark, flashes started appearing around me.

“THOR YOU SHOULD HAVE STOPPED!” I yelled angrily as I turned back around. I saw Thor’s shocked face staring back at me.

An icy whirlwind started circling around me and then I heard the roar of thunder. I felt electricity in the air, my back being shot by cold lightnings. The energy flew through me and with a shout I let it out.

The blue electricity circled around my staff until it exploded from the end. It shot as a blue beam towards Thor. Area around us started freezing and I kept on glaring at Thor while breathing heavily.

Thor lifted his hammer to his front, the blue lightning hit on it and his hammer froze. Thor stared at his hammer in surprise and then he glanced up. It was the moment when my vision got blurry.

I started falling down, my body felt exhausted. I could see the view passing and the ground approaching.

Then I felt how I was catched.

“That was close,” Thor laughed as he helped me back on my feet. My head hurt and I rubbed my temples.

“W-what happened?” I exhaled as I let myself drop to sit on the ground. The world was still spinning.

“You used your powers and blue lightning,” Thor laughed happily and slapped my back while sitting down next to me.

“Mmhmm..”I mumbled and closed my eyes. I might throw up.. the pain mixed with nausea is not good.

“What you felt before you called the wind?” Thor asked all of a sudden. His eyes were filled with curiosity when I glanced at him.

“Angry,” I responded.

“Why?”

”Because I would let down the children and my wife,” I whispered and looked down to ground.

“So.. use that emotion when you want to wield your ultimate power, the lightning,” Thor grinned and stood up.

“It’s so simple?” I asked as I stood up after him. My feet were still a bit shaking but my chest felt already bit better. I’m slowly healing.

“Yes. Now then, let’s meet my friends,” Thor said.

“Who are they?” I raised my eyebrow.

“I think we need all the help we can get. Let’s get the Avengers and go back to Arendelle,” Thor smiled.

POV Aleah

Rose has been always really open-minded, ever since she was a small child. She liked my brother Alexander and he liked her. Then there’s my cousin Ethan and his future wife Lili, they are a totally different case. Ethan always liked about Lili but he had the most awkward way of showing it.

Currently Ethan is taking a verbal assault from Alexander. Something about keeping things as secrets from best friend and how his sister was endangered in the process. Alexander is sometimes a bit overreacting.

“Do you think that Ethan can handle it alone?” Toothiana whispered and glanced at me and Lili. I look at Lili and we both started laughing.

“What, did I say something odd?” Toothiana giggled.

“They’ve always been like that. Ethan is really sneaky to get out of trouble too,” I grinned to Toothiana and soon I see how Ethan and Alexander came back with smile and chuckling. Toothiana nodded her approval to me.

“Did we figure out a plan?” Ethan grinned and sat to a chair. He ran his fingers through his hair and then he glanced at Lili who blushed. I noticed how Ethan smiled slyly with a spark in his ice blue eyes.

“Yes. We’re going to Tooth Palace,” I said aloud.

“What on earth would we do there?” Alex gulped out.

“Well, I got an idea. What if we try out to show these kids their most wonderful memories. Maybe they will wake up from their nightmares then? It’s worth a shot right?” Rose laughed and walked over to Alex.

“So you want to get their teeth?” Alex sighed and Rose nodded.

“Yes and I need everyone’s help. It’s a big thing to organize since.. you know how many children there has been during the years!”  Toothiana sighed.

“Well,” Rose started but Toothiana interrupted her.

“Many! And all of them have many teeth inside their mouths. So.. there’s a lot to go through… And I’m not even speaking about how we get close to those kids while the nightmare horses are patrolling in the area,” Toothiana spoke quickly and rubbed her temples. She seemed agitated.

“I’m sure that together we can do it,” I smiled and touched Toothiana’s hand. She hugged me tightly all of a sudden and then she looked into my mouth.

“Ooh, I remember how pretty teeth you had before but these are still perfect and white as snow!” Toothiana giggled and Alex pulled her out. I laughed a bit to Toothiana’s enthusiasm.

“Sorry, I can’t help it. You all inherited Jack Frost’s teeth,” Toothiana chuckled and then her eyes widen. She turns to look at Alex.

Alex gasped, “Don’t you dare!” He mumbled as he slammed his hand to cover his mouth. Toothiana shrugged and then she turned around quickly. She flew to Alex’s bedroom window and whistled.

We all glanced at each other and then we heard some sounds, it sounded like gentle wind but somehow different. Then we saw them, dozens of little tooth fairies flew to us, the sound was from their wings.

Toothiana gave her orders to fairies and smiled to us. “What did you say?” Rose asked from Toothiana as the little fairies flew off while giggling to something.

“You’ll see,” Toothiana giggled and crossed her arms. Soon the fairies returned and they were carrying some baskets, large enough for people to fit in.

“My fairies will fly you to Tooth Palace,” Toothiana cheered and flew outside from the window. I glance at everyone, the swaying baskets seemed a bit dangerous while they hang over the ground which was 5 feet away. A large drop and all that would be protecting us would be those baskets, hanging from thin strings that small tooth fairies hold.

“Are you sure that this is safe,” Alex gulped as he poked one basket.

“Yes, I’m a Guardian of Childhood so I’m not doing anything harmful,” Toothiana laughed and bit her bottom lip.

Alex glanced at us, then lifting his other leg over the window’s edge and to the basket.

“No dude,” Ethan gasped and touched Alex’s shoulder. Alex threw his hand away and jumped to the basket. It wasn’t breaking or falling. Alex jumped couple times and then grinned.

“Seems safe. Hey, I’ve heard crazier things today so I thought that it’s worth a shot,” he laughed and gave his hand to Rose. They both were now on one basket.

“This is so cool!” I chuckled as I jumped to the second basket.

“I’m not getting in,” Lili gulped as fairies were trying to get her into basket.

“But you can’t stay. What if Pitch attacks here? He knows that you mean something to us so you’re not safe,” Toothiana said sadly and rubbed her hands together in worried way.

Lili shook her head, her whole body was shivering for fear. Ethan touched my shoulder and then he climbed off from our basket. He flew to Lili.

“Lili,” Ethan started and I saw his eyebrows narrowing as he focused.

“I’m not getting into those!” Lili said while her voice shivered.

“Tooth spoke the truth. Just.. come?” Ethan smiled and touched Lili’s hand.

“Ethan. I don’t like heights!” Lili gulped and Ethan’s hand dropped.

“I know a way that you don’t have to look down?” Ethan said carefully and I saw a playful smirk forming to his face.

“Like what?” Lili snapped and backed away from the window. “No knocking me down!” She spoke quickly.

Ethan didn’t say anything when he walked to her. Carefully he scooped her to his arms. Lili yelped as her upper body hit against Ethan’s chest and I heard him chuckling.

“Put me down! You can’t make me go into the basket!” Lili screamed and hit Ethan’s chest.

“Ethan, she is scared!” I shouted.

“I know that she is scared! That’s why she is flying with me. Safely in my arms, I’ll never let her fall and if she falls.. it’s because she’s so wonderstruck by me,” Ethan said gently and looked at Lili while smiling. I saw Lili turning red, her hand stopped hitting Ethan and now I saw her squeezing his shirt.

“You promise?” Lili whispered and Ethan nodded his head.

“Let’s get going,” Ethan said as he walked to window. Lili buried her face against his chest and then Ethan jumped out from the window. He was flying already towards Tooth Palace.

The fairies flew us too to the Tooth Palace. When we landed I saw Lili and Ethan already standing on the yard. I noticed how Lili laughed a bit to something that Ethan said and brushed some hair away from his face. Then she noticed us and her face went pale. Quickly she backed up.

“Now that we’re all here. Let’s get to business!” Toothiana cheered. She pointed us to the place where the Burgess’s children teeth were. There were lots of them.
