POV Loki

Vanquished, by dear brother of mine, into the land of the stupid Frost Giants. The great master of illusion is ripped from his throne and set to live alone in the place of eternal winter. Alone because these mere beings are not any good for chit chat.

Suddenly I felt a presence that I knew from my childhood. “What brings you to Jotunheim, King of Nightmares?” I said sarcastically as I turn around. I tilt my head to look at the black smoke cloud that’s twirling in the air. A figure is slowly forming and then I see the man who haunted me every night. Slowly making me realize that I would have never been the lord of Asgard if I wouldn’t act.

Pitch grinned and walks towards me, I jump down from my icy throne seat and walk towards him. “How did your conquering go?” Pitch chuckled and I rolled my eyes to him.

“Well, it failed since you left me handle it alone,” I groaned to him.

“I had other business to take care of in another realm,” Pitch laughed mischievously and I raised my eyebrow.

“Which one of the realms?” I asked.

“World where dreams come true,” Pitch said and went to sit on my throne.

I laughed, “Dreams? Why dreams? I thought that you prefer Nightmares. Uncle.”

Pitch rolled his eyes and I see him forming a nightmare spear. “I told you. NEVER CALL ME AS UNCLE!” He shouted and threw his spear.

He watches as the spear is piercing me and smiles deviously. “Alright, Pitch,” I said as I walked from behind of a man sized ice spike. The illusion of me that his spear pierced had vanished.

“Why would you have interest in such a land?”

“There are potential for perfect world of fear. However there are some people on the way,” Pitch said bitterly.

“Who are on your way? Just let me out from this frozen prison of mine and I can help. If you make me the ruler of the people,” I laughed blankly.

“The Guardians. Especially one named Jack Frost. Then there’s the Protector, his wife, Elsa Frost,” Pitch said furiously.

I raised my eyebrow. “They can’t win against me,” I chuckled.

Pitch rubbed his chin. “This could truly be convenient. You’re a son of frost giant. Do you know what is special in that Frost couple?”

I shook my head.

“They wield the powers of winter.” Pitch said.

I laughed. “I can’t feel the cold. Besides, they’ve never met anyone like me,” I grinned as I lifted a single shard of broken ice from floor and then I threw it at Pitch. He blocked it with his Nightmare sand and when he tried to counter attack he met ten of me. All circled around him.

“I’m going to show them what a real god is like,” I spoke and the words echoed in the air as ten of me spoke at the same time.

“Sure, sure. Let’s get down to business, shall we?” Pitch laughed and I see how he creates a portal.

Time to leave this icy prison of a kingdom behind of me. Good bye Jotunheim and land of Dreams won’t know what hit on it.

POV Ethan

Jack befriended with Aleah soon after coming back as his normal self. Well, he is a charming person even though a bit mischievous. Even though I see that Jack is explaining stuff about winter’s awesomeness, as he says, he is holding Elsa’s hand the whole time. It’s like he’s afraid of letting go of her.

I’m leaning on the doorway of the living room at Lili’s home. She lives in a mansion that’s filled with ancient stuff. Her parents are into collecting. I sighed when that trio started laughing, my 13 year old cousin is overly excited.

Then I heard some sounds from the kitchen and I decided to go and check it out. Lili is there cooking and I bit my lower lip as I went to her. “Umn, hey Lili,” I laughed nervously and rubbed my neck. Even though she has been avoiding me like a plague since childhood I’ve grown fond of her.

Lili stopped mixing some cookie batter and she looks at me. My cheeks blushed as she kept on glancing at me from up to down. “We met already today, Ethan,” she sighs and scoops some spoonfuls on tray and presses them into cookies.

“I know but,” I started but she was ignoring me.

Then I smiled, “There’s something behind your ear.” I whispered and leaned forward, soon I pretended to find an ice rose from behind her ear. I bowed to her and handed her the rose.

“It’s not as magnificent as you are but I tried,” I said warmly. She takes the ice flower my hand and I stand straight again. Her fingers are touching the icy flower petals and I’m trying my best to remain calm.

Then she handed the flower back to me and my heart shattered like a frozen puddle where you step and it cracks.

“Lili?” I gulped and tried to hold my tears.

“Stop flirting, you’re just nice to every girl you meet. It’s not like I’ve not seen how you act all nice in every girl at dances and then you dare to approach me, your fiancée,” she hissed.

“Yes you are my fiancée, the queen of Arendelle in six years of now. Why are you acting up like this all the time!” I shouted.

“Hah. Like I had a choice when my parents told me that I would  marry some child,” she muttered and splat one scoop of batter angrily on the tray. Some batter flew to her and my clothes.

I see her eyes tearing up and I want to hold her, tell her that it’s fine. She would probably kill me if I would. “B-but we were both kids,” I whispered and my hand reached to her. I pulled it back immediately.

“Exactly! And you’re still a child Ethan Frost,” she chuckled and then she pushed me aside when she left the kitchen running.

I hear her crying to Aleah that if she would bake the cookies for her.

One look to the ice rose which I gave her and I felt like I’m slowly dying on the inside. I threw the flower to sink and it broke into pieces, I watch as the small bits are slowly melting and the rose is now more of a water puddle than a delicate and unique art piece that I meant for her.

“What the heck happened?” Jack asks as he flies into kitchen with a trail of frost following him. I shrugged my shoulders and I see how he puts the cookies into oven after finishing putting the batter on tray.

I hummed when he took the cookies out few minutes later. “I didn’t know that the former king of Arendelle and the winter spirit bakes cookies,” I said sarcastically and Jack took of the cooking gloves.

“Yeah. I’m quite surprising, I can do the best wedding rings too,” Jack chuckles and my eyes widen.

“Ethan. I had a sister once, I used to cook a lot as human. That’s why I know how to do cookies. My father was a jewelry maker, I wanted to be the best wood carver,” Jack smiled slyly and touched my shoulder.

I shook his hand of, “Yeah well, I don’t think that I will ever need a wedding ring.”

“Elsa hated me at first,” Jack shrugged his shoulder and laughed a bit.

“She did?” I questioned.

“Yup. I don’t know if she remembers that yet but… she did,” Jack says and leans to his staff.

Jack cleared his throat and then he walks to me. He ruffles my hair all of a sudden.

“Stop!” I gasped and he kept on laughing.

“Thank you for helping me to get back to her and you,” Jack smiles and hugs me. I pat his back.

“Yea, yea,” I sighed uncomfortably.

“Sorry to bother you boys,” Aleah giggles from the kitchen door. She stands there with Elsa who watches at Jack keenly and she looks so.. happy. I wish that Lili would look at me like that.

When Lili came to kitchen she started to take out some plates and glasses. She gave us milk and cookies to eat. I could see her eyes swollen but I decided to keep my mouth shut so she wouldn’t freak out again.

“When are we stopping this hiding?” I sighed and everyone stopped eating their cookies.

“When he is rested enough,” Elsa said and nodded towards Jack who flushed.

“I’m fine really,” Jack muttered and Elsa raised her eyebrow.

“No offense Jack Frost but you were an ice block a few moments ago,” Aleah chuckled and Jack rolled his eyes.

“Yeah. Well, let’s wait until tomorrow. Not longer because I can feel the fear growing in people’s hearts,” Jack whispered and I saw him squeezing his milk glass.
