'Top that,' read the caption on the video Vex was currently uploading. Just a fun little video that escalated things so far.

Vex, not thinking anything else of the video, tosses his phone to the side and scoops up the tv remote in his hand. As he turns the tv on, he quickly flips through channels until he comes across one that's playing MHA. The episode that's playing is clearly in season 3. "Are your students important," a false Dabi says before falling to the ground with the consistency of mud. Instantly Vex is drawn into the episode.

Vex's phone continues to go unknown to him, but his TikTok video, on the other hand, is trending.

The new transition, a curtsy in to blue lights and a maid outfit, the dance with it quite simple. Hands in front of the pelvis stacked on top of each other as if an umbrella is there, hip sway to each side. Peace signs, then another hip sway. Finally, hands behind the back with another hip sway. It's simple yet fun.

Ten views into a hundred, a hundred into hundreds, hundreds into thousands, and so on. As the views go up, so do the remakes and duets. For you pages are covered with duets of the dance. Duets saw by the eyes of many but only the eyes of one matter-the eyes of Ace.

Ace, the notorious freaktok lord. One duet after another, his interest was peaked, not just in the TikTok but in the creator himself, Vex. Ace wanted Vex to hold, to touch, to annihilate him, respectfully, of course.

"Top this," Ace thought to himself. "Okay, I will." Ace spent time studying the TikTok, the way Vex moved, the transition, the dance. He even began to analyze the little things as he was watching, like the way the light showed off the ring protruding out of Vex's lip, the way the skirt of the maid outfit gracefully rested upon Vex's legs, the green of his hair. The way his skin was red in areas as if cold. It drove him crazy. The things he wanted to do. The marks he wanted to leave.

After multiple failed attempts, Ace has finally got it right. He would show Vex that he can top it and make it look easy in the process.

Ace's video also featured the signature maid outfit. The transition was different. As if dusting himself off, he changed. His video is a bit different, though. Instead of doing the hands in front of himself, he had a chain in his hand, and he was twirling it while swaying his hips. Another transition, this time with a collar in hand, that read something, but it was unclear what it said. Right before the video ends, Ace presents the collar, and it reads "kitten."

"Just did," Ace captioned his video and uploaded it. It had been at least 8 hours since the original video of Vex had been up, and Ace wasn't sure if his video was going to be seen, but he was confident and cocky.

Eight hours later and Vex is just now coming back to his phone after watching anime, eating, and unboxing items sent to him by a friend. As Vex picks up his phone from where he previously placed it, his heart stops. The first notification on his phone read, "@itsmxddieluv and 500k others have liked your video." As he unlocks his phone and goes to the TikTok icon. The application reads 99+. "Welp, here goes," Vex says as he opens the app. "Oh lordy, would you look at that 1.2k duets and counti-, oh another one?"

Vex plops down on his bed and watches a lot of the duets. As he's scrolling through all of them, he comes across one that makes him chuckle. The amount of laughter this video brought him made him curious. "Acer_of.hearts, funny fellow ain't he, " Vex says as he clicks on the comments and reads through some of them. Most of the comments are talking about the "kitten" collar. One of the comments reads, "Is this a proposition of sorts," and that gets Vex thinking about a way to respond to the "proposition."

A kitten collar that's cute, but it's not for me, Vex thought to himself. It pissed him off that Ace thought he was a sub, but he would play this role up until the moment he got his hands on him. Then they'd really see who's the sub, and Vex was determined to show it wasn't him.

"Interesting proposal," was all that Vex commented, and Ace saw it immediately.
