🎄 Mistletoe | Yoonjin
[Summary]
It's Christmas time. The Bangtan members are all busy except Seokjin, Yoongi and Taehyung, who find time to set up a Christmas tree in the living room. What Yoongi wasn't expecting on this cold night was to come face to face with a little mistletoe hanging above him, and Seokjin standing right next to him.

Yoongi huffed as he reached his red ornament as high as he could, hating that the boys had decided to get a whole nine foot tree to go in their living room. There was no damn way he was going to step up onto something to be able to reach the top of the tree. He'd rather let Taehyung reach the star onto the very tip than be made fun of for using a step-stool.
"Hyung." Taehyung mumbled, earning both Yoongi and Seokjin's attention. They were the only three in the dorms at the time and Taehyung had a slightly focused look on his face as he stepped back. "I'm going to the store to buy a star for the topper." He said.
Seokjin furrowed his eyebrows down at him, thinking he had heard something different. The loud Christmas music filling the room didn't help much with his confusion.
"We have a star." Jin pointed to the floor where the big star was laying, the plug trailed behind it and plugged into the wall. The crease in his eyebrows softened as his expression turned to confusion. "It's plugged in. Why is it not on? Did you turn it on?" He asked.
Taehyung nodded. "I accidentally cut the cord while I was trying to cut into the box. I'll just go replace this star." He bent down to the broken star and picked it up to put it back in the box. "I'll be back. Just keep decorating." And with that, he turned to leave the dorms.
Yoongi sighed as he looked at the amount of glitter that was all over his clothes. The glitter had came off of the decorations and filled his black sweater with red and green shiny specs. Seokjin went back to decorating the Christmas tree on his own, not noticing Yoongi's sigh. It was already getting colder outside as the sun started to set and Yoongi was honestly tired of putting up ornaments.
"We could make hot chocolate." Jin suddenly said as he backed away from the tree.
"We're supposed to be on a diet." Yoongi looked up at his hyung, his soft eyes glistening with the Christmas lights. His eyes were dark brown, so the white lights of the tree left noticeable dots spread all over them.
Seokjin shrugged. "I still bought hot chocolate today. Figured Taehyung would want some, but he broke our Christmas spirit by cutting our star, so we should have some without him." He left his ornaments on the floor and left towards the kitchen. Yoongi had no room to argue over hot chocolate. As cold as it is right now, he wouldn't mind a few sips.
"Did you know that our coffee machine can heat up water for hot chocolate?" Seokjin asked from the kitchen. Yoongi chuckled as he walked towards the room, stopping right in the corridor with a slight hum in his throat.
"No." He said. "Show me."
Jin did. He pressed a specific button after looking for it, barely even realizing that he hadn't even prepped the machine for hot chocolate yet. Once he realized, he turned off the machine and laughed at himself as the hot water was pouring into no cup, but pouring onto the machine because he forgot to put a cup under where the water comes out.
"Nice, hyung." Yoongi smiled.
"Rookie mistake." Jin shook his head to himself as he pulled two mugs out of the cabinet. He reached to open another cabinet and pulled down hot chocolate packets and a bag of mini marshmallows. He had a big smile on his face as he showed Yoongi.
After the hot chocolate was finally done, Jin gave Yoongi a red mug as he held onto his own with both hands, somehow not burning himself. He leaned against the corridor facing Yoongi, who was leaning on the other side as he barely blew cold air onto his mug.
"It is good." Yoongi said after a while of letting his drink cool down, the marshmallows already melting into the liquid. Jin nodded at him and quickly set his back down on the counter as he burnt his own tongue. Yoongi laughed with the older and set his own drink back down.
"Mine's still hot." Jin said.
"I see that." Yoongi chuckled, letting the back of his head rest against the corridor frame. He went to close his eyes to rest a little. However, he noticed something dangling from the middle of the corridor frame. His eyes widened a little as he realized what it was. A little mistletoe was right above him. And then he looked back down at Seokjin. A mistletoe was hanging right above them.
Seokjin gave a concerned look at Yoongi as he started to blink uncontrollably out of being flustered. He realized how their position looks right now, both standing under the pretty, green mistletoe. And who the hell put a mistletoe in their house like this? Was it there last night? Or this morning? Why?
"Something wrong?" Seokjin asked.
Yoongi chuckled nervously as he scratched at his neck. He knew he couldn't lie to Seokjin. Jin would eventually notice and probably call him out on being weird for something so little, so simple. It shouldn't be a big deal. It's nothing to really get flustered over.
"No." He lowered his hand from himself. "Just— There's a- a mistletoe. There's a mistletoe." Yoongi pointed up above them, hating how much he was stumbling over his own words. He watched as Seokjin's eyes travelled up to where he was pointing to.
"Did you do that?" Jin asked him, surprise filling his voice as he looked back down at Yoongi. Yoongi merely shook his head. "You sure, Yoongi-ya?" He began to tease Yoongi, just like he knew would happen. He walked towards Yoongi with a teasing smile. "I'll kiss you. All you had to do was ask." His voice was very seductive and cheeky.
This isn't anything like Jin.
He usually hates giving into what others want. Not that Yoongi wants as kiss from him..
"No.." Yoongi turned his head the other way in embarrassment as Seokjin inched closer to him, locking him against the frame. "S-Stop acting so weird. You don't even—" He inhaled deeply as Seokjin put his hand on his hip, his back instantly arching at the feeling. "Stop messing with me." He complained, pressing his arms against Jin's chest as he leaned in closer, trying to push him away.
Seokjin leaned closer to him. And Yoongi wasn't exactly pushing him away enough to really do anything. He caught the redness of Jin's ears as he leaned into Yoongi and pressed his lips to the side of his head, pecking. The younger of the two wanted to melt into the floor and boil. A kiss from Seokjin in any way possible is not something that he figured would make his knees so weak like this.
"Hyung." Yoongi bit his tongue. His voice sounded like a whine. He hates it.
They were still merely inches apart. Seokjin wasn't moving away from him. Everything felt so tight. The air, Yoongi's throat, his heart, his fists as he tried to focus on something to hold onto. Jin backed away only to look down at Yoongi with a much more focused look.
"You're supposed to kiss back." He told Yoongi. He wasn't sure what Jin wanted from him, because all Yoongi could do was break eye contact and blink furiously. "Come on, Yoongi-chi. Don't be disrespectful to hyung."
Yoongi finally looked back into his eyes. The sparkling Christmas lights weren't there anymore, but Jin still looked very amused. His ears were red, though. Embarrassed.
"You don't want me to kiss you."
Jin huffed. "Says who?"
Yoongi bit his lip as Seokjin started to laugh nervously to himself. "You seriously want me to kiss you just because of a mistletoe?" Yoongi asked. All Jin did was smile back, still amused, yet slightly shy all of a sudden.
"It'll put me in the Christmas mood."
It was Yoongi's turn to chuckle back at him. Before he could decide against himself, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to Jin's cheek, earning wide eyes in return. It was as if Jin wasn't expecting him to actually kiss back. Seokjin's cheek was soft and a little warm against Yoongi's chapped lips. As Yoongi pulled away, it had hit him that he had just kissed his hyung's cheek.
"I-Is that okay..?" Yoongi mumbled.
But Seokjin had other plans.
He moved his hand to Yoongi's waist and pulled his other hand up to rest on Yoongi's cheek, cupping it softly as he leaned in and pressed his lips right onto Yoongi's. Yoongi let out a gasp in surprise, but hummed in content as Seokjin started kissing gently at his upper lip. Their lips slotted together like peace to Earth. It felt so nice and soft. And Seokjin's hand keeping Yoongi in place as Yoongi hummed into the kiss felt so good.
The kiss felt so good.
At this point he didn't need Seokjin's hand to keep him put. Yoongi pushed himself forward and kissed back just as softly, the Christmas music still playing in the other room as they began to kiss each other's lips gently.
Seokjin was so gentle and sweet that it made Yoongi's knees feel even weaker. His thumb caressed his waist as they both pushed and pulled against each other. Yoongi still had his arms pressed against Jin's chest, but he wasn't trying to push him away anymore. Seokjin was actually kissing him under the mistletoe. And he was actually kissing him back. This wasn't under Yoongi's to-do list for today.
As Jin pulled back from the kiss, Yoongi opened his eyes wide and confused.
"Hyungie.." He whispered, shy.
A small worried chuckle came from Seokjin as he glanced back down into Yoongi's wondering eyes. "Sorry for that." He said, his voice low and warm. "I didn't mean to kiss you like this." He pressed his forehead against Yoongi's. "This wasn't as planned as I thought. I didn't know if you'd want to kiss me at all.."
Yoongi tilted his head. "Planned?"
Seokjin sighed to himself as he pulled Yoongi forward into a hug merely so that he could hide his embarrassed face into Yoongi's shoulder.
"I planned to kiss you under this mistletoe. But then you started panicking, which made me start panicking and now— This is just a mess, honestly." He cowered into Yoongi's neck. "Forgive me, Yoongi."
Yoongi couldn't help but smile as Seokjin hugged him as an apology. "Hyung." He wrapped his arms around Jin, who instantly hummed into his neck. "Are you in the Christmas mood yet?" He asked. "We still have a tree to decorate. Keep being romantic like this and maybe I'll kiss you to sleep."
Jin perked up and backed away to look Yoongi in the eye. "You will?" He asked, genuinely surprised. Yoongi chuckled at him. "Shouldn't we talk about this or something? Did you actually want to kiss me? You still do?"
"Not until the tree is done" Yoongi said. "Then we can go cuddle and.. maybe kiss. And talk about why you set this cheesy thing up."
Seokjin quickly pulled Yoongi out of the corridor and straight back to the living room, where the music was still playing and the tree was sitting half naked, needing ornaments.
"Well, what're we waiting for?"
