Jimin has always had a huge crush on Seokjin.

He's never let it be known, however. And he isn't exactly sure when it started, but his crush goes beyond words at this point; it's not so much of a crush after years of feeling this way.

He loves the BTS members equally and he has a certain type of relationship with each and every one of them, but he's just more subtle and has a little shimmer in his eyes every time he looks at Seokjin.

Seokjin's care-free personality has taught Jimin things he never knew he needed to be taught. Seokjin's laugh is abrupt and loud, harmonizing with Jimin's whenever it's just the two of them alone, laughing at something they'd done or laughing at something on Seokjin's phone.

Seokjin has improved and come such a long way from his shy pre-debut self. He's got a voice like gold that conveys emotionally or gives the power and strength needed in a song. His voice is like heaven to Jimin's ears.

Jimin has always thought that Seokjin is good-looking and nobody can deny such a fact; Kim Seokjin is handsome and that's that. But Jimin not only thinks he's handsome– he loves the way Seokjin's eyes gleam, the way Seokjin's eyebrow raises involuntarily, and the way he scrunches his nose. He loves the way Seokjin smiles big and without hesitation because he's just so lively and wonderful.

And maybe Jimin's totally in love with everything that Kim Seokjin offers.

To call it a crush is just crazy.

He's in love.

And because he's in love, he decided to buy Seokjin a little something for Christmas this year despite the members agreeing not to do such a thing anymore. Jimin's love language is gifting and if he hadn't seen the most perfect sweater for Seokjin, he wouldn't have bought it!

That's his excuse, at least. If he's asked, he'll lie and say that he totally didn't go shopping just to find the perfect gift for Jin.

When Christmas Day finally arrives, Jimin fiddles with the little box he'd wrapped the sweater with. The sweater was blue and had a cute little pattern on it, and Jimin has seen the sweaters that Seokjin wears these days– he knows he'll love it.

Still, he twists the bow he'd topped the box with between his little fingers and stands nervously in front of Seokjin's apartment door, waiting for it to be opened. He didn't tell Seokjin he was coming over.

After a minute, the door clicks open and Seokjin makes a little noise of surprise, eyes immediately eyeing the present, then landing onto Jimin's eyes.

"Jimin-ah?" he questions as he opens his door wider. "Why are you here? What's that?" he asks as he lets Jimin in. Seokjin leads them to the living room and when they stop walking, Jimin turns to him, then holds the box up.

"For you."

Seokjin gapes at him. "We weren't buying gifts for each other, I thought?"

Jimin pouts up at him. "Hyung," he whines, "just take the gift."

Though the oldest clearly wants to playfully argue a little more, he takes the gift and opens it. Jimin watches like a hawk for Seokjin's reaction, biting at his lower lip nervously, but the worry in his eyes fades away once Seokjin lifts the sweater and smiles.

"Yah, Jimin-ah." He holds the sweater to his chest and looks over at Jimin, still smiling. "This is such a cute sweater. You knew I'd wear something like this, didn't you?"

Jimin tries not to blush as he's caught with such knowledge. "W-Well, yeah. You wear this type of thing lately."

Seokjin holds the sweater out once again and scans over it, then sort of goes blank for a second as if he's thinking about something.

"Wait here for a second," he tells Jimin.

Jimin stands alone by Seokjin's Christmas tree, playing around with the ornaments and taking in the pretty lights. A minute or so later, Seokjin walks back into the living room with a little box in his hands.

"What's that?" Jimin asks, curious and with wide eyes as Seokjin holds it up.

"Your gift."

Butterflies swarm Jimin's tummy. He's too shocked to even say anything when he takes the tiny box and looks up at Seokjin as if to ask if he can open it. Seokjin nods his head, telling him to go ahead.

He opens the tiny box and the first thing he sees is silver– a bracelet with a tiny little diamond pendant hanging at the bottom comes into his view and his initial reaction is to widen his eyes more and gasp as he holds it closer to his face to get a good look.

"Hyung?" he questions with shock laced in his voice.

When he looks up at Seokjin, the older is already silently reaching forward to take the bracelet out and undo the clasp, so Jimin holds out his wrist and watches in pure joy as the love of his life treats his wrist so delicately. Even the bracelet looks delicate as it hangs over his tiny hand.

"Hyung, this is so pretty." He looks back up at Seokjin again. This time, Seokjin gives him a little smile.

"Pretty bracelet for pretty Jimin."

Heat ripples through Jimin's entire body, especially his cheeks. He tries to hide his blush by looking down, but Seokjin just reaches out and tucks a loose strand of Jimin's hair behind his ear, which makes him blush even harder.

"Hyung," he whines.

Seokjin chuckles. "What?"

"Since when did you become such a romantic?"

At that, Seokjin grows quiet. Again, he looks at Jimin as if he wants to say something. As if he's hesitating. But it's not like Seokjin to hesitate, so Jimin only waits two seconds before–

"Since you and I are standing under the mistletoe," Seokjin suddenly informs him. Jimin immediately looks up and gasps at the sight of such a thing in Seokjin's apartment. "I'm romantic just for you, Jimin-ah."

Jimin thought he was blushing hard before, but now he's redder than Seokjin's ears as he nudges playfully at the oldest. "Hyung! Is this why you made me stand right here? Why would you put a mistletoe in your own apartment? And why next to the tree? Why–"

"Do you plan to scold me and ask a million questions, or do you want to kiss me under the mistletoe?"

Seokjin is joking– because he laughs lightly when he says it– but Jimin quickly stands up on the tip of his toes and rests his hands on Seokjin's shoulders as he leans in and in a flash, pecks Seokjin's lips, then falls back into his place and swallows the embarrassment away.

Seokjin goes completely still and stops laughing. He stares shockingly at Jimin as if he's wondering if Jimin actually just kissed him or not.

"Thank you," Jimin says to distract Seokjin and to distract his own racing heart. "Thank you for the gift–"

Jimin is cut off by his own small gasp as Seokjin takes him by his waist and pulls him forward, leaning in for a better, much more time-stilling kiss. They're both silent with their lips against each other, but they melt into the touch and Jimin couldn't be happier that he decided to come over today.

When Seokjin pulls away, their lips hover and linger, grazing gently as they take in the precious moment.

"Merry Christmas, Jimin-ah."

It is indeed the merriest Christmas he's ever had. He's got Seokjin's arms around his waist, a pretty little gift on his wrist, and lips that press into his once more. It's all he's ever wanted and more, to be in Kim Seokjin's arms.

Merry Christmas!
