Mai starts to wake up from the event of the previous night stretching her arms and it shows that places around her back and chest are covered in Bandages from the Cuts, Bruises a Burn scar on her Left Eye which is Covered right now. (She's Lucky that her hair isn't burnt off)

Mai: (Narrating) (Sigh) Why? Why did it have to come to this? Now I know how it feels to get a Scar like Zuko. Thanks a lot Azula. It almost hurt me to see Azula in a psychotic state, and to be honest..... She Deserved it she needs to face the Consequences anyways. (Sigh) man these past 2 weeks being Daredevil have been hard for me. And how did it all started? Well, I remember it like it was yesterday.....

Mai: (Narrating) Shortly after Zuko Left the Fire Nation to find peace and to find his mother, I was Walking around getting my favorite Ice cream, the Cherry Flavored. I was on my way Back When.... There was a Transport wagon full of Chemicals that came by

Delivery Guy: Hey Slow Down! there's an old man Walking across the street!

Driver: I can't This animal is out of control for some reason!

Mai: (Narrating) And without thinking I just Ran and Shoved the old man out of the way. Unfortunately the Chemicals Splashed to my face and one of the Canisters knocked me unconscious.

Mai: AARGH!!! (Knocked unconscious)

Mai's P.O.V. while unconscious

In the Hospital Something strange has happened while she's unconscious She's starting to hear Loud Noises. Especially with a Drop off Water.

Mai: (Wakes up while Gasping) (Hearing More Noises) What the Hell?!

Mai: (Narrating) Boy, At first It almost drove me crazy with all that Noise but I started to realize that my Senses have been enhanced. And the first person that Visited me was my Little Brother Tom Tom.

Tom Tom: Hey, Big sis.

Mai: (Sigh) Hey Tom Tom.

Tom Tom: The Doctor Gave me and Mom and Dad the Bad news.

Mai: Let me Guess, That I'm Now Blind?

Tom Tom: How did you know?

Mai: I can't see, and I heard the Doctors down the hall.

Tom Tom: (Sniffed) I'm so sorry this happened to you sis (Hugs Mai and Mai returns the hug)

Mai: It's not your fault Bro.

Tom Tom: If that happened to me instead of you Sis....

Mai: Don't Tom Tom, It'll probably be worse even if I lost my sight At least your Big sister is alive.

Mai: (Narrating) Out of all the Family members I Had My Brother and I had a close bond, usually my Parents are usually busy with their jobs and they are not home as much as they used to. Eventually I've been getting used to my Enhanced sense. But one day.... Tragedy struck hard. My house was Burnt down, My Parents died in the fire but I managed to save Tom Tom. It really hurts to know that my parents are both dead... Sometimes I miss them, I still do. I took My brother to my Aunt to keep him safe, while I wanna find out who's responsible. I even made a suit for myself Before I got upgraded. Now I went by the name Daredevil. At least still have my Weapons with me.
