Chapter-30| The Truth

"You were the hunter who saved me." I looked up.
"O' lotus-faced one, Isn't that my duty?" he smiled at me.

"What duty? Why would you show up all of a sudden?"
"You called out for me," he smiled at me.
That's when I noticed everything around me was paused. The moving trees, the flying birds and everything.
"O' Lord Śiva? Is that you?" my voice started to tremble.
"Yes, it's your Mahadeva in front of you." he smiled at me.
"Obeisance to Thee, O Lord, from whom the mobile and immobile being have originated. To the great Maheśa, the Supreme Iśa and the great Ātman." I knelt at my feet.
"Oh, my lord. It's too much to take in."
"He was fair-complexioned, he had three eyes and a crescent moon adorned his forehead. His neck was in blue colour. His face shone with the brilliance of ten million of the moon. He was indeed the abode of great beauty."
"Speak out the boon you wish to choose, speak out the boon," he replied with a celestial voice
"O' Śiva, the immanent lord. Forgive me. I'm just shocked to see you." I joined my hands.
"We've finally met each other," he replied.
"O'Lords of lord and Ocean of mercy, O' great Yogin, What did I do to get this opportunity to see you." I still kept my hands joined.
"O' Dhakshayani. It's the devotion and love you had towards me that made me come to you." he smiled.
"I couldn't refrain myself from you, Mahadeva. I couldn't stop myself from reading about you, learning about you and praying for you. You are the great Purusa, the lord, beyond this universe. You took pity on a simple devotee like me." I couldn't stop myself from bowing down for him.
"Get up, my lady. You aren't a mere devotee to me" he held my shoulders
**"Aarya Shiva, Forgive me." I heard the voice again.**
I took a step back and closed my ears.
"O'beloved Dhaksha, what has happened?" he asked me.
"I keep hearing this voice of a lady calling out for you," I replied.
"It's time for you to know about yourself, Dhaksha," he replied.
"About myself?"

                    Aradhanareeshwara Avatar

In just a heartbeat, he transformed into the divine embodiment of Aradhanareeshwara, a beautiful fusion of half Shiva and half Shakti. The other half of him bore a striking resemblance to me

"Listen carefully O'my dear Dhaksha! Goddess Dhakshayani my beloved is you. Reincarnation of Parvati. You were born as the sister of Vasudeva Krishna in this avatar. There is no Shiva without Sakthi. You shall tell this world that women are equal to men and no men shall take control over any woman. This avatar of my Patni Dhakshayani shall give freedom to women. This is the reason why you were sent here by Vishnu. To see this your Mahadeva." he said.
I bowed my head down.
"Is this all true, My lord?" I bowed my head down.
I couldn't look straight into him.

He shifted back to his Lord Shiva self and walked towards me as everything started to move. The world was resumed.

"You may raise." he smiled. " My dear, Supriya, this is your fate. You shall stand for the woman's society and your avatar shall be known to the world as Woman's protector." he lifted my head.

I was still astonished by the truth about myself.  Whereas, Arjuna and everyone were already on their knees praying to Lord Shivas.

"You were destined to come here, my dear Dhaksha. You shall fulfil the purpose of your reincarnation and shall come to me after your death. My blessings will always be with you." He held my shoulder.
"Is that why my heart wanted to read more about you and pray for you?  Is this the reason behind my devotion and love towards you?"
"Devotion comes from the bottom of the heart.  It has nothing to do with the birth." he smiled at me.
"I'm unable to take everything in, Mahadeva. Is this true? Am I dreaming?" I asked him.
"My dear, Dhakshayani, It's okay. Take your time. This Mahadev will wait for you," he replied.

"O'my dear, Arjuna, you shall take care of Dhaksha. You were destined to marry  Dhakshayani and make her your better half. You are carrying the other half of the Śiva himself. You shall help her fulfil the purpose of her birth, " he said.

"I will, Mahadeva." Arjuna greeted him
He blessed everyone.
"Take care, my supriya." He vanished as he said.
"Dhaksha!!!," Arjuna Aarya called me.
I still couldn't come back to normal.

"Dhaksha, are you alright?" Aarya asked.
"How can I be alright?" I zoomed back to normal
"Aren't you happy that you met our Mahadev?" Bheem na asked.
"I'm happy. But aren't you guys shocked about this?"
"Dhaksha, you are the sister of Vasudeva Krishna, Incarnation of Vishnu. You ought to be a divine child." Yudhistran na replied. "It's Arjuna's good deeds that have made him your consort."
"I'll be happy and privileged to be your spouse, my dear Dhaksha," Arjuna replied.
"I still can't process a single thing into my head."
"As Mahadev, we shall fight for the woman's society. We'll help you fulfil the purpose of your birth, Dhaksha." Bheem na said.
"Am I dreaming? Am I the incarnation of Parvati? But why was I born in Kali Yuga? The one who can clear my head is my brother Vasudeva Krishna."
"Who is that, Bhaiya? You, stop right there." Nakula shouted.
"What happened, Nakula?" Yudhistran na asked.
"He's the spy of Duruyodhana," Sahadev replied.
"Let him convey the news to him. It's going to scare them away." Bheem laughed.

"Keep three more," Bheem asked.
"Should I eat the stones in the forest if you eat everything we have, Vayuputra?" I asked.
He laughed and gulped some more fruits.
"Is your stomach a dustbin? Everything goes in every time of the day." I asked.
"You eat, Nakula." I kept the fruits to him.
"What shall I eat?" Bheem asked.
"Eat some from my plate, Aarya," Draupadi replied.
"Nobody's concerned about me except her." Bheem gulped the fruits of Draupadi's plate.

"Bheem always reminds me of my brother Manuel. He always acted as if I was his worst enemy and he would secretly pour all this brotherly love."

I stepped outside the hut to wash my hands that's when I heard someone calling out for help.
"Help me. Someone please," I heard a man's voice.
It was coming from the north side of our hut which had a dark cave.
"Help!!" I heard it again.
I ran to the cave and I shouted, " Is anyone there?"
"Right here. To your left, devi" he called out.
There was an old man who was stuck in the quicksand.

To be continued...

What do you think about, Dhaksha being the incarnation of Parvati?

Will she know what's the mystery behind all these?

Will she save that old man?

How will the journey change further?
