Chapter-15|Game of dice Part 1

"Rajkumari Dhaksha, King Yudhistran have lost the bet on his jewellery," Maid informed us.
"It's okay. It's just our jewels." Draupadi added.
"Oh my god. The shit is happening. What am I supposed to do?"

"Rajkumari Dhaksha, King Yudhistran lost the bet on the horses and elephants he got from Rajasuya Yoga, " the maid informed us.
"Let's be brave. Just stay put," Draupadi held my shoulders.
"Let me go down." I walked out.
"No, I can't let you out." the soldier stopped me.
"Move out of my way," I shouted.
"It's Chakrvathi's order." he blocked.
"Sakhi, Calm down." Draupadi pulled me.

"Rajkumari Dhaksha, King Yudhistran lost all his.." she stammered
"What happened?" I exclaimed.
"He lost all his wealth," she finished.
"I knew this was coming. What am I supposed to do? Oh, god show me some way."

"Wealth can't buy our happiness. They would have finished their game by now," Draupadi replied.

Arjuna's Pov

"My brother lost all his wealth in the game of dice and was standing idle holding dharma in his hand.  Shakuni started to mock my brother and provoke him at each stage and demanding to stake which made him lose his mind."

"I bet on Nakula, my 4th brother," Yudhistran Na fell into his trap.

"I'm starting to think why Dhaksha refused to play this at first. She might've known these were up to something like this."

"You are Dharmaseelar indeed," Shakuni smiled.
"Let's just hope that he wins," Bheem Na replied.
"They're cheating on rolling the dice," Sahadev whispered to me.

"You've lost your brother, Dharmaseelarae," Shakuni faked to be sad.
"See. Our brother is getting tricked." Sahadev replied.

Soon they made him bet on our brother Sahadev and made him lose him too.

"It's the best that you've only lost your stepbrothers, not your brothers. Am I right?" Shakuni smiled.

With tears welling in his eyes, he responded softly, "To me, all my brothers are equal."
"Is it? But you didn't bet on your brothers. You did on your step-brothers. Am I right, Duruyodhana?"Shakuni smirked.

"I bet on my 2nd brother, Arjuna," he shouted back.

"He's getting manipulated. My brother can't do anything. His dharma is important to him. Why would god put us in this position?"

Soon he bet on my brother Bheem and lost him too.

"I really can't bear to watch this, Arjuna," Bheem na said, his voice trembling as tears began to well up in his eyes.

Shakuni's pov

As planned our plan went on real well.
"My son make sure that Karna shouldn't be here," I whispered to Duruyodhana.
"Yes, Mamashree. Don't you worry about that," he replied

That's when I noticed a maid coming from Dhaksha and Draupadi's chambers. She might be revealing information about the game to her.

"My dear, Aswathama, go stop the maid," I whispered to him.

Dhaksha's pov

"Why isn't the maid bringing me any news?" Draupadi shouted.
"Let me through!!" I shouted to the guard.
"I've already told you. I can't leave you to the courtroom. You're supposed to stay in your chambers."
"Please help us. My husband is at that courtroom getting manipulated by that Shakuni and Duruyan. Here have my jewels and whatsoever you want. But please let me through." I kneeled.

His facial expressions changed.
"Rajkumari Dhaksha, please don't beg to me. I'm a mere Soldier. Alright. Please come with me. I can lead you to the door. But after that, you have to take care." he replied.

"Thank you so much." I thanked him.
"Please don't thank me. It's my privilege to help you, Mata Dhaksha." he replied.

Arjuna's pov

At this moment of my brother's complete defeat including himself, he was again mocked to-
