**Diana's POV**

"Diana, you need to sleep right now. It's already 12:30 am." I heard my mom shout from the kitchen.
"Amma, I'm so close to the end of Mahabharatham! Rajkumaran Arjuna is just about to finish his Vanvasam and head back to Indraprastha with Subhadra," I pleaded, my voice echoing with excitement.
"Diana, I can't let you stay up any longer. This is the hundredth time I've heard you say this. Put your phone down and get some rest. You'll need your strength for tomorrow," she responded, raising her voice out of concern.

"Alright, Amma. I'll do as you say," I replied quietly.
"I suppose that means I have to wake up early tomorrow. I wonder what plans she has for me... maybe we'll just go to church," I thought, feeling a mix of resignation and curiosity.
"Diana, are you awake? Tomorrow is your brother's death anniversary. We have to attend mass at church and visit his grave together," she said softly, her voice tinged with sorrow.

I feigned sleep, but inside, my heart felt heavy. Tears escaped my eyes as memories of my brother, my Chimchim, flooded back. He had left this world a few years ago, but I always felt his presence with me.
"He may be gone, but he is forever in my heart, my Chimchim"
I closed my eyes tightly, hoping for rest.

A bright light illuminated my surroundings. A regal figure stood by the shore, adorned with jewels and wearing yellow sandals, exuding an otherworldly presence. I couldn't help but be captivated by him as the gentle breeze swept through me, pulling me back to reality.
I moved closer, curiosity overpowering me. He held a flute in one hand.

"Is it really you, Vasudeva? Could this be Krishna?" I drifted closer, mesmerized.
"Yes, my dear," he replied, his voice resonating with a divine warmth.

"Diana, wake up and get ready!" My mother's voice jolted me awake.
This was the first time I had ever dreamt of Krishna.
"So after all these years, you choose to visit me now, Kanha?"

As we exited the church after mass, my heart felt so heavy with sorrow. All I could think about was my brother. Tears welled up in my eyes as I stood before his grave, feeling his enduring spirit surround me despite the ache in my heart.

My mother gently held my hand, offering comfort, and I clasped her hand tightly. Together, we found solace in each other's presence, struggling to cope with our shared grief. As we made our way back to the car, I wiped away my tears, still lost in my thoughts.

"Dhaksha?" A familiar voice called out to me.
I turned, startled.
There, by the seashore, stood a man with an impressive physique, playing the flute.
"No one plays the flute quite like our Kanha in his Raasa Leela."

The peacock feathers on his crown swayed gently in the ocean breeze, and he wore the same yellow sandaled attire from my dreams. His back was to me, and a sense of doubt crept in as I approached, wondering if he might just be an actor dressed as Krishna.

"Dhaksha, it is I," he said, turning towards me.
"You who? And why call me Dhaksha?"

As he faced me, I recognized him as the same man from my dream—the one with the divine presence and the gentle smile.

"Could it truly be? Am I imagining things? How could I possibly be standing before Bhagavan Sri Vasudeva Krishna?"

"Dear one, why don't you recognize me?" he asked, his voice filled with kindness.
"Are you truly Bhagavan Sri Krishna?" I thought to myself.
"Yes, dear. I am your Krishna." He stepped closer, radiating warmth.
"Is this real? Can I really be seeing you? This doesn't seem possible."

"You don't believe it could be me?" he teased lightly.
"Honestly, you resemble Krishna even more than Krishna himself," I replied with a chuckle, feeling the tension ease just a bit.

"Let's reminisce about that time you tricked your parents for a trip to the amusement park... or perhaps your many crushes? Vikram, Aditya, and how you've always dreamed of being part of the Mahabharata," he smiled knowingly.
"Goodness, is he truly Lord Vishnu?"
"Yes, dear," he affirmed with a nod.
His smile was so disarming.

"Govindha, what brings you here? You are loved by so many, and yet you chose to visit me, someone who doesn't even adhere strictly to Hindu customs. I just left the church moments ago, believing you wouldn't hear my prayers."
"Oh, my sweet Dhaksha. I could not bear to see you suffer from the loss of your brother. I wanted to reassure you that you are not alone. I honor those who love and respect me, regardless of their birthright. Everyone has their own path to divinity, and I see the love in your heart. I couldn't let you suffer in silence."

"You seem to know my soul so deeply, Vasudeva. Losing my brother was the most challenging time in my life. It was devastating for us. We cling to the belief
that he is still with us. I kept sharing my sorrows and worries with you, as if you were my brother."

"My dear, I will always be with you as your brother. That bond is unbreakable, no matter the distance or circumstance. "Now, ask me for your wish, Dhaksha."

"Why do you keep calling me by the name Dhaksha? I'm Diana."
"Dhaksha suits you more." he bent down to my height.
"Dhaksha? It does suit me."
"You will get to know soon that Dhaksha suits you," he said in a mischievous tone.
"Here he goes again Kanha's words and it's 1000 meanings. Shame on me I don't even know one of them."

"Vasudeva, do you remember when you enlightened Rajkumar Arjuna about Karma-Yoga and Bhakti-Yoga during the war? You presented yourself as the supreme being, he got your real Dharisana. I've always wondered about getting your Dharisana. Can I at least get a glimpse of it before my death, my god?" I bend my heads

"Oh my dear, Dhaksha, is that what you want? Don't you want anything now?" he lifted my head.

His gentle fingertips brushed against my skin for the very first time, and in that moment, I felt the warmth and presence of the supreme God of this Universe, the God of this Lokha. It was a sensation unlike any other.

"Govindha, what could I possibly wish for?" I asked, gazing up at him with a smile. "Could it be that I might stay by your side and admire you like this for all eternity, my God?"

"How about this," he replied playfully, dipping his hand into the water. "What if I take you with me to the Epic Mahabharata? We could journey to Dvapara Yug together."

As his palm skimmed the surface of the water, it shimmered even more brightly, reflecting the joy in my heart.

"Really, Kanha? Is that something you can do? I would be overjoyed to experience the Mahabharata firsthand. I wouldn't change a thing, I promise. Just to witness it and feel every moment—please let me be part of that story. I assure you, the future here won't disturb the past." My smile widened with hope.
"Dhaksha, I can't guarantee you'll see my true form, but I've made up my mind to take you back in time. Let's talk about my true nature later," he laughed warmly. "But there's one condition: you mustn't alter the past or share anything about the future. Can you do that for me?"

"Is this really happening? Am I dreaming?" I wondered in disbelief.

"It's very real, Dhaksha. Don't overthink it," he said, giving my head a gentle pat. "Now, promise me."
"Absolutely, I cross my heart and hope to die," I replied earnestly.
