Prologue

"Why are you like this?" a woman shouted.

"Your time is running." a man in a black cloak smirked. As if on cue a black shadow appeared behind the woman's back.

Suddenly I heard a baby's cry. I looked at the woman who's carrying the small angel in her hand.

The woman groaned in pain as the black shadow started to coil in her neck. The baby's cry goes louder and louder as the man infront of them laughed evilly.

Then out of nowhere a ball of light sprints towards the mans direction.

Balisa akong bumangon mula sa pagkakahiga. I rolled my eyes. Paulit-ulit na lang ang panaginip na iyon. Don't get me wrong! I'm not one of those who believes in magic. It's just that that dream is really confusing the hell out of me.

"Celestia, bumangon ka na diyan!" the loud shout made me come back to my senses.

Phew! Muntik ko nang makalimutan may pasok pa pala ako ngayon.

Muli akong humiga. I'm so tired! At ngayon ay Lunes. Another freaking day.

Agad akong bumangon at naligo. I stared at my reflection on the mirror. I touched the small birthmark under my left collarbone. Kakaiba ang kulay nito, it's almost blue with a mix of red. Very rare from the reddish or blueish one.

I shrugged. Pinagpatuloy ko ang paliligo at nang matapos ay nagbihis. I combed my long straight hair. The blueish and violet strands on it made me stopped for a bit.

I sighed. I feel different from others. Para akong isang kakaibang tao na inihanay sa mga normal. Even my eye color is not normal.

Kakulay ito ng isang dagat na hinaluan ng lila. It's very rare. Bumaba na ako at dumiretso sa sala.

The usual setting of my morning is not complete without the scolding and insulting of my mother.

"You really are slow! God Celestia, araw-araw na lang ba? How can you not be able to manage my own business?" emphasizing the 'own' ay kumuyom ang aking kamay.

I'm so tired of this shit na kahit gusto kong ipaglaban ang aking sarili ay walang kahit ano ang lumalabas sa aking bibig.

"Ate what's going on?" Dayle appeared out of nowhere. I smiled at him and weakly shook my head.

Tinapos ko ang aking pagkain at agad umakyat sa taas. Bitbit ang isang maliit na luggage ay bumaba ako ng staircase.

Hindi ako maglalayas if that's what you are thinking. Ibinababa ko lang ulit ang maleta na dala ko noon galing sa dorm. At dahil simula na naman ng pasukan ay kailangan doon na ulit ako umuwi.

My Mother tsked at me when I kissed her on the cheek. I looked for my little brother and hugged him tightly then bid a goodbye.

Pagkasakay ko ng kotse ay agad itong umandar at tinahak ang daan papunta sa aking University.

Pumikit ako at agad na hinila ng antok. I slept for about an hour nang tumigil ang kotse. Lumabas si manong at nagpaalam na iihi lang sa tinigilang gas station.

I nodded and get out of the car. Masyadong nangimay ang balakang ko sa pagkakaupo.

If you're wondering kung bakit hindi man lang ako nagpapanick na late na ako ay dahil yun sa hindi naman talaga ngayon Lunes.

It's just that naging mannerism ko nang tawaging Lunes ang araw ng Linggo dahil na rin siguro na sa tuwing Linggo ako umuuwi sa dorm mula sa bahay.

Umihip ang hangin at nilipad ang buhok ko. Isang kaluskos ang narinig ko sa 'di kalayuan kaya naman nilapitan ko ito.

My body froze the moment I saw floating rocks. What the heck? Gusto kong sumigaw at tumakbo ngunit walang kahit isa sa mga ito ang nagawa ko.

Nakatayo lang ako doon at pinapanood ang dalawang nakaitim na lalake na para bang nag-aaway.

Nag-aaway sila pero...ang nakapagtataka bakit may mga lumilipad na bato? The other man hit the other one causing for it to fall and...jump to a black hole?

Matapos makita ang pagtalon ng isang lalaki sa hindi ko maipaliwanag na butas ay agad akong napamura causing the other man to looked at my direction.

Napaatras agad ako at nanginginig na hinarang ang dalawang kamay sa harapan.

"W-who are you?" Utal kong tanong. Ang talim ng titig nito ay mas tumalim. Maya-maya ay bumuntong hininga ito at agad nagbago ang ekspresyon.

"Tara." I looked at him. Nalilito akong umatras kaya naman lumapit ito sa akin.

"Nakita mo ang enchant ko. You should be dead by now but then I'll let you choose. Sasama ka sa akin o papatayin kita?"

"W-what?" I stuttered. A hard thing on my throat stopped me from swallowing. Nanuyo ang lalamunan ko.

Is this a joke? A bluff? A hidden camera? Just tell me what the fuck is it! Heck ito na ba yun? Dito na ba ako magtatapos?

Lumapit sakin ang lalaki kaya dali-dali akong tumakbo. Ngunit hindi pa nakakalayo ay agad akong natigilan ng nakitang hindi ako umaalis sa aking pwesto.

The man sigh, frustrated. It took me minutes after realizing na kapag hindi ako sumama at nagpumilit pang manlaban ay baka nga patayin niya ako.

A bitter smile escaped my lips. This is the end. I will need to say goodbye to the world where i used to grow.

Slowly I faced the man and nodded.

"Sasama ako." saad ko. I don't know kung ano ang naghihintay sa akin sa pagsama sa kaniya but that's actually more better than ending my wonderful existence in this world.

Tumango sa'kin ang lalaki at ngumiti. Maya-maya ay pinikit nito ang mata and my eyes widened when a big black hole appeared infront of us.

"It's a portal. Don't worry hindi kita ipapahamak." the man assured me.

Tumango ako at nilingon ang lugar kung nasaan ang kotse namin. I stopped when I saw my luggage floating towards us.

I swallowed. Guess what, parang hindi ko talaga kayang paniwalaan ang mga nakikita ko. This is just one of my dreams back then!

Tinapik ako ng lalake matapos makalapit ng luggage sa akin.

"Say your last word to this world." he spat while looking at me.

"See them again." I smiled. Iginiya ako ng lalake sa portal at agad pinapasok.

Entering the portal for me was a blurry. I just found out myself selflessly sitting on the grass beside my luggage.

The man laughed at me. Inilahad niya ang kaniyang kamay sa akin. Tumayo ako mag-isa at saka ko lang napagtanto na wala na ako sa mundo ng tao.

"Welcome to our world." the man said in a happy tone. Iginala niya ang paningin niya kaya naman napagaya ako sa kaniya.

I roamed my eyes on the view that just made my jaw literally dropped.

An unexplainable feeling crumpled inside me as I watched the view.

The rising sun welcomed me as I deeply inhaled at the breathtaking view.

Isang napakalaking siyudad ang bumungad sakin. With it's crowded people. Everything looks normal not until I saw a group of people. They're infront of those floating flower and manipulating it.

Ang ganda! Halos ilan pang parang kastilyo ang nakita ko na malamang ay hinaharangan ng matatayog na pader. Makikita sa Eastern side nito ang isang napakalaking imprastaktura na para bang palasyo sa laki. Kaya lang ay masyado itong malayo na para bang sinadya ang distansya nito mula sa maingay na bayan.

"Let's go." I looked at the man and nodded. Binitbit niya ang luggage ko habang pababa kami sa burol kung saan kami bumagsak.

Nang makababa ay pumara siya ng isang taxi? It looks like a taxi to me but ng pumasok ako sa loob ay mas lalo akong namangha. This is not an ordinary taxi!

Sa loob nito ay sobrang luwag. There's a small table and the chair is a couch like. Umupo ako doon at instant na agad na may nag appear na pagkain.

"Woah!" the man laughed at my reaction.

"Manong sa Magthonous Academy po." tumango ang driver at ngumiti sa lalake.

"I'm Cad by the way." pakilala ng lalake saka naglahad ng kamay. Tiningnan ko ko ito at inabot.

"Celestia Morgan." I said. Tumango ang lalake at ngumiti.

"Pupunta tayo ngayon sa Magthonous Academy. Gaya ng sinabi ko, you should be dead by now but binigyan kita ng choice. A normal people like you shouldn't know about us and our enchant in the mortal world but since you did. Isinama kita dito." he paused when the driver looked at us, binalik din naman agad nito ang tingin sa daan.

"You'll be staying in Magthonous Academy for you to learn our world. Meaning mabubuhay ka ng tulad namin minus the enchant part." dugtong niya.

Kumunot ang noo ko. "You said you have powers-"

"Enchant." pagtatama niya. I nodded and continue.

"Enchant. So how am I supposed to live in that Academy without your so called 'enchant'?" I asked. He looked at me for a while before answering.

"You'll be given a wand. That is to provide your needs inside Magthonous Academy. But the wand will only worked with a book. More like a book of spell."

"You mean magiging witch ako?" tanong ko. Narinig ko ang halakhak ng driver kaya naman nagtaka ako.

"No. I mean we don't call it witch, it is called wizards." tumango ako.

"But paano yung ibang may mga enchant?" I asked.

"They are called enchanters." Saad niya.

Enchanters?

"Enchanters like us can manipulate things because we are born with it. While wizards uses spells to manipulate but other wizards doesn't use spell nor wands because they can cast spell naturally. Meaning they are also born with it." tumabingi ang ulo ko saka tumango.

So, merong mga wizards na talagang meron ng kapangyarihan na mag cast ng spell.

"Marami bang wizards...I mean tao na naging wizards sa Magthonous Academy?" he shook his head.

"There are three pero dahil dumagdag ka. It is now four." my eyes widened.

"So may tao nga sa Magthonous Academy?" I exclaimed happily.

He nodded at parang buong sistema ko ang nagdiwang matapos marinig iyon.

Saktong tumigil ang sasakyan saka bumaba ang lalake pati ako.

Kinuha niya ang luggage sa likuran saka ako tinapik.

"Welcome to Magthonous Academy the enchanters academy." he smiled at me.

Humarap ako sa napakataas na pader. Matayog ang mga ito at halos kapantay nito ang bakal na gate. Slowly, the gate opened making me swallowed hard as the view welcomed me with elegant and gigantic statues, fountains, trees and a... Palace.
