Mallory pov

I looked to the dinner table and spit my mead out in shock. "ACK! EASY WOMAN! YOU COULD OUT A FIRE WITH THAT MUCH!" Half-born shouted beside me. I clamped a hand over his mouth and pointed to the newbie table.

Everyone looks. "No way." Josh mutters. Jessica shakes her head. Magnus simply glared at him.

"How did he get back here?!" Ray spat the words out like venom. I shook my head at a loss for words.

"I don't know." I took another glance. Sitting at the table was a seven foot tall man. Even sitting down he was easily five feet. He had red hair and startlingly red eyes with a red sleeveless shirt. Gods that's a lot of red.

Cole had returned.

I awoke with a start and slammed my head on the headboard of my bed. "Cac!" I cursed. I got up and woke up Half-born. Now time for my gentle way of waking him. "WAKE UP SMELLY OAF! YOU'RE SLEEPING ON TOP OF ME!"

His eyes fluttered open. "Are you complaining about that?" He asked. I stuck my tongue out at him. He groaned. "Alright let's go get Jessica and Ray for dinner." He got up and stretched from his relaxing nap.

As we walked down to Jessica's room, I told Half-born about my dream. When I got to Cole his eyes flashed. "Cole isn't bad!" He said, "His job it to protect a group of heroes who are destined to save the nine worlds countless times!" He threw his hands up. I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever let's get Jess and Ray. Ray told me shed be in Jessica's room because Ratatosk got into her room and trashed it." I mutter. We got to Jessica's room and knocked. No answer.

"Allow me." Half-born said. He pushed the door and it collapsed. We walked in and saw two forms cuddled up in Jessica's electric blue, lightning patterned, blankets.

Their hands were running up and down each others sides as their lips attacked each others battling for dominance. Small high pitched moans escaped Ray's lips as they were attacked by Jessica's. Finally, Jessica went to kiss Ray's neck. Ray turned her head to make it easier then she saw us.

She yelped and buried her head under the blankets. Jessica turned and looked at us. Her face flushed a deep crimson. "Hey guys."

"Whatever you're doing here," I said, "you can't tell me its the dam squirrels fault." Ray laughed under the covers and poked her head out, her braces glinted.

"OK so we're together." She said, "Big deal, go ahead and collect Blackmail. We don't care." Jessica looked like she very much cared but she nodded.

"Nope we dont care at all." Jessica said.

I laughed. "Its OK," I helped them out of bed, "come on let's get dinner." We all walked out of the room Jessica and Ray holding hands.

"One last thing," Half-born said, "If the names are Jessica and Ray....we are totally calling you guys Jay from now on."

We all burst out laughing.
