Cole Gets A Quest... wait. Oh no.

Cole pov

I woke up and looked to my left to see an empty bed with ruffled blankets. I could hear water running in the bathroom so I decided Dez was taking a shower.

I stood up and saw I was stuck in my son of Ares form. "Son of a Starbucks!" I cursed. I activated my holo-me and snuck out of Valhalla.

I, once again, opened the portal to the strawberry fields but didn't see any Demeter kids. I shrugged and walked over to the camps borderline. I always tended to enjoy looking at Thalia's tree. It made me believe that everyone got a second chance.

Thalia died fighting but her soul was put on a tree. Then, like ten years ago, Percy came and put the golden fleece on the branches to save Thalia's tree after it was poisoned by Luke, son of Hermes. The fleece then brought the tree back to a healthy form but it worked too well and Thalia was back. She was given a second chance at life.

I inspected the tree but something seemed off. First off, Peleus, the dragon that encircled the tree (he sorta reminds me of Jormungandr), wasn't there. He must've been out hunting. Secondly, littered around the tree were many pine needles. Oh no. I looked up and paled.

"I need some Hecate kids over here now!" I shouted.

That's when Hades broke loose.

I was one of the only friendly Ares kids here and I was also respected. People had seen me crush rocks with my bare hands. So when I called for help, people knew it couldn't be good.

I heard the patter of hooves approaching as Chiron the centaur galloped up to me. Mr. D appeared beside him looking quite bored. The entire camp ran up and shoved three kids up to the front.

I recognized the three. All kids of Hecate. Alex, Rose, and Tulip. "What's wrong?" Tulip asked as she fiddled nervously with her glasses.

I pointed up. "The fleece is gone." I said. No sooner had I said that, a cyclops over six feet tall, burst through the magic barrier over on the far side of the camp. He roared and slammed his club on the ground.

"I got him!" I said, "This looks fun!" Before anyone could protest, I leaped and ran at him.

"Hey ugly!" I yelled. I punched him in the foot and he yelped. He looked around until I whistled getting his attention. "Yo big guy! Down here left foot!" He snorted at me. "You're big," I growled, "fought bigger!"

I leapt and imagined a spear in my hand. I closed my fist and an actual spear was in my hand. I felt electricity crackling through it and I slammed it into the Cyclopes skull. He roared and fell to the dirt with a loud THUMP!

I walked back and gave Clarisse back her spear. She glared at me. "We need a quest." Chiron said, "And I think Cole needs to lead."

I smiled. "Gladly." Then I realized, "Wait. We don't even have any starting ideas as to who took the fleece and where it could be!"

Chiron smiled and looked to the mob. "Come forward mighty seven."

I spit out the water I had just sipped from my canteen. "Excuse me? The seven? As in Jason Grace, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Piper McLean, Frank Zhang, Hazel Levesque, and the always awesome Leo Valdez?!"

Just as I said that, they all stepped forward. Frank, Hazel, Percy, and Annabeth were visiting from camp Jupiter and what better timing.

"Cole," Chiron started, "Go to the new oracles cave. Go speak to Rachel Elizabeth Dare."

I nodded and walked to her cave with the seven behind Me. Leo walked beside me and pulled out some gears. He fiddled with them for a few seconds then tossed it into the air. The tiny helicopter blades spun but stopped twenty feet ahead and exploded.

"That's awesome dude!" I told him.

Leo smirked. "Its ok I guess," he said in his light Latino accent, "it would be better if I had some rubber bands."

I walked to the cave entrance and told the others to wait for me. I entered the cave and looked around at the couches and the artists easels everywhere marveling the beauty of the paintings.

"Wow." I muttered under my breath.

"Yea," said a voice behind me, "they're cool aren't they." I turned around to see a girl with frizzy red hair and green eyes with speckles of paint on her face. She had tattered blue jeans with lots of paint stains and an orange Camp Half-Blood shirt on.

"Hey Rachel," I told her, "Sorry to be short, but I need a prophecy."

"I know," she told me, "ok hold on." After a minute, her green eyes widened. She spoke in a monotone voice.

"To bring back the fleece,
One must fight the first king of kings of Greece.
Son of war battles the stars.
Opening the old ones scars.
The seven shall rise once again
To stop the wrath of the sky
And all of demigods could die.
The son of war fights til he can open no doors.
Along beside the mighty Norse.
Thunders call and wars sounding.
Stopping bones from building.
The once high one shall fall or rise
The sky once again either lives or dies."

Then Rachel collapsed in a heap. I lifted her and placed her on her bed.

I walked outside and told everyone to prepare. This was going to be a long long quest. Also I would need the help of some Einherjar. I told everyone we were leaving tomarrow then I went back to Valhalla knowing that I would have to tell them that I was more than Norse. The worst part was that Magnus and Alex would have to let Helgi watch Leo and Atali. Gods they're gonna ring my neck.

Thx for reading there will be a part 2 and more. Also how'd I do on that prophecy. Cause that took a while to think up. Tell me what you think on the comments!
