Magnus's Pov

Magnus inhales a deep breath. "Asmodeus." Alec's eyes grow big. "Magnus is that?"

"My loving father." He says bitterly. Alec shakes his head. "You can't Mags. Don't do this." Alec pleads. Magnus shakes his head. "I don't have a choice, Alec." He starts walking towards the couch, burrowing his head in his arms. "Magnus you always have a choice" Alec quoted him.

"Please. Let's get out of here." Magnus shook his head. "If I don't do this, I could lose my position as high warlock. I'm not ready to do that Alexander. That's the only thing I have." Magnus gets up as Lorenzo finished the pentagram. Magnus stands in front of the pentagram as Alec helplessly watches.

"I call upon the power of the pentagram." Magnus's eyes turned golden as he began chanting the words. His hands were controlling a red fire that swirled around them. Asmodeus appears in the pentagram, wearing a human form. He turns to see Magnus. "Well if it isn't my favorite son. Mark? Madness?" Asmodeus smirked.

"Magnus Bane." Magnus says, his tone was unwavering. "Ahhh, Magnus. What do I owe this pleasure?" The prince of hell looked like he was enjoying himself. "I'll take it from here Magnus." Lorenzo says. Asmodeus frowns. "I need you to retrieve dark magic. I'll do anything for it."

Magnus looks over at Alec, who was carefully analyzing the situation but not saying anything. "Dark magic? I can do that. But it comes with a price. Release me. Then I shall give you your magic back." Magnus's eyes grew big as Lorenzo thought carefully.

"I can't do it, Lorenzo. I won't. He would be a lot of trouble for the shadow world and the down world." Lorenzo smirks as he sees Alec getting up and walking towards them. He waves his hands and Alec freezes. Magnus glares at him.

"Dark magic would let me do things that no warlock could do." Magnus knew that this was a battle he was losing, as he became weaker from containing his father. He decides to close the summoning. Lorenzo noticed this and blasts him with a ball of magic, sending him flying backward. "NOOOO!" Asmodeus was free.
