Alec's Pov

Alec had lost all hope by the time they finished searching the last place. He was exhausted and devastated that he couldn't find Magnus. He felt ashamed. Magnus had trusted him to find him and now he wondered if it was too late. "Alexander." Magnus's voice came from the darkness.

Alec's head spun around quickly as a figure limped out of the shadows. "MAGNUS!" Alec screamed as he ran over to him and wrapped his arms around him. He started sobbing, his hands holding onto Magnus like he was the last thing on Earth. Magnus gasped as he held on to him tightly.

They were crying, tears streaming down their face as they kissed each other erratically, holding each and never letting go. Izzy, Jace, and Clary came running in when they heard the crying, only to stop at the sight of the two men. Magnus looked wrecked, almost clinging on to Alec like he was the only thing keeping him from collapsing.

Alec looked relieved and upset and happy all at the same time. He cupped his hands around his lover's face. "I thought I lost you." He said in between sobs. Magnus was too tired to speak, but he kissed Alec like it was the end of the world. Alec pulled back to inspect Magnus. He almost wishes he hadn't.

The older man had bite marks on his neck and looked pale and ashen. He had huge dark circles, and his eyes were rimmed red. "I need to tell you something." Magnus whispered hoarsely. Alec shook his head. "That can wait." He looked at Magnus lovingly.

"Can you walk?" Alec asked softly. Magnus nodded, but the moment he let go of Alec he collapsed. Alec picked him up bridal style, walking out with an unconscious Magnus. Jace and Clary made a portal to Magnus's loft. Alec couldn't think of anything else but the cold body of his boyfriend pushed against him.

He gently placed Magnus on the bed, wrapping him with all the blankets he could find. "He's lost a lot of blood." Izzy noted sniffing. Alec looked up to see that all three of them had tears in their eyes. He didn't realize how much Magnus meant to them. Alec walked over to them and pulled them all into a hug.
