Alec's Pov

"Alright, Magnus. But how do we stop her? Can we put her on trial?" Magnus's breath hitched. "Uh, I'm not sure. It's not particularly smart. She'll get out somehow." Clary's eyes widen. "Are you saying we kill her?" She whispered. Magnus shakes his head.

"Oh, god no I don't think I could ever say that." Alec's mind raced. Does Magnus still like Camille? No that can't be. Magnus is his. "Let's go investigate the affected area first. Then we can figure out what to do." Everyone agreed with Alec, including Jace.

"Magnus should come." Izzy suggested. Magnus looked at her gratefully, happy to be back on missions again. Alec shakes his head. "Nope. Hell no." Alec grumbled. Magnus tilted his head. "That's not your decision to make Alexander." He muttered. Alec started to protest, but he got silenced by everyone else.

Magnus looked upset but Alec felt a heightened need to protect him after what happened earlier. "So we leave tomorrow then." Alec sighed. Everyone nods and leaves the room, including Magnus. "Magnus!" Alec called out quickly. Magnus turned around.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound so controlling. I'm just scared. I don't want you hurt." Alec grabs Magnus's hand and holds onto it tightly. Magnus gives a soft smile. "I know Alexander. But nothing is going to happen that we can't fix. I love you."

Magnus leans in to kiss his boyfriend. Alec was speechless. "Come home tonight, will you?" Magnus winks and walks away, leaving Alec in a state of shock and excitement. "Yes, I will." He whispered happily to himself.
