Magnus's Pov

Magnus rolled his eyes. "I'm not dramatic." He muttered. Izzy and Clary walk in, giggling about a dumb Shadowhunter who had tried to challenge Izzy. They see Magnus and run over, squeezing him tightly from each side. "Oh! God, we missed you!" Clary spoke first.

"Alec wouldn't let us come over. He insisted to be the only one taking care of you." Izzy sighs as she placed a kiss on Magnus's cheek. "Careful. He might break." Alec muttered as the 2 girls assaulted Magnus with kisses. "I don't mind." Magnus whispered, overwhelmed by the affection he was receiving.

Sure, his warlock friends were great, but this was different. It was like Magnus was part of a family. A family that loved him, warlock and all. He closed his eyes, trying not to cry. Jace had started talking about vampires. Izzy and Clary settled in two chairs, listening intently. Alec was staring at Magnus, completely tuning out Jace.

Magnus's eyes glistened as he too was listening to Jace. His gorgeous face furrowed as he contradicted something Jace had said. He was wearing casual clothes, at least for him, a button-up shirt with glitter embroidery and dark leather pants. He looked like the epitome of perfection.

"ALEC!" Jace snapped, Alec's head-turning quickly to face an angered parabati and giggling girls. Magnus smiled fondly as he repeats what Jace had said. "He asked, what do you think?" Magnus teased. Alec nods, gulping. "Yeah good. Very good." Jace, irritated with the vague response, sits down.

Magnus speaks up. "This is a dangerous plan Blondie. Camille is manipulative and dangerous. You should be scared of her. She's not a simple vampire. Going in head first to her nest will result in you getting your pretty ass kicked." Jace blushed at Magnus's cheeky grin. Alec rolled his eyes. He knew that this was a punishment for not listening earlier.
