Chapter 2: My New Life
My New Life
I had been a part of the Fairy Tail family for four weeks now. I had learned a lot in my short time at the Guild.
I learned that Erza could be scary as hell, Gray had a stripping problem, Lucy was writing a novel, and Mira was a matchmaker straight from hell. I had decided that Gajeel and Levy were perfect for one another, (Mira thought so too). Gray had a crazy stalker girl who was in love with him named Juvia. I shipped it. Mira had a brother and sister. The sister, Lisanna, had supposedly come back from the dead or whatever. Elfman, the brother, had something going on with this chick named, Evergreen, who I had not met yet. Mira had informed me that there were a lot of other people in this Guild who I had not met yet. Like, Gildarts, he was supposed to be this big shot S-Class Wizard. I heard that he was even stronger than Erza. I had learned that Mira had a power called Demon or Satin Soul. I was completely surprised by that. Sweet Mira Jane, used something that advanced? Damn. I had been informed that this Guild had three Dragon Slayers in it. Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy. I had been very interested in Natsu Dragneel. Mira had told me that all three were raised by Dragons. She had told me that Natsu and Wendy were still searching for their Dragons. Mira told me that even though Gajeel kept saying that he didn't care what happened to his Dragon, he really did, he was just putting up a strong front. I had informed Gramps and Mira about my power. I had not told them about my past or who I really was. I had no intention of telling them. I had left that life far behind. But, I feared that my past may not be so far away anymore. People may start asking questions. People may start to look for me...if they haven't already. I swished my drink around in my hand as I watched my Guild Mates. I already had a deep respect for them all. I had learned what Magic that they all used. I had heard such amazing stories about them all. I could feel their power. No wonder they called this Guild the strongest in all of Fiore. I wasn't sure but I thought that my Guild Mates liked me. They always smiled at me or waved hello. I did the same. I didn't talk to them though. I usual sat in a corner and read. That's how I had met, Levy McGarden.
My first week at the Guild I had been observing and reading. A small shadow had fallen over me and I had looked up to see a short girl wearing an orange dress. She had short wild blue hair that was in a yellow bandana. She had her hands on her hips and a big smile on her face. "Hi! I'm Levy McGarden, whatcha reading?" Then she sat down right next to me. Levy quickly became my best friend. We talked and talked for hours each day. Levy had told me that she was the leader of Shadow Gear. She even asked me if I wanted to join her and the two boys that awlays followed her around. I declined. I had told her that I worked better alone. She hadn't missed a beat. Levy had just smiled and said that the offer would always be there.
Levy was amazingly nice.
On my third week here I had decided to ask her something. I had been noticing that she kept stealing quick glances at a certain Dragon Slayer. "Levs, you're not fooling anyone." I told her as I flipped a page in my book. Her eyes snapped to me and her cheeks reddened a little. "W-what?" I closed my book and looked at her lazily. "I keep seeing you look over at the Iron Dragon Slayer. Umm..." I couldn't think of his name.
"Gajeel." Levy instantly answered.
I laughed softly under my breath. "Its worse than I thought." I told her.
"Its nothing!" Levy tried to reason. She looked away and she frowned.
"Besides...he doesn't feel the same way."
I blinked at her. I didn't like the sad look she had on her face. I wanted her to smile not frown. My eyes darted to Gajeel. He was chomping on a piece of metal while he argued with Natsu. Both of their Exceeds, Happy and Pantherlily, were watching while they shook their heads at the two Dragon Slayers. I hadn't been introduced to Gajeel yet...Then I got an idea. I looked at Levy and smiled at her. I think the smile was quite devilish.
"Levs, why don't you introduce me to, Gajeel?"
Author's Note: Thanks for everyone who is reading this! Next time is about meeting Gajeel Redfox. I hope you all enjoy.
