Bath time!?

I let out a happy sigh as I slid into the water. I stretched my arms over my head and leaned back. I closed my eyes and let my mind drift.

I had just started to relax when I heard a thump from outside. I opened one eye and looked at the bathroom door. Wha...? I heard another thump and then I could hear the first door to the bathroom bang open.

My eyes widened. No, no, no, no, it couldn't be! I tried to jump out of the tub but that failed and I ended up falling back in with a loud splash that soaked the floor.

I tried to think back if I had locked the bathroom door as I reached out a hand to grab my towel. I had just touched the fabric when the door busted open. I yelped and slid back into the water and prayed that the bubbles covered everything.

On instinct I reached up to grab my necklace. When my hand just touched my bare neck I almost had a heart attack. Where the hell was it? I looked to the doorway and instantly saw the pink hair and the scarf. Anger flowed through me and I picked up the first thing I touched.

My rubber ducky.

I chucked it at him and it hit home. Headshot. "Ow! The hell!" Natsu growled as he stared down at the rubber duck. He lifted his head, saw me, and his whole face turned red. He slammed his hands over his eyes and spun around.

"Natsu! What are you doing?" I yelled. He muttered, "Looking for you." I looked around for something else to throw at his stupid head when I noticed my towel. "Natsu, please, hand me my towel." I asked through clenched teeth.

I saw him nod slightly and he started to reach out his hand to blindly search for it. I tried to direct him to where it was but it didn't work out so well. The baka ended up grabbing my shoulder.

I yelled and hit his arm away. Which caused him to lose his balance and slip on the wet floor. And where did he end up you ask? Where else?

In the tub with me.

I let out a screech when Natsu hit the water and splashed me. He shot up from the water and tried to wipe his eyes. While he was momently blinded I got up and grabbed my towel.

I quickly wrapped the towel around myself and spun to Natsu. Who was still in the water wiping his eyes. Natsu blinked rapidly and looked at me. My anger vanished when I saw him.

His hair wet and hanging around his face. His scarf was full of water and was hanging around his neck limply. And of course his clothes were soaked through.

But what made me laugh was how he had landed in the tub. His feet hung off the side of the tub and his arms were hanging off the other side. While the rest of his body was submerged under the water.

His expression was priceless. His cheeks were pink and this was the first time I had ever seen him look embarrassed before. He awkwardly scratched the back of his head and he avoided looking at me.

I smiled softly and walked over to him. I extended my hand to him, "Come on out, Natsu. Your gonna catch a cold." He blinked his eyes at me and with a toothy grin, took my hand.

I pulled him up and helped him out of the tub. Once he got out he was dripping wet. Then, before I could stop him, he shook his head like a dog.

Water flew everywhere and I brought my hands up to cover my face. "Natsu!" I laughed. He stopped and ran his hand through his now spiky hair.

"You don't have to worry about me catching a cold." Natsu scoffed, "I don't catch colds." Just as the words left his mouth he sneezed. We both looked at each other and we busted out laughing.

Once we had calmed down I told him I'd be right back. I ordered him to stay in here while I went to get some clothes on.

I bent down to pick up the clothes that I had set by the door and winced when I felt my stitches pull against my flesh. I put on a blank face and hurried out of the bathroom before Natsu noticed.

I put on my clothes and rushed back with a towel for Natsu. Only, when I opened the bathroom door, he wasn't there.
