MagMa..🌋
Prologue.
The village of Modëus swims in a depth between ripples of sapphire gleaming liquid. Floating back and forth with no clue of what lies beyond the protection of the engulfing waters,well-except the colossal sizzling volcano at the far West end.
An old man sails his boats gradually at the far base of the lake, casting his fishing nets over into the dancing waters. The sun is low and warm, almost dying out at the end of the left horizon. It's saffron rays of brightness sitting into the silver lining and going down behind it.
The clouds begin to rumble, gathering themselves amidst the sky as if complaining about something known only to them. The thick plumes, like cotton darken harshly with stripes of lightning slapping against them-stricking a fierce light down upon the unending ocean.
The old man gapes frantically as he stands on his feet, his eyes lost in the whirl of clouds that came over the volcano, rudely impeding the goddess' peaceful slumber. It could anger her and the village would suffer the consequences.
He knew not where the peculiar clouds had come from and knew not why they had collected above the goddess' harbor but the one thing he knew for sure was that something was not right....
The village was not safe,he couldn't do anything of course,he was a descendant of a farmer with no skill or obligation towards such matters so he had to paddle fast and get back to the village.
He had to warn the high Court Priest about what was happening-he alone and his trusted council members would know what to do about this sudden phenomenon.
He sat back down briskly, feeling his face and palms seep with sweat as shambles of fright and anxiety to return to the village emanated within him. As he grabbed his paddle,a strong wind blew against his small boat-the old man yelped helplessly as he watched himself and his old boat match against the pungent thrusts of the water.
He could hear the sound of the aging wood creak as it bent to the rhythm of the swashing ocean. He started to speculate that perhaps it was him who was at fault, perhaps he was the one who had enraged the goddess.
"I'm sorry!!!"he screamed out,his voice raspy and hoarse.
He dovetailed his fingers and held them out in invocation, pleading with the superior goddess to spare him despite his disobedience.
The tide suddenly came to a halt, the old man peeked slightly over the side of his boat, eddying his eyes about before he knelt and sighed with relief.
"Thank-you,"he murmured to himself with a weak smile "Thank-you!!!" He rose his hands in praise and laughter.
His once jovial face fell the moment he came face to face with the raging volcano.
"Härshänoäh...."
The tip of the volcano seared with rage as enormous strings of lightning sizzled sharply like fresh razors. The thick mass of cloud had come down and whirled just at its pulsating opening, gathering all her furious bullous spittle before launching her shot.
Heated plumes of smoke blew out into the air, mingling with the pads of clouds-showing just how ready the goddess was to erupt any moment. The old man watched in amazement and terror, bringing his patched hat to his chest as he fearfully kept his eyes up.
He invoked that somehow, the people of the village noticed that Härshänoäh was awake. But no one would come to his rescue,he thought. Everyone would be at the Temple square waiting for her generous consecration-not even a single soul would bother coming ashore.
The only thing he was left with now was to pray that he wasn't destroyed by the forthcoming eruption.
It was odd how,the volcano had come to life sooner than expected. It was hard to tell if the goddess was bringing blessings or punishment. But the way the volcano rumbled didn't give any consolation for prized riches.
So the old man awaited his fate as he gave up and decided to see and witness himself how their protector ejected what lay beneath the throat of the mountain.
The water begun to tremble, lifting everything that sat on it and moving them about in trepidations. The old man held himself tightly against his boat,as the volcano now sought the height of its euphoria.
There was a loud bang and earthquake like burst that juddered the water and towards the village-bouncing it about dangerously.
It didn't seem like Härshänoäh was gifting them this time-the spurts of her deep crimson lava flashed into the air and sunk into the water, sending the old boat and it's owner into whirls until oblivion.
The thick clouds and plumes of smoke now retreated from the volcano;her cum seeping at the sides of its ragged impediment and drying into hard rocks of solid scarlet stone. The old man was finally able to paddle to the shore, falling out of his boat to the beach and gasping out for air.
He crawled on the sand, tears in his eyes for his survival. He lay back down, thrusting his head in the warm sand and exhaling until he eased his hyperventilated nerves. As he lost himself in glee, he heard loud searing from a distance. He sat up frantically with the idea of still being exposed to the hand of death but he stopped in the awe inspiring moment before his eyes.
The water gleamed seraphically as the debris of the volcano's spit adhered to each other. The tiny droplets rose to the air, touching themselves and taking an irregular form. The old man's face twitched nebulously as he watched the saffron rocks melt with the water into a shape of a human,a girl to be exact.
He blinked endlessly as the water availed the melted lava to create this body;curving out the face to fit soft and subtle features, her hands spread out of the irregular ball of orange, cutting out the fingers.
Then small round breasts on her chest, her stomach being flat with the shape of an hourglass;legs also curved out to be long and emphatically well shaped especially around the hips.
Finally when this creation was complete,an evenly shaped emerald stone rose from the ocean and settled at the centre of the numb body. A frisson of green waves rippling all through the shape.
Slowly, the body was gently pushed back into the water. Few seconds after its immersion, the feminine body floated towards where the old man sat in confusion.
He crawled next to the naked body and stared at it.
What was it? Who was it?
All he knew, was it had come from the volcano lava. The old man quickly took off his jacket and wrapped it around the petite girl who still lay unconscious Infront of him.
What would he do know?
