Kai sat down on the bed in the mini bounty. He looked around and sighed. Cole entered and shut the door. “Hey, Kai? Don’t worry about your sister, I made sure she was set for the night, kay?”

Kai smiled at Cole and nodded. This was why he loved him. He made sure everything was taken care of, even if it wasn’t his responsibility. Plus, he was kind, strong, his body was well shaped and-

Kai smacked himself in the face. What was he thinking? They were on a mission! He can’t be all goo goo eyed yet! Cole looked over at Kai and smirked.

“Awe, what’s wrong, baby?” He climbed onto Kai’s lap, flustering the shit out of him. “You’re not… thinking about me naked, are you?”

Kai’s face turned a bright tomato red and he shoved Cole off his lap. “C-cole!” He shouted.

Cole laughed and climbed back up. “Is… that a yes?”

Kai pouted and looked away, refusing to answer. Cole sighed, using his hand to turn Kai’s head to look at him. He kissed Kai passionately, and Kai’s heart fluttered. The soft feeling of Cole’s lips and the way he moved… It was a strange sensation, yet pleasurable at the same time. Kai kissed back, and well. One thing led to another.

The next morning, Kai woke up and the lower half of his body ached. He was in Cole’s arms and the light was shining through. An earthy scent radiated off his lover as he breathed in the morning air. Cole shifted slightly, startling Kai out of his thoughts.

“Baby~” Cole said, nuzzling into the crook of Kai’s neck. “Stop moving…”

“Pebble… I’m not moving. You are.” Kai laughed a little. Cole suddenly bit Kai’s neck startling him. “C-COLE?!?” He attempted to jump up, but Cole had a firm grip on him. He continued biting Kai’s neck. “COLE MY ASS HURTS ENOUGH ALREADY, DO NOT START THIS UP AGAIN.”

Cole moved his head to look down at Kai. “Your ass hurts? Huh. Mine doesn’t. Did I do it wrong?”

“More like you were the d-”

Nya knocked on the door, interrupting Kai from finishing that sentence that I did not give him permission to. “Hey, Kai? Cole? You are going to wanna see this…”

Kai and Cole exchange a glance before getting up and getting dressed. They step out of the bounty. There was a huge abyss in the ground.

“Woah…” Cole said. “This wasn’t here last night, was it?”

“No. it wasn’t.” Nya said.

“This is too weird…” Kai rubbed his face with one hand and his poor, sore tush with the other.

“Damn, what did you two do last night?” Nya asked. “You know what, I don’t think I want to know.

“Heh…” Both Cole and Kai said.

“Come on, guys. Let’s see what’s down there.” Kai said. He grabbed some mountain-scaling tools and a couple unlit torches, passing some tools to the others before lighting his torch.

He and the others started to slowly go down the cavern…

Meanwhile, back with the other ninja, they finally had a lead. “So, is there something here?” Jay said. “What is it?”

Zane was leading the group back to the Cloud Kingdom. “Based on the information we were given, the reason we couldn’t find the book we needed was because the true name was hidden with a spell.”

“And… do we know the reverse spell to that spell? Lloyd asked. Zane nodded.

“Yes. It is in my database right now as we speak. It should lead us in the direction we need to go.”

“Alright th-” Jay was cut off by something hitting him in the head. A massive headache welled up as he stumbled down. He turned around to see the other ninja fighting. He staggered up to his feet as five, wait no, three headed snakes? No, that can’t be right… the number kept shifting and-

He was knocked down again, and tied up with Lloyd. Zane was pinned. Jay’s vision cleared up and he could finally see who the ambushers were. It was Pythor and Aspheera. This wasn’t good. This wasn’t good one bit.

Jay struggled against the ropes. “Hey, let us go!” he demanded.

Pythor slithered up to him, hissing. “Awe, I do apologize for our sudden visit, but me and my mistr- I mean my partner, not in a weird way, I mean-” Pythor’s face lit into a bright red, and Aspheera slithered up.

“Are you fine, Pythor?”

“Y-yes, of course. I’m just… nevermind, did you grab what we came here for?”

“Yesssss, I have the sssspell.” Aspheera stated. Pythor nodded and Slithered off with her.

“Sssplendid! Then, let's go.”
