Personality: Ella is the exact definition of stubborn and reckless. She will never back down from an adventure or fight especially if it could keep people safe. Though because of this recklessness she ends up getting herself into situations that aren't exactly desirable. Even if she does get into some sort of trouble she usually finds a way out of it whether that's by force or with her own wit. She has a lot of nerve and probably won't hold back from doing things most wouldn't. To add on to that she's extremely straight to the point. She won't leave you questioning what she thinks of you. While she could seem a bit feisty she's really chill around her friends and tends to look out for everyone. She's not afraid to protect anyone from any kind of danger even if it means risking her life. She has a fiery spirit that cannot be contained by even the most strict professor.

Background: Ella was born to a magic using father and a muggle mother. They were both loving and both supported her choice to pursue the magical side of her ancestry. She focused on learning about magic and getting ready to go to Hogwarts. She had an amazing first year but everything went downhill after that. That summer while she was home alone with her mom a freak accident happened. There was a gas leak in their house which happened to create a small explosion and start a fire. Her mom was in the room when the gas lot up and she was severely burned right after the explosion and died shortly after that. Ella had been in a different room but she heard a loud bang and went to check. When she saw the fire she acted without even thinking and went to grab her mom. She ended up burning herself badly before she could even move her mom. She eventually got her out of the house but by then her mom had passed away. From then on she had vowed to become a person that her mom would be proud of. It took a bit for her to get past the incident and even then she wasn't completely over it. Her dad ended up remarrying by her third year. Her stepmom was also a magic user which made it next to impossible for Ella to learn about muggle culture. For this reason she loves taking muggle studies. In addition to that downside her stepmom also turned out to be quite the prick. Though she used to love spending time at home she developed a hatred for her new home. She considers Hogwarts her true home now and refuses to call her stepmom anything but her first name. Sure that doesn't make her dad very happy but she couldn't care less. She will never accept her stepmom as her new mom because the day her real mom died a piece of her died as well. Despite all of this happening in her life the only ones that know are the headmaster and headmistress. She didn't really tell anyone about her situation at home because she didn't want anyone's pity.

Favorite Class: Muggle Studies

Fears: Being a failure and uncontrolled fires (Sometimes even campfires or candles make her nervous)

Strengths: Potions happen to be a strong suit for her as well as flying. She is one of the best broom flyers in the school and she takes full advantage of it by being on the quidditch team as their seeker. Her personality can also be a strength because she won't give up on even the smallest thing. Plus she'll always try her hardest to get things done right.

Weaknesses: She mostly struggles with the classes that require extreme focus like the history of magic or arithmancy. She tries to avoid those classes at all costs but she did have to take them one year. Her stubbornness can also be a weakness because it tends to get her in trouble.
