Chapter 3:

Rin’s POV

Whew~! Today is another day!. I wonder what’s going to happen...

I ran towards the mirror and greeted:

“GOOD MORNING LEN!” hehe, in a good mood today.

“Whoa! Rin, good morning, you seem to be in a good mood.” He replied, he got surprised by Rin's sudden 'good morning'

“YEAH! I’m in a very happy mood~!” I replied excitedly.

Suddenly, silence surrounded the room. I leaned on the mirror, then Len spoke up.

“Rin,uhh-- what do you wish for?”

I was surprised with that sudden question

Then I calmly replied

“Len, What’s with that question?.. All I wish is for you to be by my side... forever”

my eyes were staring at his as I touched the mirror, as if I was touching his hand.

“Well, except for that wish. Tell me, what wish do you want me to grant.” He replied.

“As I said~, I only wish for you to be right here by my side”

There was silence again.. This silence doensn't sound good at all.

So I continued

“Right....right, very well, ummmmm..... I think I wish that.... My illness will be cured, so I can walk properly already, and with that..I can roam around freely without any limitations..That'd be totally great.”

Len stared at me with a smile on his face. But it wasn't his usual cheerful smile...instead, it was something else.

He closed his eye and chanted some words I wasn't able to hear clearly.

And suddenly, a bright light surrounded the room...

It took about ten seconds before everything went back to normal..

Except that, My illness was cured!?

"Len-- wha--- How--- My illness!?.." No exact words came out from my mouth but, the feeling that I felt came out as tears. This time... it wasn't the sad and lonely tears that I always feel but it was the tears of joy..

"Len...T-Tha--Thank..ou..you" I managed to say it.

In my whole life, i never thought my illness would be cured just that fast. And I had always thought that this illness would stay..like-- forever... But it didn't.

“What makes you happy, makes me happy Rin.” Len told me with a bright smile.

I smiled back.

I sat down to calm myself.

“Okay, okay...”  I inhaled.

I was just so happy....

“What’s the other wish you wanted me to grant?” Len asked.

So...it's another wish?

I was thinking ‘that’ might do, I shouldn’t be thinking for my own happiness.So I told him:

“I wish that this long war would come to an end, people should stop dying and getting hurt.”

Then again,  Len closed his eyes

and chanted  some words I wasn't able to hear clearly.

And suddenly, a bright light surrounded the room...

It took about ten seconds before everything went back to normal..

I looked out of the window...

I felt... PEACE...

I saw the blue sky and pure white clouds....I felt so happy.. At last, the war came to an end.

I glanced at Len, who was also smiling.

“Len, All I can say is... Thank you so much..I-I don't know what to do in return...”

He replied to me by giving a warm smile "Rin..that smile that I see on your face is enough for me..."

I was really so happy that i started crying again.

I don’t know why, but tears won't stop coming out... I was really so happy..

That I fell asleep from crying...

Len’s POV:

Rin was crying so hard that she fell asleep..

She was so happy this day.. Her smile makes my day happy too.

I hate seeing her sad...

Yesterday, we were having so much fun too

Playing the game was so nostalgic...

I wish she would stay happy even if ‘that’ thing would happen already..

I just want to make her stay happy

Rin’s POV:

(In a Dream)

HUH? WHATS THIS AGAIN??

IN A CASTLE...AGAIN...

Someone is approaching

“Your highness.. good day” The person greeted me

YOUR HIGHNESS?? ME??

AS I REMEMBER, I HAD THIS DREAM BEFORE??

DOES THAT REALLY MEAN IM A PRINCESS??

IN THIS BEAUTIFUL CASTLE?? NO, I CANT BELIEVE IT..

IT MUST BE JUST A DREAM..BUT NOSTALGIC

BUT WHY DO I REMEMBER IT SO VIVIDLY?

Just who are these people...

"Your highness... it's time..."

Wait...that face....no..it can't be...

ARGHHH...MY HEAD... WHAT'S WITH THIS PLACE?

HELP...

IT'S TOO DARK....

I'TS JUST A DREAM RIGHT?.. Len...Len....

///RIN!!RIN!!// I hear a voice calling me...

///Rin!! Wake up!////

huh?

“HUH?” I found myself laying on the ground

Len was looking at me,worried.

“You okay?” He asked.

“I’m fine” I replied as I slowly got up.

“You got me worried.. When you were asleep, you looked troubled .It seems like you had a bad dream..What did appeared in your dreams?" Len asked me.. totally worried.

“Umm.. I-t's...uh..... It was confusing..very confusing, I actually remember my self as a princess in this certain country... It was nostalgic... I don't know... I keep having this dream.. and..a-and.. someone appeared... He looked.. H-He looked like.. y-”

“Seems like you remembered...” He cut off my sentence. Len smiled at me again.

“Wait...what? Does that mean?? It's true?”

“Probably...Yeah...But you should find out about the rest yourself”

I was really surprised... To think I was a princess... That just couldn't be..

Why?

How?

 I think there is a missing piece in my memory

“Len?” I called

“What is it?” He asked

“How can I remember my whole memory? I want to remember all of it... Even if I remembered that I was a princess in a country.. I still find something or someone missing..I wanna clear up something...” I told him

“I think you can find it out by using the last wish... Be a princess and go back to your family” He replied.

“Isn't there another way? I don’t want to waste up my last wish” I asked him

“Don't you want to meet your family again too right?”

“Yeah, but....”

“If you get to be a princess again, you may remember everything you have forgotten.” He continued

“O-okay” I was not so sure yet.. but I guess I have to do this?.. If I can fully regain my memories.. My life would go back to it's proper flow.

Then, he cast the last wish

He closed his eyes

He chanted some words I wasn't able to hear clearly

And suddenly, a bright light surrounded the room...

Except that I woke up being in a castle..

It wasn't normal at all!!

“LEN!!!!” I yelled

Suddenly maids came running in my room

“Your highness are you alright?” They asked.

“I-I-I’m fine... it's..it's just that i had a bad dream.” I replied in an act. Wait... this place..

Then, they left the room..

I looked out the window.. It was the abandoned city...

but... now it wasn’t abandoned anymore..

There were people living here...It was just a normal looking city.

Good thing I still knew where the mirror was located...

But, my heart was beating fast..

“What if the mirror wasn’t there anymore?”

“Is Len still there?”

“What if he left?”

I was trying my best to ignore these questions...

So... Nervously..

I went out of the room and told one of the maids that I’m going out for a walk..

I need to somehow get with the flow...since..starting today.. I'm already a princess

I think...memories are starting to flow back to my head as I walked going to 'that' house.

Then... I went out to find the place and found it.....

The house was still an empty house..

No one lived in this place years before the war..

I nervously went inside..
