Chapter 2:

Rin’s POV

 I woke up from sleeping..

 Last night... I had a very strange dream. .

 I went to Len on the mirror, he was there smiling..

 “Good morning Rin.. How was your night?” He asked.

 “Weird, a very strange dream..” I replied as I sat near the mirror.

 “What have you dreamt?” Len asked with a curious tone.

 “Well...I was in a castle, I saw a village in chaos, and the castle being destroyed, I don’t know what was that..But it felt so nostalgic seeing the castle, and I don’t know why..” I replied.

 But, after I told him that, he just responded an emotionless stare.

Len’s POV:

 Wow..Rin, I was thinking, haven’t you realized that it wasn’t just a simple dream, it was your MEMORIES...

 But what sadden me was....... You have forgotten about me, your former loyal servant...

 All you dreamt was being a princess in a lovely castle and the revolution..

 Rin, you really have forgotten about me haven't you?

 It really makes me sad and happy at the same time..

 But,... maybe someday you will remember me again, I hope you will, before ‘that’ happens.

 "Len...Len?"

I got back to my senses as Rin waved her hand at my face.

"-Oh!"

Rin’s POV

 “ Len, whats wrong?” I asked him.. I just got worried.

 “Oh, Rin! I’m fine.. Don't mind me,  It's just that, I remembered something... ”

 He replied to me with that cheerful face..again..

 I was sure, it was fake.

He should stop doing that, putting on that mask...That's just terrible...

For sure he was pained inside,

I don’t know the reason, but, I know I should tell him...It's really irritating...

Len you should stop that...seriously...

Sorry about this Len but...

“L-Len , please... Why do you keep smiling even if you are pained in the inside...!  It hurts me too you know, because, because... When someone is sad, It makes me sad too....that's why... I know we have not know each other for so long...but... it hurts... seeing someone do that..”

I touched the mirror....but..

 before I could continue my sentence--

 “--Rin, thank you...”

  He reached his hands across mine on the mirror.

From that hand I was touching, as I heard him thanking me
It was so warm that my tears started flowing. 

"-Len.."

Can I really just keep holding...I waited so long 
for his tender hand from the other side of the mirror.

 It's because, no one has ever thank me before truly when I was alone in this world ...

“Don't worry Rin, I’m not in pain, it's just because last night I had a terrible dream.. very terrible, which made me sad.. It was just a dream” He said.. now his smile became brighter.

Now..I just don't know how I should react.

 This is just terrible... I was the one who made the atmosphere like this...
 I should do something...

“Oh, then.. You sure you’re not lying? Better not come to me crying like a baby” I said with a teasing tone and laughed.

“Don’t worry I won’t~..” He replied

 We  laughed together

But still.. I was wondering, was he telling the truth, was it only a dream he meant? Since the face he made earlier was really serious..

“Rin, what about let’s play!..” He suggested excitedly

 “Are you sure? Better not lose!” I replied.

Len’s POV:

Rin asked me if I was fine.
I was relieved and smiled.
I told her I was...

But I got really surprised when she told me

“L-Len , please... why do you keep smiling even if you're pained in the inside !  It hurts me too you know, because, because... When someone is sad, It makes me sad too....thats why...”

She was really worried....Sorry..

 I can’t think of something else to say, all I could say is...

“---Rin, thank you”

I was surprised that tears flowed from her eyes after thanking her...

But,

I had to tell a lie to her that I was sad just because of a sad dream, I can't tell her yet that I was a her loyal servant and that what she dreamt last night was real.

 This made me even more sad that I told a lie

 But I think that she didn't believe what I told her earlier. About me.beng fine.

She just teased me after telling her that..I'm really sorry Rin..

I was thinking that this topic was a bit awkward so to make it brighter I asked her to play a game with me.

 Well, she did agree..

 As I remember before at the palace.. She loved the game, “Continue me”

Every time she gets bored, she asks me to play “Continue me”

 In which in this game, One of the player goes first saying a sentence, then, the other player continues

 Before, we made lots of stories; most of them were funny one’s....

 So I told Rin

 "Rin, what about the game “Continue me”?”

 Rin’s POV

 Len told me

 “Rin, what about the game “Continue me”?”

 “What’s that game?”

 I asked him. I reallyhad no idea what that game is but it sounds familiar. Maybe I've played it during my childhood.

 Len also looked surprised that I didn’t know the game.

He explained.

 “Wait.. You don’t know this game?”

 “Yeah, but it sound kind of familiar” I replied.

 “Oh, it’s easy, first , we will choose on who goes first, that person is going to say a sentence, after finishing the sentence, the next person continues the sentence, then again and again” he replied.

“OH!! Sounds fun!” I cheered excitedly.

Len and I decided who would go first, and I did

 I started with the sentence:

 “Long ago, there was a little princess; she was so pretty that all people admire her.”

Then Len continued:

 “But, the people didn’t know her true attitude”

Whoa, I didn’t thought he would continue like that..

 “The princess real attitude was naughty and sometimes mean”

 “She makes silly pranks to her servants and even her parents” Len continued

Hmmm.. I was thinking what pranks... I'd like to make a funny one

 “She made pranks like....” I was thinking

“Like putting frogs on the queen’s shoe!” Len inserted.

“Ohhhh...Len! I didn’t finish my sentence yet.. That was stealing..Plus.. That's a weird prank. Hahaha!” I pouted and laughed at the same time.

“Ahhh.. sorry, sorry, I suddenly got excited. But aren't all pranks weird??!” He laughed

 “Geeezz...” I complained

“Hahaha! Lets continue” Len said.

“Right!..Then.... Pranks like putting frogs on the queen’s shoe and more”

“So, one day, the princess did the same prank again... and”

 “The queen did the same with the princess!!” I paid him back from earlier and laughed.

“Wait! Now you’re the one...that's even more weird!” Len complained

 “Payback? Hahaha!” I said laughing until my stomach started to hurt a I saw Len's facial expression.

“Ooohhh~~but, why would the queen do that?” He asked me with a funny face

 “Because.... The queen is also naughty??” I said laughing again.

We continued the weird story and reached to weird things, places and people..

 And i just noticed... In this quiet room, there is now more laughter
