After telling and showing Andromeda their secret (by asking for some water and pouring it on their arms as they sat on the couch and drying up, courtesy of Rikki.) They waited, holding their breath for her to talk.

They did not expect her to laugh, "So these ladies are the reason you and Hermione disappear daily. I had assumed you were making friends, I never expected to meet more mermaids!" Andromeda says with a kind smile, shocking the girls and Lewis, causing Harry to laugh and his guests to turn towards him.

"What? She had the shock of her life when she found out about Mione and I. You telling and showing her your secret wasn't going to make her choke." He says, crossing his arms with a smile on his face.

Just then, footsteps were heard from the stairs and from them came Hermione with a grumpy looking Teddy.

"Everyone, this is Teddy. He should've been napping but he's being grumpy and stubborn about it." She puts him down and he looks at the new faces in confusion before going to Harry and holding his arms up.

Harry picks him up and sighs. "You really need to sleep Teddy."

"No...no sleep." Teddy says with a pout. "Chocolate! Chocolate!"

The group chuckles at his demand for chocolate but Harry shakes his head. "You can have chocolate after eating, okay buddy?"

"Okay...who that?" Teddy asks as he points at the group.

"Teddy, these are Cleo, Emma, Rikki and Lewis. They'll be staying here for tonight." Harry says and walks to the group for them to wave and coo at the toddler.

"Hermione, could you help them set up while I feed Teddy? If I don't he'll get bloody terrifying," Harry says as he passes a hand on Teddy's blue hair.

"Of course. Go take care of the mini wolf." Hermione says with a smile, making Harry and Andromeda chuckle and leaving the group confused as Harry walks towards the kitchen.

"Mini wolf?" Lewis asks, turning to Andromeda.

"It's what we call him when he gets fuzzy like that. Now run along with Hermione and I'll get the sandwiches, fruit salad and other snacks for you."

The sun had set and Teddy had calmed down enough and was playing with his toys in between Harry and Hermione.

The girls were in the middle of getting a pedicure with Lewis' help. Having already bathed and enjoyed the food, they were now relaxing and Teddy was close to falling asleep. Andromeda had pulled the blinds on all the windows and glass doors while subtly applying a mild sticking charm on them to prevent the moon or its reflection to get through.

Lewis finishes helping the girls with their pedicure and looks at his watch. "The moon should be rising about now. Just to make sure, stay away from all doors and windows."

"We know Lewis, so stop nagging." Rikki groans, wiggling her toes.

"Well forgive me for wanting to be careful and avoid any mistakes and craziness. We've yet to have an uneventful full moon." Lewis, with sass told her as he gets the sleeping bag, having decided to sleep in it and leave the couch for Harry and Hermione.

As Harry got up to take Teddy to bed, he felt it.

He freezes on the spot and looks at Hermione in a panic, her having the same look on her face. Andromeda runs down the steps, fear in her face as well. The group stare at them in confusion, and in Rikki's case suspicion. They stand and Lewis approaches, "hey, what's-"

Before he could finish what he wanted to say, Harry shouts "DOWN!" and pulls him to the floor, the girls following and not a moment too soon.

What Lewis could only describe as rays of light, shattered the window before flying towards where they stood moments ago. Then they all heard them.

"We have you surrounded Potter! No one will hear you and there's no escape!"

"You and that Mudblood are going to die tonight! Reducto!"

The door explodes from his hinges and that gave Harry the opportunity he needed. "Outside! Get outside. Now!" Just as they started to move towards the back, the door explodes, causing them to pause and look as two men walk in.

The men wore dark cloaks, from top to bottom. The one thing that made the girls and Lewis pale visibly, were the skull masks they wore. Both different but not the less menacing. However their fear was mixed with confusion when they look at their hands. Instead of holding guns or maybe even some sort of grenade, the men were holding...sticks?

"Look what we have here Thorfinn; Potter has guests."

The man beside him, Thorfinn stepped closer, "and what beauties they all are." The next thing the man knew, he was hit with a red light and sent flying towards the wall. Thorfinn raised his stick and had to avoid another jet of light heading his way.

Another explosion from the front made them turn and watched one of the man on the ground, the other standing with his stick up. "You'll pay for that Blood-Traitor!" He says towards Andromeda and his mouth opens to say something before the ground beneath him and he loses his balance.

"OUTSIDE NOW!" Harry shouts as he stands and hands Teddy to Andromeda and the moment his hands are free a stick appears in his hand from nowhere. Cleo, Emma, Rikki and Lewis watch as a jets of light leaves his stick in quick succession and Hermione joins him.

Andromeda, holding Teddy and her stick start to head out towards the back. The girls plus Lewis run outside as quick as possible. However, the girls can't avoid the moon now and look up at it, causing them to stop and stare at it.

Their gaze was broken quickly when they felt a a hard stinging sensation on their arms.

"OW!!"

"Now is not the time to lose your common sense. Into the water. NOW!" Andromeda shouts at them before looking behind them. "Protego!"

Turning, they see another beam of light heading their way, only for it to be redirected towards the man that was with Thorfinn and he avoided it but couldn't avoid the three jets following soon after and he fell to the ground, seemingly unconscious.

The other three men came out, moving their arms and more jets of light coming from them only for said jets of light to be met with opposing ones heading towards them.

"Bomabarda!"

"Stupefy!"

"Reducto!

"Avada Kedavra!"

Harry and Hermione rolled out of the way when two green jets of light headed their way and went back to saying the strange words. Suddenly, one of the men's stick was glowing purple and Hermione froze as it was sent towards her. Harry had to push her to the ground with him, or both would have been hit.

The clouds move away and the full moon shines bright on the beach. Harry and Hermione look up at it and suddenly their demeanor changed.

Gone were the hesitant looks, now replaced with determination and anger. The men seemed to have felt something as well, for they take a couple of steps away from them.

This time, there was no denying that Harry's eyes were glowing and Hermione's hair sparked. They rose the hands not holding their sticks, but the other one.

Two of the robbed men we encased in ice all the way to their necks, the other one seemed to be thinking of a retreat until he turned towards Andromeda and the group with a malicious smile. Before their eyes, the man twists and disappears with a loud crack. Andromeda, realizing what he must've been planning, turns around only to find the man appear again and grab hold of Cleo.

"What will you do now Potter? You can't get to me without hurting the girl." He says as he takes steps towards the water. That seemed to have been the wrong move.

Quick as lighting, Harry rose his hand and made multiple water tendrils surround the assailant and all he could do was scream before being dragged into the water with Cleo. The group stared in shock as Harry and Hermione dove after them and that was all the girls needed to follow.

They look around and see movement further away and quickly swim that way. Cleo was free from the man's clutches, making Emma and Rikki relax. However, they became concern when Cleo didn't look at them but kept staring ahead making them turn to look.

What they saw froze their blood.

Swimming in circles around the man were two horrifying creatures. Blue skin and scales covered their entire bodies, predatory dorsal like fins on their backs and arms as well, and their hair wasn't... normal while their ears seem to have changed into some sort of smaller fins or even gills. What little they could see of their faces was how their mouths were parted, bubbles leaving their lips as if hissing or even snarling.

The man seemed to have a bubble of air surrounding his nose and mouth, the arm that once held the stick laid at an unnatural angle and his eyes darted back and forth between the creatures in fear.

Emma realized what they were doing. They were toying with the man, waiting for him to make a move.

She was proven to be right for the man tried to swim turn and the creatures attacked.

Their speeds and coordinated attack would put even well trained police officers and soldiers to utmost shame. One attacked first and the other kept guard before attacking when its partner returned to keep watch.

The man let out screams, drowned by the water and blood started to coat him like a blanket. Cleo, Emma and Rikki realized they had claws and were using them to shred the man into pieces, and not one of them knew if to intervene or swim away.

Minutes before:

Lewis watched as they dove and then Andromeda was by his side and shoved something into his hand. Looking at what appeared to be very rubbery seaweed. "What is this stuff?"

"Eat it."

Lewis turned to her with wide eyes only to see her eat some of what he had been given and run to the water. A move of her stick on Teddy and she dove. Panicked, he did as she said and ran to the water.

His throat felt like it was constricting and he stumbled into the water, rolling before feeling something growing behind both his ears. Before he could freak out more, a hand pulled him into deeper water and that's when he realized he could breathe underwater!

He turned to the hand holding his. Looking up to the arm all the way to the shoulder, his eyes widen when they came to rest on the face. Andromeda had gills behind her ears like him, and beside her was Teddy with a bubble around his mouth and nose.

He didn't know how to process this. It was too much for his brain to handle! It was a miracle he hasn't passed out from it all. A squeeze to his wrist had him focusing on Andromeda as she motions for him to follow her and starts swimming quickly to open waters. Swimming like a mermaid would.

Looking down he let out a shout as he sees his hand are webbed between the fingers and his feet seemed to have turned into fins.

'Don't think about it. Just follow her, follow her and be calm.' He said to himself as he swam like her as quick as he could to catch up. Another shock to add to the seemingly growing list was that he caught up to her with little difficulty.

Figures appear as they swim towards them and he exhales in relief at seeing Cleo, Emma and Rikki safe. Only to start looking around for Harry and Hermione and, not finding them with the girls set him on edge once more. Swimming towards Emma, he puts a hand on her arm and she quickly turns only for her eyes to widen and swim backwards in shock, bumping into the other mermaids.

They turn and have the same reaction as Emma. Shock covers their facial features as they take in Lewis' new appearance. They stare at him for a time before noticing the other figure by him, looking a lot like him and then at Teddy.

They see the bubble and seem to remember something, for they turned from him to look ahead of them. Confused, Lewis does the same and his heart stops.

A curtain of red surrounded a certain area and Lewis knew exactly what it was. Blood.

Suddenly, something starts to sink from within said curtain of blood and Lewis realizes its one of the man that had attacked them. If he was there, where are Harry and Hermione?
