Manik stopped as he saw police car and taking Dhruv inside. He walked go police hands Mithal to them.

Manik : thank you officer coming on time.

Officer : it's was our duty mr Khanna!

Police after taking Dhruv and Mithal. Manik looked around to find Neil but couldn't see him. He ruffled his hair.

Manik : god this boy na! Hope he doesn't do anything stupid. Where could he be.. let me check our place.

Manik walked more future and took auto and went to their place. He thanked the drive and went inside.

He went and saw lights off. He signed and walked to switch and turned it on.

Manik walked to Neil's room and saw lights off again.

Manik : Neil are inside the room.

Manik didn't get answer but could her small sniff. Hearing sniff he guessed his Neil was here only where both brothers gets peace after fighting or whatever happens which they want peace.

Manik : Neil it's not your fault.

Saying this he switched the light on and saw Neil sitting in corner of his room holding photo and crying. Manik wiped his tears seeing him crying. He walked to Neil and kept his hand on his shoulder.

Neil : Bhai.... please...,. Leave ..... me.... alone..,

Manik sat Beside him and looked at Neil and Avni wedding picture which Neil was holding.

Manik : how can you think I would leave when you need me? Neil I know we both married but that doesn't mean we will forget we were best friends then brothers... you really well know we both can't hid pain from each other then why you trying too... it's not easy Neil I know... I have experienced with Nandini myself..... Neil I can understand what you feeling... Neil sitting here and crying won't do anything. She needs you Neil... she needs you The most Neil.... she is in pain too.....

Neil stopped crying and Looked at Manik.

Neil : Bhai..... why... this... happens.... to us...

Manik pulled him in hug and rubbed his back..

Manik : don't cry... you don't good crying.... it's shocking to see Neil Khanna crying....

Neil Laughed bit and hit Manik arm. Manik smiled and broke hug.

Manik : no stop crying... go home.. Avni must be waiting for you... I know you don't to go but Neil you being with her will help her to recover.i also you know you blaming yourself but trust me it's not your fault... I know Avni got best husband to protect her... don't say anything about my brother. He is best... now come let's go home...

Neil : Bhai I don't want to go...

He looked down and stared his picture with Avni. Manik sighed and looked at Neil.

Manik : why... because you think you failed to save her....

Neil : yes I failed today... didn't you see how she was crying.... I don't want face her...

Manik : you coming With me.. I won't hear no from you..

Manik took the photo and placed it bed carefully and held Neil hands. He took Neil to his car and looked at him.

Manik : sit in the car!

Neil : i won't!

Manik : Neil don't stubborn head.

Neil : you Being stubborn not me..

Manik glared him.

Manik : get inside before I push you in...

Neil: I won't!

Manik having no option he pushed Neil in the car and settled himself.

Manik : baby Khanna put your seatbelt on.

Neil nods no. Manik moves and put his seatbelt.

Manik : why you behaving like baby today?

Neil didn't answer him. Manik Starts driving. Neil looked outside window controlling his tears.

Manik parked the car front of Khanna house and looked at Neil who wiped his tears. Manik felt bad for him but he was helpless.

Manik : Neil we reached!

Neil : bhai I can't!

Manik : Neil... stop it... this wasn't Neil I knew... why you being weak...

Neil : her... love... made me.. weak..

Neil got off the car and walked Inside and went his room. Manik sighed and looked at going. Mani came out and went to Neil's room too.

Neil reached to his room and saw Nandini sitting beside Avni and caressing her hair. Avni was sleeping. Seeing her Neil had tears in his eye.. he looked behind him as he felt hand on him and saw Manik standing there..

Manik : you need to be strong Neil... for Avni you have to do this...

Neil nods and walked inside the room followed by Manik. Nandini saw them both coming. She wiped her tears before both could notice but she was late as Manik saw it. He knew she was worried for Avni. Neil sat beside Avni and caressed her hair. He looked her lovingly. Nandini and Manik left the room leaving them alone. Nandini closed the door and went to her room.

Neil stared her and tear slipped from his eyes on her cheek.

Neil : I'm sorry Avni.. I couldn't save you.. I'm very bad... please forgive me... please...

He wiped his tears and kissed her forehead and got up and moved to in washroom. Neil stood under shower. Neil turned the tap and allowed cold water touching his body. His eyes were filled with tears remembering Avni crying face..

While in manan room. Nandini sat there hugging Manik and crying.. Manik was rubbing her back but Nandini didn't stopped crying.

Nandini : why... she went... through... this...

Manik : Nandini shhh! Please don't cry..

Nandini broke hug and looked at him..

Nandini : will... she be fine!

Manik : she will be.. Neil is with her. Go change your clothes.

Nandini gave nods and moved to washroom while Manik sat there and thought something.

While Neil walked out the washroom in his wet clothes. He saw Avni sleeping. He moved to closet and took his Clothes and moved back to washroom.

After changing Neil settled on bed and held Avni hands. He stared her face..

Unknowingly he slept in same position.

Next morning Nandini came to see Avni when she saw Neil sleeping holding Avni hands. She smiled and moved to Neil.

Nandini : Neil wake up!

Neil stirred and after few minutes he opened his eyes. He saw Nandini standing there..

Neil : Babhbi! You here?

Nandini : wake Avni up!

Neil nods. Nandini left the room. Neil looked at Avni. He pressed his both lips together to control his tears and took his hand and kept on her hair..

Neil : Avni..

Avni was sleeping when she jerked herself... she was sweating then saw Neil. Without Thinking anything she hugged him tightly. Neil shocked as she was sleeping peacefully and Suddenly she woke all sweating..

Neil caressed her hair.. Avni sobbed in his arm.. Neil could hear it but didn't stopped her...

After few minutes later Neil broke hug and wiped her tears..

Neil : don't cry... please.

She didn't say anything but hugged him again. Neil knew this will happen but kept quiet. Neil kept caressing her hair when Avni herself she broke hug and without looking at Neil she left to washroom... Neil sat there and looked at the washroom door..

Neil : my Avni....

He closed his eye and rested his head on the headboard.

Avni came back from washroom and saw Neil resting. She didn't wanted to disturb she walked out the room.

After half hour Neil opened his eye and saw washroom door opened. He got worried not seeing Avni in the room..

He ran out his room and saw everyone sitting..

Neil : Babhbi ... Avni!

Nandini looked at him...

Nandini : she was in room.. right!

Neil : she isn't...

Nandini : I didn't see her going....

Neil got sacred and ran out the house and saw figure walking lifeless on the road.. before he could think his eye fell on truck coming toward the figure......

Without thinking anything he ran to figure and pulled the figure to him... seeing face Neil got shocked.

He only whispered..

Neil : av...ni...

Avni was still lost in her thoughts.. she didn't realise what's has happened around her.... she didn't Knew where she was walking or whom she is with....

Neil saw her lost... without giving thoughts he hugged tightly... he cried but his cried didn't reached to her... she was deaf to hear his sob...

I know I didn't update any stories since last Sunday.. and as I said I'll update on Wednesday but didn't due as it's was raining so couldn't do it. And on Thursday I was busy with rakhi so couldn't do it.. after Thursday I fell in ill badly... Whenever I step out of my haikus I catch cold.. I was better on Saturday.. Yesterday I planed to update but didn't do as I didn't feel like it...

I have seen comments about updating.. I'm sorry I didn't reply as I wasn't well past few days..

Now coming to stories... as I said before this story will be ending soon.. after this chapter it's only four chapters...
