Hello Everyone and Welcome to another Video of Magical Girls Explains, Today will be Talking about The Main Character of Magia Record Iroha Tamaki and her Story.

Now I Made a Video on an Introduction to this series which you can find above you or in the description below where ever i decided to put now let’s get one with the video.

(General Info)

Iroha Tamaki is a 15 year old Magical Girl, Her Birthday is August 22nd, 156 Cm High, and her eyes and hair are Pink Color, She was Originally from Takarazaki city Before Moving To Kamihama City, More on that letter.

Her Soul Gem is a Pink Circle Located on The Belt of Her Throat. Her Weapon is a Wrist Mounted Crossbow, Her Wish was to Heal her sister Ui Tamaki more on her later she deserves a Video of Her Own.  “Make Ui Healthy Again” is Her wish.

Her Witch Form and Doppel is Giovanna, Who we will talk about later.
Her Known Family Members are Of course Ui Tamaki, and her Unnamed Mother & Father.
She was Transferred to  Kamihama City University Affiliated School in The 9th grade.
From an Unnamed School in Takarzaki.

Her Magical Girl Element is The Light Element and her Ability is Healing.

(Iroha’s Magical Girl Summary)

Iroha came to Kamihama to investigate strange dreams she was having. She is a Kind-hearted and she tends to worry too much about others. She's not up on the latest trends and isn't good with her phone. Usually reserved, she can be a fighter when it matters most.

(Giovanna Doppel Description)

Giovanna is The Doppel of Iroha Tamaki, It has to Descriptions it’s anime card and it’s in Game Description.
In the Anime Card it reads “The Doppel of Silence. Her form is that of a cuckoo. This Doppel is a replica of silence. When her soul gem turns black, Iroha's hair transforms and this Doppel reveals herself. This Doppel, which has a timid nature, silently covers her ears and tries to cover up everything by using a cloth.”
The In game description states the Following, “The Doppel of silence. Its form is a cuckoo. The master of this emotion is aware of how pitiful her Doppel is, and refuses to look at it. This Doppel wordlessly wraps around and strangles anything it doesn't want to hear as it continues its search for something to fill the hole in its heart. While it should be calling for someone, it is cowardly and afraid of acknowledging the reality it has concealed, and so it remains, silently covering its ears.”

(Iroha’s main Story)

In Iroha main story, Iroha Finds she has been having Strange Dreams, These Dreams are about a little girl who is her sister Ui Tamaki, Unfortunately No one seems to remember Ui as Being Iroha’s sister, Iroha Couldn't Even Remember Her wish to become a Magical Girl from this.

The Ui in her Dreams Tells Iroha to Go to Kamihama City, Where Magical Girls Can Be Saved.
In The 2020 Anime Iroha has a Friend Named Kuroe who is also a Magical Girl, More will be talked about her later when more Info is Revealed about her.

Kuroe Tells Iroha that she’s been having strange dreams of a Little Girl telling her to Go to Kamihama City where magical girls can be saved from their wishes.

Kuroe wants to go there with Iroha, In each version of the Story anime & game. Iroha Goes to kamihama, in the 2020 anime she and kuroe are taken there in a Witches Labyrinth, and Bump into Yachiyo Nanami when they get stuck in The Sand Witch Zenobia's Labyrinth. 

Yachiyo, annoyed by them being tells them to go home where they came from and that they were on The West side Magical Girl Territory.  They Apologize and Leave when Yachiyo Gives them the Grief Seeds From The Battle and sends them off.

In the 2017 Game, Iroha is in Kamihama when she goes into a Labyrinth, where she meets Kaede Akino running away from a Witch, she gets tangled in her mess when saving Kaede and the Both are Rescued By Rena Minami & Momoko Togame, Kaede Akino’s Friends This Version happened in the anime. In the 2017 game is Momoko who saves Kaede and Iroha alone but I really don’t remember what Rena was doing at the time of this Event in the story.

Iroha is then taken to Minama Yakumo. A Magical Girl Coordinator, Who Does Not Fight and Runs a Magical Girl Shop in a Vacnet Old Building Mostly a Magical Girl Hospital in the anime, where Minama Helps By Strengthening The Magic of The Soul Gems and supplies other information, Though she does have a Cost for her Work that does not require money but Grief Seeds.

It is during these moments that Iroha Encounters a Small Incubator, a Baby Kyubey. Iroha is also looking for this strange kyubey, she refuses it in early of the game as Little Kyubey or Small Kyubey, In the Game you are allowed to pick the name of the Small Kyubey. In the 2020 anime iroha called it Small Kyubey, It’s Cancon Name has not been revealed yet as the anime goes on at the time of this video only season 1 of magia record and it’s english dub are available.”

The English Game has been deactivated. Let’s get back to the Story.
Iroha Encounters Yachyio in The Game, When she is warned by Momoko about her. When they make their first encounter, Yachiyo Acts Cold and Untruested, As like a Person who doesn’t Trust Outsiders in a Small Town.

She Then Got in a Fight Between, Yachyio and Momoko, this escalated when Yachyio Try to Harm the small kyubey it’s unknown why and i can’t remember the reason, in the 2020 anime she seems to not noticed The Small Kyubey Until Later in the anime.

Once The Fight is Over Yachiyo Leaves, iroha and yachiyo come into contact again when irona’s parents go on a Business Trip Overseas, and sends iroha to a New School, That Being Kamihama University, Iroha Now Lives in a Boarding House That is Owned By Yachyio Passed down to her by her Late Grandma.

There She Becomes Friends With Yachiyo. Yachyio Explains about the Strange Things Going on In Kamihama and Warns Iroha to avoid them or any unwanted magical girls who would cause harm if iroha gets in their way.

Of Course Iroha does anyway, when Kaede and Rena Begin to Argue, Momoko Telling Iroha how it happens all the time and they forgive each other afterwards, But This Time They didn’t, it’s then revealed about a Rumor around school called The Friendship Ending Staircase.

That If you write your name and your friends name on the Staircase that I believe is that one that leads to the Roof, it is that once written you will break up with this friend. And if you or they try to apologize they will disappear and go missing. It’s Revealed that the Uwasa, a Strange Witch like entities are behind the Rumors they are based on the Friendship ending staircase being one of them.

Kaede Tries to Apologize to Rena, But Rena Keeps Avoiding her, Once they stop Rena from avoiding Kaede and she apologizes to Rena, Kaede is taken by The Uwasa. They then attempt to rescue Kaede. Which is a Successful Rescue and Rena & Kaede Become Friends again.

Yachyio then tells iroha that she has been hunting down the Uwasas, as they were the ones causing strange things happening in Kamihama, She Also Confirms they are not Witches as They Don’t Drop Grief Seeds.

Iroha Joins yachiyo on her case of the Uwasas and Their Rumors, They Then meet Tsuruno Yui, Felicia Mitsuki and Sana Futaba as the Story Progresses.
They Also Meet the Original Puella Magi cast, Mami Tomoe, Madoka Kaname, Homura Akemi with her Glasses, Kyoko Sakura and Sayaka Miki, as they all had strange dreams and have come to Kamihama for answers.

When Iroha first met mami, it was during when they were fighting the second Uwasa The Seance Shrine, Yachiyo and Tsuruno Acompanded Iroha on this mission, and it is when iroha unlocks Her Doopel Giovanna inside the Uwasas Labyrinth.

Mami Mistakes Iroha as a Witch in Human Form and attacks, In The 2017 Game Momoko Intervenes and Mami Leaves Keeping her Eyes Locked on Iroha, in the 2020 anim, Yachyio is able to stop mami and force her to leave without any fights breaking out.

It is Then Found out that a Group of Magical Girls Called The Wings of Magius are Protecting The Uwsasas. And that two of the leaders are friends of Ui, Touka Satomi and Nemu Hiirgai, Touka Claiming to Not know anyone named Ui and that it’s just a Figment of Iroha’s Imagainon.

Touka Then Explains The Uwsas’s are part of the wings of magus and so are the witches, Touka also Reveals the Truth about Magical Girl’s to Iroha, Tsuruno, Felicia and Sana.
Iroha Then Finds out about Yachyio’s Past and Two of Her Magical Girl Friends who died, will talk about them later in another video.

They Then Forgive each other, and I am not gonna spoil anything else about the Main story because I didn't reach that far into the game before the game was deactivated.

(Iroha Tamaki Side Story)

Now Let’s Get on with the Side story of Iroha Tamaki. In The Side story it talks about Iroha Going to Mitama’s Place to pay her Grief Seeds For Magic Strengthening. But Iroha doesn’t feel right and Mitama joked with her at the Beginning before talking about Food.

Iroha feels Glimpses of memories when Mitamta does the Magic Strengthening.   
The Momoko Interrupts, Mitamta Then Tells Momoko how rude it was to Interrupt, But Momoko just says she’s more of a lookout employee for Mitama. She asked how the Treatment was Going.

Mitama Says it’s not Done yet, Momoko Realizes that Mitama Didn’t Had Lunch Yet, It Turns out Mitama’s Magic Treatments don't work when Mitama is Hungry.
Iroha apparently saw Hamburg Steak in her Memories, Mitamta Corrects her on that.

They Head Out to have Lunch, and Mitama starts Cooking, Iroha Learns That mitama is not bad at cooking but is very dangerous at it too, as Iroha begs her to put down the Knife she was holding.
Iroha asked if momoko can cook, Momoko said the same for iroha and that she was in charge of cooking at her place.

Iroha Explains How she can cook well for her sister Ui, there weren't a lot of things Ui Could Eat, Iroha Cooked in Order to help her, She says Hamburg Steak is a Dish with a Lot of Memories.

Iroha Thinks back to the days at the Hospital when Ui was about to be able to leave. She asked the doctor if she could bring something, and the doctor agreed, Ui said she wanted Hamburg. So Iroha went to cooking, since she had left over inggrents she decided to bake a Cake too.

But She accidentally Burned the Hamburg steak, Iroha Give Ui the Cake, But her mom comes in with the Hamburg steak, Iroha asks why she brought it with her, Her Mother says because iroha went through all the Trouble to make it. Despite iroha’s Concerns Ui enjoyed the Food.

Back in The Present day after Iroha told the story, It made Mitama Cry to Momoko's annoyice.
Mitama Realized her Meal was Burning, When Mitama Takes it Out, Iroha is surprised to see it.
But it doesn’t explain why Iroha should do her best to look for Ui. Iroha thinks Ui is someone who would make everyone smile.

Sometime Later, Felicia Comes Back to the House, She Shares with Yachyio and Iroha, and Tsurouno Yui who happen to be there, About the Excipet she went to For “Hugegon Ball”,  a Reference to Dragon Ball.
She also said she got keychains for everyone, Felicia then states she is Hungry, Iroha Offers to Cook something for her, But Felicia Refuses and says she wants to eat out tonight, so they went to Tsurono’s Family Chinese Restaurant.
While Iroha and Yachyio think the Foods Average, Felica says she likes it, Yachyio wonders if it's because she gets free food for working there.

They Start eating, Tsurono says about how her family used to be famous, Felica says something that makes Tsuruno upset and run off. Iroha Scolds Felicia for Being Rude and not being aware of others' Feelings when Felica didn’t mean to hurt tsurno’s feelings.

“This make Felica also cry and run off, Iroha tries to apologize, But Yachyio admits she felt the same, Felica the feels bad so she goes find tsuruno at her favorite park, she apologizes to her as she didn’t meant to hurt tsuruno’s feelings, Tsuruno forgives her, Iroha and Yachyio soon arrive.
And iroha apologies for scrolling Felica.

Felicia Forgives her Before Collapsing from Hungary, and they all decided to finish up their meal.
Iroha was surprised she had lucursed felicia like she was a mother to felicia.

Sometime later, Tsuruno and felicia arrived at the house and were welcomed by Iroha, Sana and Yachiyo, Tsuruno Invites Everyone to a Magical Girl Training Camp, Being Held by Asuka Tatsuki at her Family’s Dojo, Yachyio Paasses on The Camp, Sana Thinks Asuka is too Pushy and Scares her.      

Iroha was not instented, Yachiyo says the “carnivorous group” Meaning Felicia and Tsuruno should go to the camp, while the  "vegetarian group” Meaning Iroha, Sana and Her stay at the House. Sana Thinks of Tsuruno and Felicia as Cavewoman and Laughs.

That Weekend, Tsuruno and Felicia got to the Training Camp, Iroha realized she made to much food, and Yachyio comes out of the Shower Realizing, No one needs to use it after her, sana said the Drama Show everyone watches starts at ten, But Tsuruno wasn’t with them to watch it, They watch it anyway, and it wasn’t really fun with Tsuruno around.

At The Training Camp, Asuka said training was done for today, She Tells the Girls to Make there own dinner, Felicia Wonders if Asuka was a masochist, Asuka Overhears her and tells her not to whisper and that she is not a Masochist.

They Found Out That Momoko, Rena and Keade are at the Camp, they made dinner with them, Tsuruno accidentally calls Rena and Yachyio, Felicia Referses it as a Student calling a Teacher “Mom”. After dinner everyone went to sleep, but Felica and Tsuruno, Couldn’t sleep so they decided to duel each other.

After that, Felica thinks if Yachiyo were here how mad she would be, Tsuruno askes of she really means it. The Next day Iroha, Yachiyo and Sana decide to make a hot pot for everyone. They went to shop for groceries, and Knew what to get Felicia and Tsuruno, Iroha believes all those things are special to her like Jewels and Wonders if that is what you call a Bond.

When They Came Home, Felicia and Tsuruno were there, They had decided to leave Camp early to see what everyone was up too and if they were lonely, They all had Dinner with each other,  Iroha narrates that if two people are gone, then it feels like something's missing. She welcomes them home.

There are other story’s that deal with the Different costumes and Outfits she wears, such as her Swimsuit, Her Winter Outfit, Maid Costume and New Year’s Komodo.  But I won’t explain them here; you can find them on the Magia Record Wiki Page for more.

(Iroha’s Abilities) 

Thanks to her wish to cure her Ui's disease, Iroha has healing magic. However, while she has been shown using it to heal others, it is unclear whether she can use it on herself to the same extent as Sayaka Miki. However, her power is capable of completely healing a cracked Soul Gem, as was the case with Mifuyu Azusa.
With her arm-mounted crossbow, Iroha can fire magical arrows, either one-by-one or in a large, spread-out volley. She can charge her arrows before firing to make them stronger. She is also capable of creating a large bow made of magic capable of firing herself like an arrow.

(Iroha Tamaki’s Name Meaning)

Her Last Name Tamaki Means “Ring”, This is in comparison to Madoka which can be written as "circle" or "round" in kanji, She bears the same name as the Japanese pangram poem, the Iroha.

(Fun Facts about Iroha Tamaki)

Fact #1: Her illustrator is Ume Aoki.

Fact #2: The name of Iroha's witch, Giovanna, and the name of Yachiyo's witch, Campanella, are a reference to the famous Japanese novel Night on the Galactic Railroad, who's main characters were named Giovanni and Campanella. This, together with Campanella being the doppel of Ticket-clipping, is irony - in Night on the Galactic Railroad, Campanella decides to answer a question in class instead of the shy Giovanni, only to stay silent so that Giovanni is less embarrassed, and it is Giovanni who owns the ticket to the galaxy.

Fact #3: The name Giovanna means 'God is gracious'. This may have something to do with Iroha's role in the story, ultimately being the one who frees her sister from her terrible fate as if it were a miracle - ence the fact she is a God like figure. The guidebook says part of the inspiration of her doppel's design was 'a saint' (possibly hinting at the crown it wears) so this may hold some ground.
Fact #4: Since Iroha's doppel represents a calling bird this may be a reference to 'four calling birds' as Iroha was meant to be the fourth Magius leader. This also may be why her doppel is linked with Touka, Nemu and her sister Ui. The four of them were meant to make a group
