"I...Yes...I...That'd have to me...How do you know my name?" Newt stuttered out as his brows knitted themselves together in complete and utter confusion. You wrung out your hands nervously as you averted your eyes.
You couldn't believe it was him. Standing right there. Standing in front of you. And yet he had no idea who you were. You were a complete stranger.
"I...I'm so sorry...I don't know what...this was...I'm so sorry!" You stammered in embarrassment as you turned to leave. You couldn't believe you had done that.
"Hogwarts! 1916! (Y/N)?" Newt asked abruptly as you stopped dead in your tracks. You turned around slowly as you looked at Newt and nodded timidly.
"Wait! You two know each other?!" Tina shouted as she stared at both of you in complete disbelief. You bit your lip as Newt readjusted his blue coat.
               "Yes...but she...she wasn't involved in any of this!" Newt replied urgently as he turned around to face Tina, just as the office door banged open and closed again.
"Tina! Are you in here? Tina?" A man asked curiously as he wandered into the office. He stopped abruptly at the sudden sight of you and gasped.
"Ms. Black! Shouldn't you be in the meeting? What are you doing down here?" The man stuttered out nervously as you opened your mouth to speak.
"Yes, what are you doing down here, Ms. Black?" Percival Graves asked darkly as he stepped out of the shadows. You backed up in sudden fear as Tina gasped.
"Mr. Graves! T-This man has been running around New York carrying many dangerous creatures in h-his case!" Tina shouted angrily and Graves raised his eyebrows suspiciously. You shook your head as you stared at Newt in confusion.
"Has he now? Well we'd best have a look in his case!" Graves sneered as he ripped Newt's case out of his hands. Newt panicked as he shifted from foot to foot, uncomfortably. Graves frowned again as he popped open the case slowly only to reveal a selection of assorted pastries and baked goods, making Newt exhale with relief.
"I'd recommend that you leave the bad-guy hunting to the professionals and stick to your job in the office, Ms. Goldstein!" Graves spat out as he turned to leave.
Tina's boss shook his head as he followed Graves out of the office, leaving the three of you in an awkward silence, before Tina turned to Newt angrily.
"What did you do with those creatures?" Tina shouted as Newt backed away from her in complete and utter terror. You bit your lip, unsure of what to do.
"I...I...They must've...The Muggle...He...He must've grabbed the wrong case! We have to find him before he loses any of them!" Newt shouted as he ran towards the door. Tina flicked her wand to the side, bounding Newt tightly with a rope.
"You're not going anywhere without me! Because once we find that case, I'm going to be the one who turns you in!" Tina snapped as she untied the ropes from around Newt, keeping a firm grip on his arm to make sure he didn't escape. She then turned her attention to you, her face coated in an angry fury as she stared at you with hatred.
"You! British Girl! You're coming with us!" Tina barked as she pulled out a pair of metal handcuffs and snapped them around your wrists, trapping your hands behind your back. You yelped in discomfort as Newt gasped and shook his head.
"She doesn't need to come with us! She had no involvement in any of this!" Newt insisted as he struggled against Tina's death grip. You shook your head.
"Don't struggle, Newt. It's no use. Just let her search for what she's after so we can all go back to our normal lives," You sighed exasperatedly as you stared at the ground in complete discomfort.
"She's right! You don't get to go on with your lives until I get what I want! Now tell me where I can find that No-Maj!" Tina shouted angrily.
"I...I don't...I don't know!" Newt cried as he fumbled around in his pockets for some unattainable object. You sighed again, as Tina gritted her teeth in frustration.
"Then we'd better get back to that bank and find out who he is!" Tina growled as she pulled out her wand and grabbed your arm. Before you had a chance to think, you had been transported out onto the streets of New York just as Newt gasped.
"There! Over there! Follow that Billywig" Newt shouted as he wrenched free of Tina's grasp and began chasing after a small flying creature. Tina grumbled incoherently as she followed after Newt, dragging you roughly and violently behind her.
Newt came to an abrupt halt in front of a large building, surrounded by hundreds of firemen and in-uniform officers. You shook your head in disbelief as you stared at the horrific scene laid out before you. An entire building had been torn apart.
"Oh no! My creatures!" Newt exclaimed as he ripped out his wand and ran towards the smoking building. Tina let out another string of inaudible grumbles as she chased after Newt, as you followed close behind her.
"Reparo!"Newt shouted as he directed his wand at the building around him. The bricks flew back into place around you as you ran up the stairs after him, only to come to an abrupt stop at the door of a small apartment. Inside was an unconscious man.
"That's the No-Maj!" Tina shouted as she ran into the room after Newt, who was holding a brown leather case, on his lap. You stared into the room, unsurely.
Newt peered inside the case and quickly shut it, a horrified look on his face. Tina turned back to him and shook her head, rapidly, full of rage.
"It was open?" Tina shouted as she jerked her hand towards the case. Newt licked his lips nervously as he smoothed down the leather on the case.
"Just a smidge," He replied as Tina let out a large whimper and raked her hands through her short hair.
"That Niffler thing! Did it get loose again?" Tina asked as she frantically tried to wake the Muggle who was collapsed on the floor in the corner.
"It's a possibility," Newt mumbled as he quickly closed the gold latches on the case. Tina sat up frantically as she sent a glare in Newt's direction.
"Well! Find it!" She exclaimed just as a large, naked-looking, rat jumped onto you, causing you to release an ear-splitting scream. Newt looked up in utter shock as he quickly grabbed the animal off of you and shoved it back into his case.
"Just a simple Murtlarp! Nothing to worry about!" Newt whispered to you as he gave you an innocent look, making you sigh, as you trembled with fear.
"Oh! Mr. No-Maj! It's alright! I just need you to come with me! Everything'll be fine!" Tina whispered softly as she coaxed the Muggle to his feet. You quickly stepped out of the way as the man got to his feet, swaying slightly. He was clearly hurt.
"I'm afraid that you will all have to come back home with me until we are able to get this situation under control!" Tina replied as she quickly grabbed ahold of you and Newt and apperated once more, leaving you in a world of dizziness. What a day this was shaping up to be.
