The Valkyries flew above the tree lines, scanning the ground below. The side of a tree opens up and Edward pokes his head out. He jumped out then helped Alexis out. "Atomic shouldn't be too far now," Edward said as they continued to run through the forrest where it opens up to a military controlled town.

Soldiers stood near the entrance with assault rifles and drones. "Hold it," one demands as someone tries to enter, "transfer papers and identification." They hold out papers and the soldiers exam them, "set to the side and spread your arms." They comply and the drones do a body scan, "clean. Don't be starting any trouble."

Alexis looked around then noticed Edward was gone. She searched for him to see he was waiting near the fence. "Make sure nobody sees you," he whispers ad puts his hands out. Alexis nods and is boosted over the fence, "find an aircraft, quickly."

Alexis sneaks through the town, avoiding patrols as much as possible. "Did you hear," she eavesdrops of a pair of soldiers, "there's going to be a full scale attack on Aura, wish I was there instead of here."

"Is the Exterminator going to be there," his partner asked hopefully, "that man is a badass!"

The soldier chuckled as he playfully punched his partner. "Didn't you hear? Gold's been exiled," they walk off laughing and Alexis keeps on searching.

She finds several aircrafts and enters, confused by all the controls. She manages to start it up but then spotlights laminate the aircraft. "Unauthorised engine start," anti-aircraft turrets spin to the aircraft, "stand down or we will open fire."

Alexis accidentally presses a button and missiles fly out, destroying a turret. They fire of the aircraft as it starts to fly uncontrollably. Edward sees this from the outside and steps back, shaking his head. The aircraft drifts towards him and he jumps up, catching the underside. "Move," he orders and Alexis does so.

The aircraft steadies out and he opens fire on the turrets and soldiers below. He then pushes the throttle and send the aircraft soaring away. He landed the aircraft once they were far enough away.

"The targeting system is off a little," Edward said as he opened and panel and started to repair, "I can fix it just give me some..."

"When and why were you exiled," Alexis asked and Edward froze. He looked to her with a long sigh, "Edward, was it because of me?"

Edward was silent for a long time then went back to repairing the aircraft. Alexis was disappointed and sat in the aircraft, soon falling asleep.

Back at Atomic, the Colossus arrived to resupply and the commanding official of Atomic reported everything to the Chairman. "They're heading for Aura," Chailux said, watching the bright fires glow, "Major Astro," he quickly turns to Damian, "I am starting to question your abilities. Need I remind you," he walks straight up to Damian, towering over him, "I have the power to make your life miserable."
