Alexis jolts up, gasping for air and clutching at her chest. She looked around to see she was in a forrest under a warm blanket. Edward sat with his back to her, staring into a fire and watching the flames dance. "He said fire shall cleanse," he said quietly and Alexis slowly approached him from behind, "he said that from the ashes we shall rebuild a world without magic.

She was frightened by his sudden shift towards her. He turns away again and Alexis sits next to him. "So, what now," she asked and Edward just shrugged.

A rumbling from above alerted them and they saw an aircraft, large enough to be a carrier, fly overhead and being escorted by several gunships. "That's Colossus," Edward yelled and the two of them ran for cover, "the Chairman's personal warship."

Alexis examined the heading of the warship and caught up with Edward. "It's heading for Aura, the magic wielder capital," she yelled with concern, "we need to warn them."

"It will still take it time," Edward stopped once they were under the dense leaves, "Colossus maybe powerful but is slow and will need to stop to refuel," he started tapping on his gauntlet and a holographic map appeared, "it will need to stop at Atomic and Element before reaching Aura," he pointed out as he went on, "also, he might want to destroy a couple of magic wielder towns along the way." Alexis gave a weird look but knew it was true. "If we can reach Atomic before they do, we can stop them there."

Onboard the Colossus, Chailux stood on the bridge, watching as they pass over the forrest. "Chairman," he turns to see Selene walk up with a salute, "report from the front lines, they are waiting outside the walls of Aura. Project Demon is being loaded as we speak."

"I want that that thing prepped as soon as we apprehend Gold," he ordered and Selene look away for a second, "is that clear," he demanded and she gave a nod before walking off.

Selene walked through the aircraft until Damian, who was talking to some other Valkyries, stopped her. "What's wrong Sweety," he ask with concern to his fiancé.

"I'm not too sure how stable the Chairman is," Selene answered and Damian frowned, "I don't think what he's doing is..."

"Selene," Damian said as he took her hand, "we are in the middle of a war," Selene looked at him weirdly when he said that, "drastic times call for drastic measures." One of the Valkyries he was talking to earlier called to him, "I've got to go," he said and left with the others towards the hanger.

"Command discovered an energy reading from below but they can't pin point it," a Valkyrie informed as the hanger doors open, "the Chairman wants us to investigate."

Damian puts on a helmet like the others do and gives a nod. Their wings extend out and they jump, falling straight down then gliding across the treetops. "Spread out," Damian ordered as he pointed out the directions he wanted them to go, "search under every rock if you have to."
